Notice period should be max 1 month. For this thing Government should pass any law. We should be more competitive in salary, work and work culture. But 3 month notice period slows growth of employee and employer .

Even after we resign due to XYZ reasons, it is very important to keep our next job details very private and serve the notice period peacefully.
Cut down on communication, because that period is very dicey and a lot of things can instigate the employee towards abrupt behavior.
And eventually affect the full and final settlement.

I did the absconding, as the employer haven't left me any choice. I got COVID while working in the office from a co-worker, so I took 15 days leave (without pay) as my parents also got COVID from me, I have informed the director about my health and offered him the test results however he didn't want those and told other employees that I'm not attending office because I will quit the company. After 15 days when I joined again I found out that everybody got last month's salary except me. So I have to beg 3 times to get my salary. After this I have to endure regular insults from the director like I have spend a good 15 days holiday and I am not performing properly. So I just found a job within 7 days and quit the company without informing them.

Hello Sir, I joined College as a Lecturer on September 7th 2020. When I joined the probationary period was 1 year. Now I have finished 2 semesters. Next semester will start from October 4th and will end by January 15th 2022. Now they increased my probationary period 6 months more. In the appointment letter they mentioned, the resignation period is to finish minimum 3 semesters(18 months). So the notice period is 2 months before the last working day of 3rd semester. Otherwise I have to pay 2 months salary to take my documents back and leave. But I'm not getting, whether I should finish the probationary period( finishes by March 2022) mandatorily inorder to give the notice for resignation even after finishing 18 months of service? If so, by when can I give the resignation? Can you kindly enlighten about this with calculations and dates?

    Hi sir,
I am a High skilled contractual worker under a 3rd party vendor of TATA steel. In my appointment letter, it was mentioned that to resign from the company I have to serve a notice period of 90 days or have to pay the salary in lieu of notice. As I was not happy with the clause, I never signed the letter or accepted it. The company officials told me that, they would discuss this later. After that day they even didn't ask me to sign it but there is a clause that I have to return a copy of the same with my signature as a token of acceptance otherwise this letter would become null & void. I have worked for the company for 4+ months and want to resign from here as I have received a better opportunity. Now the question is do I still need to serve the Notice period or pay the money? Or I can resign it without any other issue?
