Lovely week! So great that you added to your novel! I once saw a RUclips video who was talking about it being helpful to think of items we purchase (especially clothing) at a per-use/wear price. A pair of shoes that will be worn only once or twice versus a pair that will be worn three times per week--it has helped me to make better purchases. The pair that is strictly for a special occasion is a pair that I spend very little on versus the several times-a-week pair where it makes sense to seek out a higher quality item (at the best price, of course).

Ahhh, Brexit.... the gift that keeps on giving! You need a trip to the UK and a quick tour of our charity shops. I pick up a lot of Boden clothes there. I agree the quality is good but I still prefer to pay Charity Shop prices if I can. Keep up the good work with your challenges. You are heading in the right direction!
