At 17:24 when you threw the snapper back, that tarpon was watching you!
I was shocked barely anyone is saying anything about it in the comments!
I came to see if anyone had mentioned that right when I saw it.
Saw that too. Went straight to the comments 😂
Rich, did you notice at 17:24 in the vid when you threw the snapper back there was either a tarpon or snook 2 feet from the boat waiting for a handout, lol.
Be careful about the snapper rules, as there is an aggregate bag limit for snapper, which consist of a limit of 10 fish per person of certain snapper species per day. So given you get a limit of mangroves, you can no longer get 10 schoolmaster, as that will exceed the aggregate bag limit. FISH ON!!👍
Great video as always, Rich. That was the snapper haven of all locations. Thanks for sharing and letting us ride along.
Great video! You were smashin em! Thanks for taking us along on your adventures! #FishAholicFishing rocks!!
When I was a lad of late teens and early twenties, I used to go night fishing on the party boats. It was usually a four hour pull. Occasionally, we would get skunked and had to ask the skipper to drift over the reefs for vermillion snapper(chicken snapper). We would catch a million of them. I have fond memories of those nights and very tasty I might add.😃
Nice job. I live in summerland Key. What a nice day. 👍👍👍
Love your attitude - work hard and have fun. Thanks for taking us along.
Make your way over to the gulf soon! I live on a private island just north of boca grande. Plenty of different areas to take the yak like the trestles, bridges, miles of mangroves and docks etc.
lol i live next to boca too sounds like we needa fish lol
@@abyssal8478 I’m out on LGI
Nice catch Rich, leaving for the Keys on Friday, can't wait to catch em up!
Great fish Hope I catch some someday
Had a nice cuda bite this week in Bermuda. Always nice to see you using some of the same lures I've tried!!
Bro you live the life man i know theres more we don’t see but ideal life forsuree man keep up the fishing love watching your videos
Another cool one mate! Thanks a lot!
Rich go back and watch the video at 17:20 where you release the Mangrove Snapper. It looks like a fish is waiting for you to release it? Either that or some weird glare?? If you are still there give me a shout and I have a good spot for catching smaller tarpon under the mangroves. Also you should throw those jacks or small cudas on a big rod and fish them live behind the kayak. Amazing how big cudas love to eat little cudas.
Great Vid Richie. That soft shrimp bait got you lots of action for sure. When something is working.... Just don't take it off. :-)
I used to fish that exact line of rocks at Hawks Cay Resort when I Kayak fished. What a great place so many great memories their.
Awesome video can’t wait to do this next time down there🔥🔥
Great video rich keep up the good work
Great fishing video, and beautiful fishing spot ..thanks for sharing .. succes always.. 👍👍🙏
Nice vlog bro I've enjoyed it ! 👍🏼
Nice mister fishing trip🎣👍🏻👍🏻
As always awesome video!
Twice during your vid u threw a fish back on top of a lunker lerkning in the water. Love you content. Keep em coming and congrats on getting married. Been there done that and it's not for me. Traded mine for a boat. Never been happier. Best wishes to you tho.
love the vids keep it up
Your channel is awesome! Right the kind of fishing I would like to do
Second time ... Duck Key? Love it there! Thanks
Sweet fishing! I teally like that Artic cooler. Is it a soft body? I'll have to get one of those. 👍🐟
Thank you, great video again.
Thanks Samuel!! Tight Lines!
Fun trip.
Love watching your videos bro
Thanks so much John!!
Hey, can you go to the Netherlands again?
I really really like seeing people from other countries
Fish in my own country. Specially you because you are one of my favorite fishing youtubers.
Awesome job limiting!
Looks like there was a snook there when you threw the snapper 17:21
Tarpon jumping into a boat?
NO WAY!
Beautiful FLA
Cool vid Rich - knocked em dead this trip. Thanks
Thanks so much!!!
Beautiful view
Hey Rich , if you don’t mind telling us … where did you launch the kayak from ? I myself have been looking for suitable launches around that area ! Hope all is well good luck 👍
At 17:24, when you threw that mango back, what was the large fish silhouette in the water? Tarpon?
Just started following you and enjoying your content. I have a question. I see in your tackle box that your lures look like they have all new hooks. How often do you change them? Mine look bad
Brother at 16:57 did I imagine a shark swam under you? Always love your vids man!
You didn’t imagine that. That was a huge shark trying to eat the glass minnows he threw in the water
I fish in that place with my kayak and it always has a lot of action
Man I wish I could be there fishing with you. I fish by myself a lot because of canoe or kayak fishing isn’t for everyone
Exotic spotnya mancingnya bikin para angler betah 👍🙏💗
So freakin pretty down there. Unreal.
What size hook were you using with the glassminnows when catching the mango snapper
medium size nurse at 16:56 ?? , love your videos and how smooth they are , pls notice me rich!
Hey Denzel! Thanks so much!!
Great video
Do you ever have issues with the drive on your kayak? I've heard several people complain of issues with them. I am considering one of these in the future but I don't want to spend that much on something that does not hold up to normal use. Thank you and thanks for another great video! Those were some stud Snapper!
@brob-zy8zi I have a feel free 11.5 v2 with peddle drive system and 8-Ball beaver tail rudder and love it. I have had it for three seasons now and it has never let me down. If you want to know more about it and my setup, let me know and I can share the details.
@brob-zy8zi. I own four Hobies. I have only ever had a couple of problems. I recently posted a video on my channel where you can see how Hobie handled my problems. It might help answer your question.
Rich I know the mangrove snappers can get quite large. How big can the schoolmaster get? That 13" Mangrove was awesome.
My personal best schoolmaster was 20 inches and aprox 4lbs . I speared it but i heard they get even bigger like 10 lbs+
Another awesome video, Rich! I'd be really interested to see you make a video where you use your top 3-5 confidence baits for a general day on the water. I've been doing really well in the Indian River lagoon in the Brevard area with a 3" swimbait lately. The trout can't get enough.
Do you use any 2 ounce or 3 ounce spoons out there when you’re out on the kayak
Some sexy snappers love it rich looks like a blast that day
what is that pedal system you use for your kayak? been searching and cant find it. can you do a review on your kayak?
Hey rich you should make another kayak flats shark fishing video for that video was awesome!
Hey Devin, sure thing. I’ll keep that in mind the next time I’m heading out on the flats! Tight Lines!
The only thing that tastes better to me than a mangrove snapper is a tripple tail. Delicious bit of them
good after noon Rich this is MrBear hudson fl. i have a ? for you i just perchesd 4 of the 3Dinshore pencil, popper 135F and im going to go with VMC inline hooks , would like to no with the size of the trebal hooks should i use the size 3 or 4s. realy would like your imfo about this thanks a lot.
That was even quicker than Bluegill fishing.
What fishing kayak do you use?
YEAH BUDDY 🤙🤙🤙
I would love to see you cook them fish afterwards
where’s this luanch at
Did you say 50lbs or 15lbs braid on that 4000 certate?
Top knock
17:24 barracuda sitting by the kayak?
Did anyone notice the monster snook on minute 17:24?? When he turned back that snapper???
actually a tarpoon
17:36 two giant tarpon right under your boat. hopefully tarpon.
Big fish at 17:25 waiting under kayak !!
at 17:24, there is something big under the boat!!!!
What’s the difference between a spinning rod and baitcaster? Btw love your vids!!!
If you type that question into Google you would get a really good answer. Briefly, a spinning reel hangs below the rod and the spool is parallel with the rod. Whereas, a baitcaster reel sits on top of the rod and the spool is perpendicular to the rod.
@@MikeLinley74 thanks do you think I should have both just in case I go somewhere?
@@OMG_thats_random_OG Nah. A spinning reel is usually seen as better for a beginner.
@@MikeLinley74 ok thanks
You should come to ocean city Maryland and fish
Don't forget snapper have an aggregate of 10! Fish rules apps good for regulati regulations
Do you do charters? If i drove home and and brought my kayak could we go out fishing. I’ll pay? Seems all of you i follow no longer charter
Where exactly are you fishing. Is there a name for the area? Or the spot you are at?
I believe that is duck key just north of marathon
Rich you might wanna blur our the fish bleeding bc RUclips will demonetize ur vid but I love ur vids
One of the best snapper spots in the keys is by where you are fishing I can Dm you the spot
🎣🤙🏼
Is that a cuda or tarpon circling your yak
barracuda
I want to see you fishing for squid
that was duck key wasn't it?
Отличная рыбал и природа 👌💥👍
WHEN IS THE MONTAUK STRIPERS COMING BACK🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
You shouldn't start your videos out with a stupid add
