NEW Nissan Navara ST-X 2021 Review | Tested both ON and OFF-ROAD! | Is this better than a D-MAX?

- The 2021 Nissan Navara has been refreshed with new features both on the inside and outside. This is the most 'American' looking truck offered in Australia, and has plenty of creature comforts to make it a great daily driver. Is it better than some of the best selling utes, like the Isuzu D-MAX?

A good comprehensive review thanks Cameron - well done! All the tech takes away the real skill of true four wheel driving. Added to 4WD capable reviews I'd like to see the addition of water crossings and crawling up and down rocky jumps ups.
Thank you! Will try and incorporate some water crossings in the future off-road reviews we have coming up!
Awesome review thanks Cameron!
Thank you!
GREAT review.
Thank You.
Thanks for watching!
Perfect video intro
I’ve driven quite a few utes lately. I definitely prefer the Nissan over its competitors. Excellent value for money. I am seriously thinking of getting a fully loaded STX.
Absolutely worthwhile. If you're looking to go off-roading, make sure you grab some tires for that, as these slide around a little in the mud.
Def agree that the looks are great, especially seeing the new warrior. This and izuzu are my favs
great review, i recognize some spots. Would be good to test some practicalities like a pallet in the back, a tow from the boat ramp or steep climb.
Boat ramp possibly a little risky to test. But will be on the search for a very steep climb for the next one. Cheers! - Cameron
Ive got this exact model. Had it for over a year now. Had to take it back to the dealer to have a warranty repair for leaking front diff seal at about 15, 000 km. Otherwise its been reliable so far. Driving normally through the suburbs returns 8.6 L/ 100km and out on the highway I get around 6.8 L/100km. Never found the power lacking for everyday use. I've had 700kg in the tray and had the power to handle it just fine.
I am looking at the Nissan Navara SL 4x4 as my first UTE. Any worthwhile reviews on the SL Model?
Great video I recently purchased same vehicle I would suggest a video on the instrument and features as I am bit clueless with what touched how to operate and what the feature does do eg the radio verses the apple CarPlay however enjoyable video cheers
Thank you for watching!
Can someone tell me what they're like towing weights like a caravan please
Thanks! I'm wandering if there's a second hand like this one? Otherwise this is a good looking Ute👍
Fingers crossed. Possibly chase up the pre-facelift model for a better deal. Doesn't look as good, but relatively the same. Good luck! - Cameron
I’m deciding between this and a dmax. Obviously this is a lot better with a better engine and everything but the dmax has those coil springs.
If you're 4WDing every weekend, the Navara is the pick. If you need to tow and carry a lot, the D-MAX is the pick for that.
Near short good Nissan as first dual car good let see what is looks good
This year there is going to be a Pro 4 X Warrior
Yup! Hopefully we can get our hands on one to see if it’s worth paying nearly $70K for one!
New Nissan Navara is good and it's new rear springs are a big improvement, but it lacks power and it has a dead spot in the auto model between 120 km/h and 140km/h it's also slow 0-100. It also needs reach adjustment on the steering wheel. The auto gear shift looks very dated but its the engine's lack of power where Nissan missed a huge opportunity to gain market share.
I think the lack of power is an industry issue, with manufacturers not having a monetary incentive to create more powerful dual-cabs. Shame really. Hopefully the next generation Ford Ranger Raptor disrupts this issue soon. - Cameron
@@ProductReviewCars the utility's have plenty of power for what they are these days, massive improvement on the past decade.
They aren't bad engines for what they are - but having owned the 3.0L V6 Navara for a few years now I'm in no hurry to move on to these newer models with the 2.3. The 3.0L V9X engine perfectly matches this class of pickup IMO.
Who's driving it between 120 and 140
STX with mods or pro4x?
Great question. I'll be doing a full in-depth review of the Pro-4X in early March. So make sure you're subscribed for that. Will let you know if its worth getting over the ST-X.
Have a 2016 series 2, 140k's it's off the road more than it's on. Reliability is shocking.
You mean it's bad?
WHY Please ?? WHY is it ''shocking''? WHAT is wrong please?
Sorry, motor i feel would be to small towing a 3.5T caravan, wait for the Ford Electric F150 Lighting
If only we were going to get them in Aus! Looks like we’re missing out for the first batch of Lightings. - Cameron
;( I have a 2012 ranger might do me for another couple of years , thanks Cameron .
@13:18 wasnt this a great opportunity to show that 360° camera? Better than just show us a car reversing parking. Wasted opportunity. Good video though.
Stop the CAP
Nissan Navara 2012 d40 turbo diesel is the beast 4x4 manual I ever driven i just love it
Unbelievable 1/4 interior trim pieces on door trims are only stuck on there with double sided tape
Seriously 😳
Actually???
