I’m not a jealous person but is because Florida have about 65778758788854888484858485 species of fish to catch. Shhiiiiet there invasive species is more exciting than 10 species we catch in NY. If lucky we get an occasional cobia etc
Nice of you to say where your at! For us that only maybe get to run down there once in a blue moon, it really help to get pointed in the right area. Thanks and Great job.
When I grow up (although I'm probably twice your age) I wanna be just like you, you my friend are living the dream and I am envious every day. It's ok still, cause I live vicariously though you, lol
Haha 😆 as I get older though I’m starting be envious of others who have what I don’t so I think it goes both ways. But I’m loving life every second of it on the water.
I’m not doubting that you already know this but I think you keep losing the Tarpon because you don’t bow when they jump. It could also be the fact that they are tarpon and they are hard to hook as well. Anyways awesome video man! So hyped for this video series!
So, for as long as I’ve been a fan and a follower, I always get excited when RUclips notifies me of your newest post. You truly let us feel the experiences as if we’re along for the ride. This was a great day for you...sunshine and quiet waters and lots of fishy business. Thanks as always Rich! State safe and as always LTF...FTL👊🏼
Got into fishing with kayak . Then wanted to follow kayak videos. Yours are great. It’s a great idea to fish different area for us viewers. Like Murielle’s inlet. Thanks Bruce Allen
Gotta get you over to our 30A- Destin area -- when you see the tarpon jump push the rod down towards the fish to give it line and it wont pop the hook as easy. Fun times !
I never fished in warm oceanic waters, needless to say, you catch a lot of fish on my bucket list and Tarpon is definitely one of them. Great video and really clear, clean waters!
Wow thanks Kevin for sticking around and for the kind words! Glad to hear you look forward to new uploads! I love to read these comments because in the end of the day it will give me more motivation. Tight Lines until next time 👍🏻
I’m a huge fan... I’m headed to the Keys to fish in a week and I was 100% inspired by your previous videos, I ordered some Vudu Shrimp too 😉. You also were my inspiration to start Kayak fishing. Keep it up.
The difference between he and most, is this guy knows that we are here to do what we love. When that happens, life takes care of itself. Don’t believe the programming! We deserve as much joy, health and happiness as we can take. Peace to you and yours…
Hey man word of advice for jacks, if u grab them and put a finger on each on of those black spots and squeeze it acts like a pressure point and they won’t flop
Was just going to suggest collapsable canvas water buckets to slow the YaK down when your Nantucket sleigh riding. Then you put the peddle in reverse. Such efficient rigs. I always had a problem putting the end of the fight pressure on the big fish. Nothing better than exploring the keys on a yak.
This is one of my favorite kayak fishing RUclips channels. He fishes bait, live bait, artificial lures, and fly fishing. Subscribe so he can keep it going.
Yet to land a tarpon on a kayak. Been pulled around a bunch but they seem to always spit the hook. When they hit the canals where I’m at I’m landing one this year. Epic day keep up the slaying fishing days.
Have to say that Florida is a 10 and cali is a 5 in variety and numbers Even better than MN in my opinion Easy fishing is Tamiami Canal for bass and peacock bass in Spring time. I plan to hit Tampa soon..
I have never personally tarpon fished, but everyone says you have to bow to the king (rod tip down when they jump). May help keep more of them hooked! Then again, you do this for a living
When the tarpon jump “bow to the king” or put the rod tip to the water. It will help with the slack and it will be harder for them to spit the hook. The line will raise when they are about to jump that is when you (bow down) or put the rod tip to the water.
Thanks Angel! Glad to hear 4 more episodes to come! And more long drag screaming reels as the days go on. I’ve gotta fish Cali one of these days so you got me there.
Haha I’ve had a lot of years of practice from standing on slippery wet rocks in rough surf to owning an outback since I was 16. My balance is pretty good and the kayak is like an extension of myself lol 😆
There is absolutely no way to be bored in Florida , fishin, sAlt and fresh, spear fishing for tilapia and barramundi , snakeheads , peacock bass in the sewers lol. pythons in the bathroom , gator , яHogzilla, and now suddenly everyone is an iguana hunter . I’d have the coolest apex predator show. Diddlly gonna bite me lol
Great video! I feel like the mangrove snapper down in the keys are way more aggressive than when you find them in other parts of Florida-rare to get one on artificial up on the gulf coast.
I love me some no name key bridge, possibly my favorite key bridge, hooked a big tarpon there, jumped and snapped my line. And my anchor is still there.
You could try to put the location of those locations, like this place where you started today, I live near the keys and I would like to fish in my kayak in those places. Thanks in advanced
So hyped for these florida vids
Awesome glad to hear!!

You're a way better fisherman than I am but you gotta bow that rod when they jump! Bow to the king!!
Tarpon are the top of my bucket list. Great action.
Nice of you to say where your at! For us that only maybe get to run down there once in a blue moon, it really help to get pointed in the right area. Thanks and Great job.
Been trying to come up with a dream yak trip for my wife and I. These vids with actual locations are awesome!
that first tarpon under the bridge was a nice fish

@@FishAholicTV stoked!

Chills down my spine. Only way to describe that little intro! Great work brotha!
Haha awesome! I change slightly with every new episode so look forward to that. I have so much content!
Team Vudu for the win... LOL
Vudu Shrimps work great in fresh water too, I use them in Lake Erie with great results...
Exciting footage of hunting those little tarpon!
Tarpon are such cool fish aerial acrobats and even the small ones fight with such vigor
This guy is smart for looking the fishing spot. Bravo
Gotta get you over to our 30A- Destin area -- when you see the tarpon jump push the rod down towards the fish to give it line and it wont pop the hook as easy. Fun times !
You've got me jonesing for a keys fishing trip now... i love your vids. Subscribed for sure.
Super pumped about these keys vids. Ill be down in marathon at the end of next week.
Good stuff Rich. I'm very much looking forward to this series and your time in Florida.
Thanks Brad!! I’m looking forward to hearing you all enjoyed them and are hungry for more!! Tight Lines!
I never fished in warm oceanic waters, needless to say, you catch a lot of fish on my bucket list and Tarpon is definitely one of them. Great video and really clear, clean waters!
Tarpon's are so much fun to fish , the snappers as well.
Love watching his dude. Watching from Southern California
Awesome thanks Alex for tuning in! It amazes me when a viewer mentions where they’re watching from 🤙🏻
Enjoy this series every year!!
Another great video Rich!!! The keys are one of my favorite places ever!!!!

Man your drone is a game changer! You qualify of footage is great 👍! Tight lines 🎣
Just back from Cedar Key where we were skunked for a week due to a cold spell. Wish we had gone further south like you. Best of luck.

Love these exploring type videos! So sick.
That was a great video!! I look forward to the others :)
Awesome thanks! Glad to hear!!

Killer video! It was great meeting you today, hope you found a few fish!
Hey Cade yeah likewise 👍🏻. I found some fish yesterday but nothing crazy. Just enough to keep a couple for the table and have a few fish tacos haha.
The intro is fire and good video
I think Florida has some of the best fishing in the country! I hope to go some day and do some fishing.
Have to say that Florida is a 10 and cali is a 5 in variety and numbers
Even better than MN in my opinion
Easy fishing is Tamiami Canal for bass and peacock bass in Spring time.
I plan to hit Tampa soon..
Keep em comin! When you were landing that tarpon, I was anticipating a shark attack!
Next episode!! Gotta tease a little right 🤷🏻♂️. Otherwise why come back hahaha.
Great start
Thanks Pavel! Gets better as the days go on 👍🏻
9:47 You know you're a true fisherman when your reflexes are that good to block a lure while standing in a kayak without batting an eye.
Haha tbh it was so hot in that little sheltered area I wouldn’t have cared much if I fell in 😆
Fishing paradise! Thanks for sharing your experience.
Rich great vid man as usual
Some people call the snook robalo while the snapper or grouper is called pargo last but not least el Tiburon also called shark
Love the florida videos. Keep em comin
Thanks Anthony I’ll try my best 🤙🏻
I have never personally tarpon fished, but everyone says you have to bow to the king (rod tip down when they jump). May help keep more of them hooked! Then again, you do this for a living

I enjoyed that one Rich, looking forward to more 👍🎣
Great video bro! Dang it, now I'm starting to think about the keys, Just what I need, another bucket list destination!
Thanks bro! Haha sorry 🤷🏻♂️. You definitely should got when it’s convenient though. So much water to fish...
Ballsy bringing a certate out in the kayak dude! I would be paranoid about something happening to it lol
Haha yeah I take chances I shouldn’t. I’ve lost my van Staal before but then dove down 25ft and got it. Never brought that in the kayak again 👍🏻
@@FishAholicTV have you tried the Vanford yet?
Awesome videos at always dude! Stoked on the Keys Series. Keeping us Californians jealous haha 🤙
Thanks Angel! Glad to hear 4 more episodes to come! And more long drag screaming reels as the days go on. I’ve gotta fish Cali one of these days so you got me there.
So hyped for this series🔥
Glad to hear Michael!!
You have some impressive balance standing on the outback Rich. I'm alittle afraid to do on my hobie and lose my stuff lol
Haha I’ve had a lot of years of practice from standing on slippery wet rocks in rough surf to owning an outback since I was 16. My balance is pretty good and the kayak is like an extension of myself lol 😆
Great video. Thanks
I love the fishing experience series!
bout time, gotta pull out that vudu shrimp again

Awsome vid! I’m about to get out on my hobie for the first time since winter
Those snappers looked delicious
The underwater scene was a surprise and it was fire … great content
Beautiful content man. Have you seen any diamondback terrapins while out there?
Rich your intro was sick................
Amazing video very beautiful 🤩
where can i get the finback shads? and what size jig head should i use?
Love the content brother!
Thats a very nice video . I apsolutly love your fishing videos . but if evry tarpon goes away why you arent jousing triple hooks ?🙃
I love me some no name key bridge, possibly my favorite key bridge, hooked a big tarpon there, jumped and snapped my line.
And my anchor is still there.
Haha sounds about right. But sounds like it was a good outing either way 👍🏻
@@FishAholicTV wana get real close to a tarpon, go to Robbie's and hand feed the tarpon. It was way more fun than I'd thought it would be.
Awesome video mate
Love this video. Tarpon is such a beautiful fish. What jog head are you using on the fin back shad?
So good man!
This serie is going to be 🔥🔥🔥
That is some good fun!
Gets better as the days go on 😏
Great watch. Are tarpon nice to eat?.
Awesome channel bro keep it up!
You should fish mosquito lagoon for gator trout…they’re massive
What’s a good setup for jack crevalle
Always remember to bow to the king
Keep up the good work
Your casting is great though. Nice job.
Gotta 'bow to the king' when they jump..tarpon are nicknamed 'silver king' at least where i live..
Great video! What kind of shoes are you wearing? My husband is looking for water/wading shoes. Thanks!
I need to go catch one of them fish !
How can you resist the temptation to get out and wade fish in the shallows?
Well some of the bottom is like a grassy sandy/muddy bottom and you sink in pretty quick. But on day three I do a bunch of flats fishing for Bones.
Great footage Rich!!! Love it when they jump, never gets old 😄
Thanks Chuck! Yeah they always will try and reach for the sky haha.
This was awesome!
Thanks Zack!! 🤙🏻
I’m going to the keys for spring break what would your top 5 baits that aren’t live bait for tarpon and snook ?
You could try to put the location of those locations, like this place where you started today, I live near the keys and I would like to fish in my kayak in those places. Thanks in advanced
Amazing content dude
when is the darkmatter going to be available?
