Brembo caliper install!!8th gen civic si/Acura tl type s brembo

- Hey welcome back to my channel.in today’s video I installed Acura TL type s oem brembo calipers on my civic si.
Things you need for this conversion
1.Acura tl type s calipers
2.Acura tl type s brake pads
3.a 9/16 drill bit
4.new caliper bolts
5. Stainless steel brake lines
6.aerogenics 5mm hub centric shim
7.dot 3 or dot 4 brake fluid
8.clear hose to bleed the brakes
9. Also you need rotors from the Acura TL type s size 310mm
That’s all you need for this conversion I hope this video was helpful for people that are looking to do this conversion.the new brembo calipers feel amazing 4 piston makes a huge difference than a single piston calipers.I hope you enjoyed this video I will see you guys in the next video thank you for watching have a great day

Isn’t the discs have to have have the ventilation lines facing forward??

Very nice job!I got the same car (eu) model ,dc5 brembo calipers and ep3 (eu) oem 17" wheels 7j wide.i didn't try to put it on the calipers because i don't know if they fit easy.You think that i will need spacers?
Yeh u need a 3 inch spacer

sweet video, just wanted to ask.....according to aerogenics website, the new rotors bore needs to be resized, did you do that prior to installation?? also they claim you need extended wheel studs, i didn't see you install any on the video, was that also done prior??

I'm going to do this with +60 offset not sure how much mm i need to get ?
Hey thank you for watching.they were 17x9 +45 with a 1 inch spacer.you might need like 1.5 inch spacer or 2 inch
With 60+ offset I needed 25mm to clear perfectly.

What happen if you use stock fa5 brake master cylinder? Its not gonna work?
Hey thank you for watching.the stock one wouldn’t work the brakes would be super spongy and they won’t work right
You think a 18x9 35 offset will clear?
Nope I have a TL with brembos only wheel 18x9 that I fit was +20 and it barely cleared.
Hey thank you for watching.they might not work also it depends on the wheels you got.my rpf1 were 17x9 +45 with a 25mm spacer so that made it a 20 offset

daniel montoya hey thank you for watching my video.I believe that 17x9 with offset anything under 22 I believe not to sure my rpf1 were 17x9 +45 with a 25mm spacer so it made it around +20 offset

Yeah they might fit it also depends of the wheels but I seen people with Rpf1 17x9 +22 with like a 3mm spacer

Why used spacers for the rotors?

You can machine the caliper bolt mount and trim off 5mm and should work perfectly fine, should be cheaper as well than buying the spacer.
