I highly recommend checking out... She is of the Woods..here on you tube. April an amazing lady is a wealth of knowledge!
Looking forward to a series on herbs and uses. I know enough to know I don't know enough.😊
That is so true! And we never will. I learn something new all the time. Last year I planted two big rows of hibiscus for tea. Holy Moly I will have that for the rest of my life. It also definitely brings pollinators to the garden.
Hi Ginny, I've recently stumbled across 2 books by Stephen Harrod Buhner - Herbal Antibiotics and Herbal Antivirals. The book on antivirals covers dengue fever and H5N1 among other viruses. Foraging books are also helpful for identifying some wild herbs. Foraging books by Sam Thayer are excellent.
Thank you. I’m looking forward to you continuing this topic.
Thank you for doing this series! I want to also get identification guides with lots of pictures. It's super important to know these things.
I love learning about herbs. It's a fantastic world of plants and we need to learn how to use what the earth is giving us. Thank you for sharing.
Id love videos on how to use herbs.
Good video, thanks for sharing YAH bless !
I have one of Rosemary Gladstone's other books plus one by Susan Weed
Dang woman, I wish you were my neighbor!! LOL I'm a tea gal too! I've got a few tinctures but, I'm all about the TEA. You should see my tea cabinet and my tea in a big tote! I use to work at a health food grocery. I was an assistant mngr and if things got reset or we got a wrong order or too much of something...I was the one marking it down. You better believe I will have medicinal tea for the rest of MY LIFE!! As you know, if tea is stored properly, it can last a LONG time. 😄I have 3 of the 5 books you showed us. I have so many and they ALL have amazing info. Looking forward to what you've got coming. I'll surely be watching!!
Amazon, here we come! Thanks, Jinne!
Thank you Jinnie it is so important to have hard copy books. I have canning, cooking, gardening, mechanics, essential oil, home repairs.
I really like books with pictures so can forage if not growing a particular herb.
The mullein tea has been helping my asthma thank you.
The book you have ancient remedies I do have. I do not have the others.
Thanks for the herbal remedy books recommendation, Jinne. I already have some of the ones on your list but have added the others to my AMAZON cart for future purchase. I'm especially interested in the one about Ancient Remedies. Thanks again, Dearie. 🥰
Ohhh I’m in trouble! I have about 20 books but not all those.. i do have the Gladstone book but not that version😫 I need a simple book with LOTS of recipes!! Which book has the most recipes?
THANK YOU! So informative!
Thanks. I have a few of these books.
Thanks for sharing and recommending these books. Very informative video.
I have quite a few herb books but none of the ones you have. I do have one from Rosemary Gladstone and one from Nicole A. I think I'm going to have to get the one with the teas. I love mixing different teas. I also have books using essential oils. Thankfully my daughter and granddaughter both love using herbs and EOs. I always look forward to my holiday visits with them when we make numerous batches of soaps and lotions. My daughter also grows luffas that we infuse with soaps for family and friends. Thank you so much.
WOW! Great video and content. I just counted and I have 37 of "This kind of book!" But no herbals. Think I will start with the last one you showed.
Great video, as always!!! Have a couple of these but already have the tea book in my Amazon cart!!! I love making/using teas for health!!!
Thank you so much. I have the tea book and tons of other books. I’ll be putting the ones you showed, in my wish list and get them one or two at a time. I love books.
I love this! You should do a book series! Love hearing about what informative books people love!!
Excellent books to get , THANK YOU JINNE
Thank Jinne.
Always Helpful Info
😊😊😊🙏🙏🙏
Such a good video. I’ll definitely be adding these to my prepper library.
This is so interesting. Glad we follow your channel.
Thank you! I am going to add to my book arsenal.
Thank you so much
Thanks, Jinne! You are appreciated!
Thank you for the information! I have the herbal teas and Rosemary Gladstar books, but I'm definitely getting the Ancient Remedies book. Excited for the upcoming videos on this topic.
Thank you for sharing. I’m looking forward to the info coming. Where do you buy your herbs? There are so many companies out there I don’t know where to start. Stay safe.
Excited to see your Herbal videos, thanks for sharing 👍😎
Well Jinne, every time I think I have enough medicinal herb books, someone comes along and shows me more that I might want...guess it's you this time! The Lost Book of Herbal Remedies by Nicole Apelian and Claude Davis is my current favorite, but I also have the Rosemary Gladstar book you showed in the video as well as another one of hers. Petersen's Field Guide to Medicinal Herbs is a wonderful book to have in your library, especially if you want to forage for your herbs. Amazon has it for @$18...plenty of pictures to help identify the herbs and warnings if there are lookalikes that can harm you. Back to Eden by Jethro Kloss is an old book but it's only about $10 and has alot of the older, maybe forgotten remedies.
Thanks for a great and important video! The whole time I was watching I was hoping you wouldn’t show a particular book, mostly focused on foraging, that I actually got for you! I start out with the best intentions but then I seem to stall out with a half filled box intended to go to someone. Good thing I’m not operating an eBay business! I’ve got a partly filled box for you and one for my best friend that have been sitting in our family room for more than a year. I promise to get my rear in gear (as my Dad would say)soon!❤🇺🇸
Your videos are so informative, useful and needed. I appreciate your knowledge that you share with us all. Thank You 😊
Was able to get most of the books through your links. Already had the Wellness Guide. It truly is a wonderful book. Looking forward to your upcoming videos on herbal info. Have been using muellein (spelling ?) in tea form for bronchial relief. Thanks so much!
Thank you for sharing the books. I've always wanted to learn more about herbs. I'll have to find these books
Very good information. I saw a couple of books I do not have. So I will have to add them to my library.
Such wonderful info! Thank you!
Yayyyyyyyy
Thank you sooooo much! ❤

Love herbs. Im growing alot 😊❤ i have rosemarys books too
Tha lost book of herbal remedies
Love this topic. I can only day I dabble with herbs and have done for years. I have several Rosemary Gladstar books and I am always refrering to them. I look out for herbal books in charity stores. They don't pop up very often but I have had some good finds. I will be looking into a course in the near future
Just need to build up my confidence using herbs rather than falling back on the over the counter meds.
I am also looking at herbs for my animals as I hate the concoctions of chemicals dished put for them sometimes. Be interested to know what you use with your dogs and chucks.
I saved this video so I can try to find the books in the future ❤
I have books so if internet is down. I still have the info
Exactly!
Great info🙋🏻♀️
Is there any book you would suggest for properly identifying the different herbs.
Also, possibly one on mushrooms as well.
I live in Minnesota
Thanks for another Great Video❤
Petersen's Field Guide to Medicinal Herbs is wonderful! Amazon has it for @$18...plenty of pictures to help identify the herbs and warnings if there are lookalikes that can harm you.
I loved this! Thank you. Is there a stronger recommendation for a particular book in dealing with perimenopause and such. Limited funds, so asking. I did notice Rosemary has one for women.
Do you use fermented honey garlic?
Yes! Love it! 💕🇺🇸
I also use herbal enemas for the benefits.
🦋🇺🇸👋Good Morning from Central Pennsylvania. I am a new subscriber. Just getting into making Arthritis /joint/inflamation salve . I’m interested in recipes
❤
I live in the swampy area of south east Georgia. I grew up , most of my 73 years in the north. I don't recognize any foraging plants here. Can anyone help me out? Any southerners on this page?
I have a daughter with severe eczema, so bad she's on Dupixent. May i ask, what do you use for your own eczema?
I’m a beginner and know nothing about this topic. Which book should I start with
Looks like three of the books are from the same author. They look very similar. Am I right. I have my own collection of books and when something new comes out I just look it up on the Internet. I don’t have any more in my house to buy, anything extra I’m all set in my old age but I love watching all these. videos for new ideas on herbal remedies and tinctures and food for medicine. I’m all about natural healing. I don’t take traditional medicine at all. I haven’t since the 1990s. Too many fake diagnosis and medicine that was not appropriate for me. I can’t begin to tell you how many doctors gave me the wrong medicine and said I had all these ailments which I should’ve been dead by now. They just love to prescribe medicine and tell you you have all these different things wrong with you so they can continue to rip off your insurance company and laugh all way to the bank and deceive you and manipulate you and the system. They told me I had asthma they gave me asthma medication for no reason I don’t have asthma I never had asthma. I rode a bike every day for years and years and never did I run out of breath. That’s just one example. I’ll give you another example when I was in my 20s I was getting sick to my stomach I kept getting I’m gonna call it acid reflux. Whatever you wanna call it. I went to the doctor and for three years he kept telling me it was my nerves and get giving me the wrong medication to settle my nerves, which I was not nervous at all. I was a happy, go lucky young woman with the two little boys in the four years old and all of a sudden one day I just started vomiting bile up the zoo. I had to go to the hospital in an emergency, and it was my gallbladder. I had huge gall stones. It was never my nerves. It was my gallbladder, and he was giving me the wrong medicine. And I had the worst surgeon ever that left a big hole in my stomach with a drain for over three weeks and he was supposed to be head of the hospital. I think he was drunk when he operated on me. I have many stories horrible stories with incompetent unqualified medical doctors who are nothing but fraud. So I went into natural healing and medicine and I’ve been fine ever since I don’t have any of the things that they said I had I’m 73 years old and I’m strong as an ox. And that is the truth, as God is my witness. I would never take anything that any physician would prescribed to me.
Thank you so much
