Thank you for pointing out the fabric types. I refuse to wear synthetic fabrics since I live in the desert and don't want to die so I am leaning into the art-school-teacher-in-her-60s-that-grew-up-on-a-commune-and-learned-how-to-weave-her-own-clothing-from-flax vibe.
Unfortunately, that means I dont get to wear chicken dresses or monastic robes from ASOS.

Mattress tip to make your new one last even longer for you!: every 3-4 months, change its position. First, turn it 180 degrees. Then flip, then turn 180 again. Repeat to keep it on a cycle so your "spot" depression is evenly dispersed over time. :) I worked at a hotel for a while and "mattress flip day" was hell but I suppose they knew what was up lol
Edit: I've been doing this since I worked there about 2 years ago and definitely notice a difference! It's so refreshing to basically reset your mattress every few months

luv u queen thank you for the new video !!! never get tired of these !!! when I was a kid, me and my mom would go window shopping a lot and the majority of the time was spent going "wow this shirt looks AWFUL" LMAO which I think is the funnest part of window shopping.

I think I'm most upset at the incredibly cheap fabric of all of the pieces. I feel like even the 'cute' pieces are ruined bc of that shiny thin bs. but anyway this was hilarious ❤❤❤

4:50 loving this, crazily enough. model kills it and i think i could pull it off lmao. reminds me of a dress i had that was in a 60s minidress shape with a bit more of a tailored waist, covered in rose gold sequins. got rid of it cuz i lost some weight and it no longer fit and i felt someone else deserved to feel so fabulous

the blue ruched dress reminds me of a high school theater stage curtain like if it was paired with some gold accessories it would look like my school's auditorium

I had the same thing happen with my mattress recently! Had to get a new one ‘cause I slept on the old one every day for 10 years, in the same spot, so it was kinda rancid. My mother still blamed the fact that I eat on my bed sometimes (even though I’m super careful and have a quilt-bed cover), and not its age :’)

I grew up in extremely rural snake handler Pentecostal commune country, deep south Louisiana, and that checkered dress looks EXACTLY like the kind 16 year old girls would wear to their "country weddings" to their second cousins in the bayou. The women would spend all day making it, and by sundown the girl must have her mind made up about whether or not Jesus wanted her accept the proposal, if she went to him with dinner that night wearing her new dress that was a yes. I really, really wish I was fucking kidding, and yes I am deeply ashamed of my own roots, but that dress still looks like it was made specifically for a bayou wedding between two cousins.

I LOVE the clown dress, but not as a dress! Like... Maybe a set with swooshy pants and too many accessories?
Also I'm 100% with you on the whimsigothic thing, I was always so enamoured with celestial/magical prints and doodads as a kid and I never grew out of it 😭
