I have a fun story when I was still buying Halloween costumes. When I became an adult, I had full control over what I wanted to wear finally. I was curious about a sexy costume, never wore them for obvious reasons as a teenager because duh and parents would never allow it. I turned 18, left for school and went to my first Halloween party in college. I spent a good 10 minutes staring at the wall of costume choices as provided by Party City and I came to the conclusion after really looking at the offerings (this was before Fashion Nova or any of those online sellers where really big like they are now) that sexy costumes are just...ugly and make no sense. Like a sexy vampire and a regular vampire made NO sense. They are both seductive that's the thing but one looked like a gothic inspired dress and the other was just underwear??? I was like screw this and went as a grim reaper. Now I just make my own stuff cause why not. Its 2021, everyone is inside making new hobbies. I'm just making stuff now.

I would like to briefly return to those ten seconds of my life where I didn't realise that sexy dexter from the eponymous laboratory costume wasn't, in fact, a slightly weird sexy mad scientist look. In those blissful moments, I prepared myself to give the advice that actually the way to make a sexy mad scientist costume is to just wear whatever (with a lab coat on top). If they're not willing to engage in scientific curiosity about what's under your costume they don't deserve sexy mad scientist
or you could wear lingerie with a lab coat on top the important thing is that you wear just a normal lab coat so you freeze a little less and have pockets for candy

Hi! I wore a mime costume last year. Not because I particularly like the artform, I just found awesome black and white high waisted pants in my local charity shop. I wore some awesome makeup and it was a lot of fun.
