I always find it funny how both Bride of the Living Dummy and Bride of Chucky were released in the same year and both have several similarities with one another like how Tiffany and Mary Ellen both have a crush on Chucky and Slappy respectively but towards the end they basically say "nah, I didn't really care about you" they even have a fight scene at the end and both dolls/dummies end up getting murdered.

You know, I originally didn’t think of doing a commentary for that movie, but that might actually be kind of a fun idea, alongside a separate review for the movie hahah.
The scenes on the TV that Katie and Harrison are watching are clips from The Scarecrow Walks at Midnight, Welcome to Camp Nightmare and The Werewolf of Fever Swamp. I only know this because someone pointed it out to me awhile back. It’s pretty cool once you notice it lol.
In the book, Slappy wore a red and white checkered sports coat but I guess the producers decided to keep the tuxedo since it’s more iconic. Also it’s never explained how Slappy went from Zane to Jimmy.
I’m kind of glad they stuck with the suit-I would agree that I think it fits him way better hahah. And I forgot to even mention the Zane thing! Crap! Good catch, dude lol
The twist of this episode used to traumatize me as a kid. Those eyes on the kid’s face was so scary to me. I feel as though the creepiness of the old series was somewhat due to the real practical stuff that was made and the “cheapness” of the episodes. I don’t really find modern CGI horror stuff, in films these days, all that scary. The Goosebumps show will always have a style that just can’t be replicated these days. Agree about the cheap budget making more effect. Those really allowed the team to get creative, and I think it paid off more than it failed, in the entirety of the show. It’s a classic for a reason. Thanks for watching and commenting!
Slappy is still voiced by the same person in all 3. In the book Jimmy was shown in a home, although it was a trailer park kinda place. I enjoy this one a lot, just not as much as the other 2 Dummy episodes. I totally want more commentaries.
He was also like in his late teens/ early 20s in the book. Also, what always bothered me was it was never explained how Slappy went from Zane to Jimmy. Did that ever bother you?

You should review R.L. Stine's The Haunting Hour: Don't Think About It. Idk if its suppose to be within the spirit of Goosebumps but it does have qualities from it.

Hey Michael- I’m curious to hear your opinion on something! I recently scored on purchasing a goosebumps lot. One of the books included in the lot is an original Monster Blood IV book which I’m stoked about! The only thing is it was a library book back in the day so it still has its sticker on the spine and one on the back. This isn’t the biggest dealbreaker to me since it helps me confirm it’s authenticity but I’m still thinking about what to do in terms of keeping or removing the stickers😅So I was wondering if you were in my position- would you try to find a way to safely remove the stickers or leave it as is? Big fan of the channel!

Well, let me tell you this: I’m always petrified of removing stickers, because I always destroy the covers, and I hate the gooey stuff that I can never get rid of. Most of my collection (which I bought from Thriftbooks) have stickers on them, and I would probably never risk removing them, out of my past issues lol. Library copies tend to have stickers and tape all over them, and sometimes it’s to hold the book together (after so much use, Goosebumps books like to fall apart hahah). If you decide to remove it, I’d look all over the Internet to see if you can find the best possible solution to remove them hahah. Hope it works! God bless!
