It's because the reaction was a sponsored video. It's part of the contract when you accept paid sponsorships. I agree, though. Internet Historian's ads are sometimes the best part of the video.

A large portion of that "meteorite dust" is actually vaporized vehicle brake pads and disks cast out into the environment. Though a large portion is still meteorite dust. You can tell because the brake material won't have the "Shock crystals" inside it's particles. The meteorite dust will be denser and will have shock crystals that were formed during re-entry.

22:50 tbf we do have a thing in space that has "the best of humanity" but the chances of that hitting something/someone that could interpret it (within a reasonable amount of years) is naturally nearly 0 because of the size of the universe.
