For those who don't live in pine tree country, consider bargain Christmas trees on Christmas Eve. Make sure the tree is a pine and take it home for a Boxing Day project. Make a year's supply.

Does the percentage of acidity in the vinegar make a difference? I have both 4% and 5% acidity vinegar.

I always use 5%, that's what we have available, but I'm sure the 4% would work, I just wouldn't dilute it as much when ready to use.

Only, why I ask is because, I was told not to use vinegar on granite but, rubbing alcohol was ok to use for cleaning granite or stone.
