The second tarpon is making me wandering what really happened. The leader looks like having a few inches frayed. Is that correct? If so it doesn’t make sense. It was a new leader. Do you believe that fighting too hard wouldn’t frail it?

I mean you had that for sometime i’m sure you could use a new one like a 360 one and you could get sponsored by them. Seems like every-time you turn around your fixing something on it. Just saying

Really interested in the hook and mold you used to make the jig. I also make my own jigs a have a problem with hooks opening on larger striper. Any help with what you use would be appreciated.

That was awesome Rich! Don’t worry about that second tarpon, it was super windy and the current was ripping good. 1 for 2 on a kayak under those conditions is pretty amazing in my opinion.
