Gotta remember, the two guns could only be shot once at this time, so if the gunshots don't kill em the poison will
oh yeah, that does make sense.
I still have the Confetti “webbing” that Spider-man shoots over the crowd in that play. The set pieces were far better than the play itself. But , the seats were nice ,center stage third row so we had a lot of aerial fights right above us resulting in a lot of confetti blasts. So it was a fun evening even if there were better productions we could have gone to.
ngl I still wish I'd been able to see it
the Aquiles x Patrocles thing comes from Tumblr and Wattpad which grew up into a whole another cna of worms.
All historical accounts and most historians in the world show Aquilles and Patrocles , as fighting together and becoming close friends . This is in similar fashion as Arthur and Lancelot or for a more ancient story: Gilgamesh and Enkidu
40:20 So the golden apple was the very begining of the Iliad, Eris (godess of strife) wasn't invited to a wedding so she created a golden apple and threw it in the wedding labeled "for the fairest one", Aphrodite, Hera and Athena told Paris (prince of Troy) to chose between them, Aphrodite bribed Paris with Helena, wich caused the war.
YES! I knew it was related to the Trojan war I just couldn't remember all the details. Thank you!
I think she was remembering the story of Paris and the Golden apple. That is why Aphrodite took a liking to Troy and why Hera hated it (among other reasons since Hera literally is referred to b the epithet "Furor", Latin for Fury/wrath, in the Aeneid and Illiad (in Greek Menin). A bit more of Aphrodite and Troy, her son was living in Troy! His name was Aeneas, the name sake of the Aeneid, so she def had some reasons aside from Paris just thinking she was the most beautiful to take a shine to Troy. I also find it interesting the both the Illiad and Aeneid begin with the word Wrath/Fury. It is interesting the parallels the two Epic's share.
Macbeth isn't really cursed, it gained a dark reputation because when accidents (during any other plays) happened in the past the theatre would put on the play Macbeth because it is always popular, so it became associated with accidents
nope, it's 100% cursed

Going to see BeetleJuice in musical? Alex Brightman Played as BeetleJuice in the 2019 musical so i don't know if it's going to be the same guy. But Alex is also voice of Fizzarolli in Helluva Boss. Not much of him in season one, but season two has several dedicated episodes to Fizzarolli.
oh yeah, I'm well up on Helluva Boss. I've been thoroughly enjoying this season.
Lauren, your hair looks fantastic.

No disrespect to the other lovely people at Chicago Reacts but Lauren is my favorite.
