Piece of advice, don't set your circle hooks. They're self-setting, so when you get a bite don't yank back like you normally do, instead reel extremely fast for a few seconds until you feel the hook pull itself into the corner of the fish's mouth. I used to set circle hooks too until someone thought me this, and ever since I have never missed a fish on a circle hook.
For bait fishing, try size 10 trout hooks and a super small bobber. No weight and open bell are a must .You have to let them take it like a bass on bed. Thanks for the videos!
Better than that, find fly tying hooks since they go waaaayyy smaller, I use a size 16 for bait fishing and compared to my buddies using 10s even I double the bait. Worm also fulllly covers the baby hooks so everything eats without question(high pressure spots)
For the night crawlers, turn the container upside down (with the lid on of course). They will dig down to the bottom of any container they're in so when you flip it right side up all the night crawlers will be at the top of your container making them easily accessible.
Couple tips that work for me with live bluegill for big bass: - circle or octopus hook 2/0, no bigger - snell knot for better hookup ratio - hooked behind dorsal fin 1/4-1/2” into body - use small party balloon very lightly inflated as bobber. Bait lasts longer and they don’t give out. More action - give ~10 count before setting hook. They rarely spit it so wait longer. They are trying to eat head first so need to get it positioned right then pull snelled circle hook from side swinging hookset and it’ll get side of mouth. You want hook to rip out of bait easily and stay pinned in bass. Harder with big heavy gauge circle, hence why going a bit smaller on hook size Good luck!
Any video where you include Tera is a good video and worth watching. She's a very good fishing partner, she holds her own and fishes as well as any guy you take along. I think more videos with er wether there or any other body of water would be amazing
ive been fishing once and loved it, im trying to get into it more but im not sure how, ive got a rinky dinky beginner pole and don’t have enough money to get a new one, but ive already caught 14 inch bass on it for my first time, and im starting to find fishing so fun
For live and cut bait I always use a 8/0 circle hooks, really allows the hook to set deep in their mouth and they catch all different sizes of fish. Another thing I noticed was that you were setting your circle hooks, me personally I just let my line get tight and just lift the rod up and reel. Love all the videos man, i learned to bass fish watching your videos, and I’ve been bass fishing for 7 years. Tight lines brotha
If you want to maybe catch more bluegill try covering the hook with the worm you will catch way more bluegill because the are kinda scared of the hook if they see it
Tip for the worms: I’ve fished my whole life and for blue gill I thread the worm on like a Texas rig but keep it going all the way to where u can’t see any of the hook try it out and let me know what happens love your content man keep going. 👍 ❤️
Yup!! That’s how my worm is put on, too. Makes the fish have to work for it a bit more and usually makes them just grab onto the hook versus nibbling all your worm off.
Never fished for bass with live bait but when fishing for catfish with live bait and using circle hooks I have noticed it’s harder for a big hook set but to let them just take i”the bait and hook themselves. I’d use J hooks if you are trying for a big hook set!
Recently I’ve been catching bluegill on apple snails. Just pick some out of the water , crack em open and use some of the leathery muscle stuff. Gets crazy bites and stays on the hook a lot better than a worm.
The hook size you were using works completely fine, I usually have a better bite rate when I use the full red worm and work it on the whole hook (hides the hook and the worm is more active)
Hi, your videos are amazing! Your survival skills are admirable. I learned a lot from your video and will definitely apply it next time I go on a picnic. Looking forward to your next video!
When you feel a bite, this will increase success rates. 1. Reel slack out of line 2. Slowly lift rod tip 3. Reel slowly until max tension 4. Catch fish
Take the red worm and feed the center of it on the hook, basically covering the hook with worm. For bluegill and bass, when it's that hot cast in the shade. Also, to keep the bluegill from running so much, use more weight and you can use a balloon for a bobber
To hook the worms I usually place the hook through the open end of the worm and then come out where there's a small worm tail. It makes the worm stay on straight and then slide up when you get a fish and you don't lose your worm as quickly. Just rehook the end when it comes loose.
When putting nightcrawlers on you should always try to keep the bait as close to the hook as possible so that the bluegill can't pull the bait off without biting the hook.
You certainly don't need that much worm for Bluegill. They will go for the smallest of pieces. Just let them run off and reel, don't yank. Love the content!
I'd suggest popping the rod a little bit more when setting the hook. I struggled a lot with getting my hook set right when they were running but putting a bit more of a quick pop made the difference.
Tip to catch more fish when getting these type of bites is to put your rods in rod holders and let the circle hook and the bend of the rod do the hook setting. Then reel down too fully set it and then fight the fish. If you wanna hook set then use a J hook.
Those green wigglers work better than red worms. I love to find those to fish with but i dont find them often in stores. They actually glow some under water lol
Best bluegill/panfish bait I used all the time as a kid that was super cheap was mixing cornstarch and water until it’s a semi firm dough that you can handle without it sticking to your hands then you add a whooooole lot of garlic power to it you are guaranteed to get slammed all day, I’d love to see you try it out
I've fly lined many 3 to 4 inch baby bas to hook up multiple double digit bass,!! Better than fly lining 1.5 to 2 in (candy bait) crawdads! Keep on fishing, best of luck to you.
The way that I rig a worm is go straight through the head and then just chuck them up the hook and then leave the last little bit of tail just hanging, so it attracts the bluegill and it’s easier to set the hook.
You'll have to go up to the UP and do some bluegill fishing. The fight they put up is insane and the average size of them of the lake I fish on are 8" and above
For the worms one thing I do is I hook it at the end and slide it up the hook until the worm is around it and the tip of the hook is showing. It makes it harder for them to steal your worm.
I know this is a bass channel but I would love to see one for catfish with bluegills. A tip that I use to put worms on for bluegills is just thread the worm the whole length of it and leave the tip of the worm hanging off just a little.
Bro fishing for big bass with baby bass is the best thing ever especially when bass are spawning and the big bass are waiting on the edge of the shallows for the babies
Try you some Shiners for big bass one time . After the bomber goes under , we always counted one thousand one , two one thousand three one thousand then set the hook ! Just have to watch the bomber .
I'd love to see a video with you guys just using a small piece of bread for catching bluegill. just roll it to around the size of a BB and put it on the tip of the hook. It's all I ever use to catch bluegill for live bait.
I’d suggest using rod holders when you set out multiple rods. I bought the KTB TV bait caster and I’d hate to loose it !!! I love the combo and the videos 🎣🎣🎣
we always used hot dogs to catch bluegill it's cheap and you don't have to worry about them dying just cut a small chunk just enough to cover the tip and barb of the hook works everytime.
For bait fish, I put legit the smallest piece of worm on there right at the tip of hook. I let line out to where I can just set the hook in the water and usually they bite and set themselves on
What live bait video should we film next?! 🔥
Love your content keep up the good work
You guys should use shad
Bass fishing pls you help me learn to fish
Using Minnow rare type of fish
Live crawdad would be sick

I miss fish all the time but they’re mostly gar on circle hooks
Exactly
Great Advice brother 👍 🙏
My grandpa is a fishing guide, he always tells me this
Thanks for the advise man

Was about to comment this always get em like that

So true
Take one end of the worm and try and put it all the way through and try not to have it stick out it make is harder for them to take the worm off
Any video where you include Tera is a good video and worth watching. She's a very good fishing partner, she holds her own and fishes as well as any guy you take along. I think more videos with er wether there or any other body of water would be amazing

ruclips.net/video/IyqQt48NY5E/видео.html This channel is for the every once in a while fisherman. Thanks
Yes. Try small bass for big bass. Do a challenge baby bass vs bluegill. Also, I like Tara's suggestion! Setup a tank at home and watch them grow!
Hell yeah, giving joyners corner some love. Favorite gas station tackle shop
Do you happen to know where that pond is? It don’t look like it’s in the landings, maybe on the islands?
These live bait videos are the most fun to watch
I’m someone that doesn’t like fishing and knows nothing about it, but I watch these videos because I like seeing that fish that can be caught
What

So true...they are very skittish of hooks
Appreciate your support of local businesses, when you travel. Also enjoyed seeing Tara, kicking your bass, with the six pounder.😂

me too, they dont rip it off as much either
Threading the worm is de wey
Yup!! That’s how my worm is put on, too. Makes the fish have to work for it a bit more and usually makes them just grab onto the hook versus nibbling all your worm off.
Fish on Anglers!
Usually bass bite anything that can fit in their mouth, so yes, you should try little bluegill😮
Best RUclipsr for real

A little tip for live fish as bait, hook it in the back in front of the dorsel not behind it.
Let the little bass get bigger for sure! 👍🏼👍🏼
Noah, thanks for getting me in the fishing. I’m definitely going to try this technique out and those are some huge bass. Good job.😅
He helped me as well
Recently I’ve been catching bluegill on apple snails. Just pick some out of the water , crack em open and use some of the leathery muscle stuff. Gets crazy bites and stays on the hook a lot better than a worm.
My 7 year old recognized the store because that’s also our local bait stop… he watches your channel all the time hahaha.
When Tera did the little rascals reference I HAD to sub😌😂 10:50
I like it when you texted she put it on the box and you don’t let it go. I will do that too. That’s awesome.
You should do a live bait video of big catfish. Love this channel!!
The hook size you were using works completely fine, I usually have a better bite rate when I use the full red worm and work it on the whole hook (hides the hook and the worm is more active)
Recently getting into fishing with my wife and children.
Very helpful information and entertaining as well.
Subscribed.
Does your Mach smash make a whining noise when you reel it in fast like mine?
Noah with another banger, let’s goooooo
Favorite RUclipsr
Tara’s “I gotta bluegill, I gotta bluegill, I gotta bluegill hey hey hey” just cracked me up 🤣
Hell yeah someone that finally likes the reel handle on the left side
I appreciate the effort to make this livebait video.
Hi, your videos are amazing! Your survival skills are admirable. I learned a lot from your video and will definitely apply it next time I go on a picnic. Looking forward to your next video!
Couple that fishes together stays together!!!
When you feel a bite, this will increase success rates.

for the worm i like to slide it on like a ned rig but insted of having a little bit out slide it on all the way

How can you tell what fish are biting at when you get there cause I know what fish like what baits and what not but I don’t always get bites
your the best not just fishing but best youtuber ive ever watched

For the bluegill fishing I would use a little more worm and when you rig the worm leave 1/2-3/4 of the worm off the hook to wiggle around
I'd suggest popping the rod a little bit more when setting the hook. I struggled a lot with getting my hook set right when they were running but putting a bit more of a quick pop made the difference.

I love fishing for bass!!!!!
i love when you live bait fish
love these vids you should do more
and do redfish fishing
I would recommend a live bait hook. Its moreso a wide gap J hooks vs Circle hooks. For the J hooks you need a big hook set!
Have been itching for another video like this🔥
I've fly lined many 3 to 4 inch baby bas to hook up multiple double digit bass,!! Better than fly lining 1.5 to 2 in (candy bait) crawdads! Keep on fishing, best of luck to you.
YESSIR 💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾 Keep Going Bro You Give Me Motivation 🎥🔥💯‼️
You the goat Noah you catch giants man keep it up you deserve more love
Yo you need to do some more tournament fishing!!
The way that I rig a worm is go straight through the head and then just chuck them up the hook and then leave the last little bit of tail just hanging, so it attracts the bluegill and it’s easier to set the hook.
Nice work Noah tour videos always impress me
i love your live bait videos!
Bro he’s the best fishing RUclipsr and he makes me watch him everyday
i love the live bait vids
Don’t hook set with the circle hooks. they hook themselves. setting it pullls it right out of its mouth. love the vids
Exactly
3:46 Justice for Conner I put the handle on the right side too
Love these live bait vids
Cut the worm in half then wrapped around the hook then I would use a little inflator and pump air into it that’s how i usually catch bluegill
Nice edit on that second bass…😎
i love live bait videos you should do live crawl fish next
I'd love to see a video with crab cut bait and some shrimp that would be so dope❤

What size splitshot do you (y'all) use for bait fishing?
Bro fishing for big bass with baby bass is the best thing ever especially when bass are spawning and the big bass are waiting on the edge of the shallows for the babies
You got me hype, live bait fishing. I do this alot
Thats a might fine fishing partner i would fish everyday of the week and twice on sunday if i had one like that 😂 keep kicking Bass brother
Awesome freaking channel Noah. Let's go 👊
With worms, you can put the lid on and set it upside down so it’s easy to grab them when you turn it right side up to get one out.
You should use a baby bass for big bass that would be bad ass
I think Y’all should do another live bait cat-fishing video like the one on the dock that video was fire!
Try you some Shiners for big bass one time . After the bomber goes under , we always counted one thousand one , two one thousand three one thousand then set the hook ! Just have to watch the bomber .

Already know it ganna be a banger
VIDEO SUGGESTION: Take one of those mystery bass tackle boxes and see who can catch a fish on each lure first. 🤷🏽♂️
you should definitely river fish at a dam or something with live bait . I love doing it up in PA
Love your videos!!! Do you find it more challenging to set the hook on this style of fishing compared to when you use lures, minnows etc....?
Mustad sells very very small circle hooks. Theyd be perfect for when youre catching those bluegill
I’d suggest using rod holders when you set out multiple rods. I bought the KTB TV bait caster and I’d hate to loose it !!! I love the combo and the videos 🎣🎣🎣
now after finding your channel my favorite fish to catch is bass
we always used hot dogs to catch bluegill it's cheap and you don't have to worry about them dying just cut a small chunk just enough to cover the tip and barb of the hook works everytime.
