However, could you kindly advise on what should we do if our soon to be ex-manager or team-lead takes our resignation personally and puts more work on us during notice period and purposely delays on-boarding of our replacement, basically to say they harass the innocent junior resources? I have been through this and I feel it is a valid problem for some of us.

I have a question for myself regarding career. I did BSc in Electrical & Electronics Engineering from Dubai University. I have 3 years of experience as an Electrical Engineer. I'm interested in starting my career in either "Cyber Security" or "Data Engineer/Data Science/Data Analyst". How do you see the career growth and development in one of those fields. As they're IT fields can I switch from EEE to one of those field. Will my degree help me to get in those? Or do I need to start from scratch. Can you guide me?

I have resigned from my Current organization and there i have 90 days of notice period. In the offer letter (from the current organization) it was mentioned that if i am unable to serve the notice period then i can pay to company and get the relieving. In the offer letter it was also mentioned that If the exigencies of work so require, the company may not relieve earlier than the expiry of the entire period of notice. It shall, however, be open to the company to accept your resignation with effect from any date earlier than the one offered by me in my resignation letter. The company shall at all times retain the right to exercise waiver of notice period. The Company in such situation may choose to pay salary till the last working day of the employee.
Now i want early relieve as the new offer is very good and i don't want to loose the offer. My current organization is not ready to match my new offer. I have made several follow ups with my reporting manager and HRBP team but not getting any proper responses.

Why dosent the labor department make the max notice period as 30 days. In countires like USA and UK it is 15 days. 😂 It only benifits the Gov since chances are new job will pay more and gov gets more tax money!!

@@deepblue6216 if you think that your employer will wait 15 days, you are living in a fairy tale. If employer does not find you useful, they will fire you immediately 😂😂🤣🤣

I do like some of your videos. However, while watching them, I feel you have a superiority complex or pride because you're the HR as if everything is in your hands and you can make or break someone's career.

Hi, I wanted to resign from my current company in 30 days where my notice period is 60 days.
“At any point during employment, your appointment may be terminated by either party giving a 60 days’
notice in writing. The Company reserves the right to decide and deduct the notice pay (gross salary) in lieu of notice period.”
This was mentioned in my offer letter, is that mean I can buy out for my notice period

What a way to get the views 😂😂
Pehle new company ko kam notice period ke naam se lapete me lo. Then the existing company se negotiate karo.
Agar nahi negotiate hote hai then new company ko DOJ ko extend karne ko bolo and then ho sake toh notice period buy out karo 😆😆😆
Madam when one is pretty aware that they can't leave their job because of many dependencies then why do you suggest getting relieved early.
I seriously didn't find this video very useful.

      Hello mam,
My appointment letter/ Joining Letter shows my notice period is 30 days, but HR is saying it's 90 days as per the policy. So in that case what will be my notice period??

  • @pramod8838
    @pramod8838 Год назад +1

It would take a divine intervention for Indian companies to reduce their unscrupulous 90 day notice period. Don't understand what exactly they are trying to achieve in those 90 days?
First of all mostly there is no KT given. Any new joiner is forced to learn everything by himself/herself in the team.
Next, with an oversupply of talent in an overpopulated country, I don't understand why would any company need 90 days to fill a position?
The 90 days notice is actually hurting the companies more than the employees. Candidates are getting ample time to prepare thoroughly for multiple interviews, and are able to bag multiple offers. Companies are getting the shocker of no-show by candidates at the nth moment, and it's hurting their own commitments to the projects
So what exactly are companies playing at here?
