hahaha oh really? Well thank you so much for taking the time to watch! Some people like the long content, and some people don't. But as long as a few do that is all that matters to me!
Being grateful brings great things. You are living the dream and take the time to be thankful for it and step away from the hard work to appreciate it. Thats the key to life.
Great vid as always Rich. If that is a titanium wedding ring please remember it is difficult to cut off so if you ever injure your left hand pull your ring off immediately.
Great villa and another exceptional video! I've always loved exploring new waters. There was always an anticipation that accompanied my exploration, and that always kept things interesting-even when I did more fishing than catching. That yellowtail on the first day was a beauty, but the second day groupers stole the show! 😉♥
I love the kayak adventures... I love the bridge adventures too... I'd like to see some content on what you do after you fish as far as taking care of your reals
Hahaha yeah these waters are plentiful with sharks. Many say it is an over population. But idk. I've always been told it is a sign of a healthy ecosystem. But we all have days out there when most fish get eaten by sharks on the way up. Which is sad.
I met you last weekend at the Stuart causeway! I would love to join you on an offshore fishing trip here in Stuart if you’re interested! I got the water out of my fuel 🤣
hey man, nice glad to hear you got that handled!! Shoot me an email and we can try a trip. Fished every day this week. Monday and Tuesday I was able to sneak offshore. But the rest of the week inshore and it is starting to heat up!
Rich do you know what that bubble curtain was for between the marina you were staying in and the ocean/bay? thanks for another great video, i hope Karina gets her visa situation sorted soon!
Another really fun video Rich. I’m wondering do you do anything different when in deeper water regarding preventing losing a bunch of gear, if you actually capsized. Big boat goes by not paying attention for example. The pedals unit or electric motor would be a big loss?
Yes, I do have a leash attached to my peddles and or electric motor when it is stored behind me. I've also practiced swimming, flipping the kayak back over, and climbing back in. I think no person should kayak offshore alone or kayak fish in the ocean without practicing this technique in a controlled environment.
U had 150 yards of line out. Plenty of line for that fish to swim down to the bottom in a hurry. Even with u pulling on him. Good stuff man! Really love watching! Ive learned so much over the years!
You know, I like the tip action for jigging, also so I can easily reach around the bow when fighting a fish. I also like the extra length to cast a little further. When I'm in the kayak I can only bring 2 to 4 rods comfortably. So I like to bring functional equipment to save space. On the boat I can bring 10 or 15 rods so I may bring many different action and length spinning and casting rods.
TBH I do not know the name of it. I just fished the nearest bridge I could kayak too and that was my first time there. That is what is great about the keys. Every bridge is fishable and has fish. Just time the tide and and time of day and you may catch some nice fish. Good luck out there and check out Islamorada or Lower Matecumbe Key
A couple of things…you should had brought the wife down with you… next ..I’m glad you are enjoying your accommodation….I looked into make reservations there…4 nights was $1200.00 bucks….glad you can afford it…looks like some good fishing…😊
Hmmm, I do not know. You can buy the rod from J and H Tackle and if you email them you may be able to see if they will ship to Africa. Here is the link to the rod Dark matter 7'6" fishaholic MF spin rod bit.ly/4gse803 and here is there contact page jandh.com/pages/contact Let me know how it goes. Tight Lines
Thanks for watching. The end of the video is non-stop catching. Incase you missed that. I try to show the full experience. The lows and the highs. It keeps it realistic. Tight Lines!
Dear Rich, it's me your mother. I don't like when you are far out there. Better stay in the docks. Or come back to Minnesota where we have so many lakes.
Yes, over a certain size you aren't supposed too. But Now there actually is a lottery regulation and slot size to keep a juvenile Goliath grouper. March 1st to May 31st you can keep a goliath grouper 24-36". So I believe the law changed once this small season started. Also in these waters you really don't want to hold a small fish over the side of the boat for to long or a shark will find it. In addition, the last grouper I caught and removed from the water you can see FWC cruise by in their boat. They watched me fight and catch the fish and didn't say or do anything.
@ ahh. Thanks for the clarification. Makes sense though, I’d love to keep a Goliath I hear from older guys they make a good steak. I was not 100% sure but know how the internet can find folks and they get into some sort of trouble with FWC. Good stuff man. Appreciate your reply. Keep up the good content.
Sharks sharks sharks. Watch these videos ruclips.net/user/shortsKfoWy-I-1tc?si=4_n215QDDkCXgQbl ruclips.net/video/_m4mWwmd1dM/видео.htmlsi=JPC_qDi6WTUM9LSk Then you would see why it is better for the fish and for your hands to take it out of the water to unhook it, and then release it.
It's not easy for a RUclips video to hold my interest for an hour straight. You did. Thanks for sharing.

Thank you rich for giving us some great footage during a very boring off season for us in the north east.
You the man! Just poured my sunday morning coffee! Perfect timing again!
Yeahh lol im in flamingo right now got a couple nice ones
Let's go, Rich!
Rich, can you tell me what video it was when the shark came up and ate, what I believe was a grouper, and you needed to take a break after?
Those little groupers are strawberry groupers/ rockhinds! They don’t get too big but are sopposed to be really good eating 4 per person year round.
Let’s go
I dunno man that looks like only 4 miles out lol
Another great video
Great vid as always Rich. If that is a titanium wedding ring please remember it is difficult to cut off so if you ever injure your left hand pull your ring off immediately.
Thanks so much!! It is just a silicone ring!

Thanks for the great content and adventure.

Good morning Rich!! A bad day in the Keys is better than a good day just about anywhere else brother.
Thanks so much for watching!! Day 2 was pretty good! I was happy with the few miles and way more fish hahaha.

Yeah that fish didn't hesitate to hit the bottom.
What’s your reasoning on using the 7ft6 rod a lot on the kayak. Love the vids, plz inform me Mr Rich

I like the reels. They are very nice.
Your videos are the benchmark of quality on RUclips. Thank you for your hard work and professionalism!🦎🏡🏀

hahahaha never been to Minnesota mom.
I thought you weren’t supposed to take goliaths out of the water?

You don't need to take the fish out of the water to show it.
You’re so sensitive, the fish will be fine
