Have fun!!! I think you will really like it when it is done!!
That's so cute. I can't wait to make one of my own and thinking of using the block as a border for a quilt that I'm formulating in my mind. Thank you for your inspiring tutorial

I’m going to make the spool mat. I love it!!❤️
I'm so glad! Have fun! Pick fun fabric!!!
@@thesimplequilter7499 I still need to get a notebook for all of the patterns you’ve shared. Especially the mug rugs. Because of a severe knee disability, I have not been able to go anywhere. After two surgeries, I’m just now starting to get out and about. Please don’t ever remove your tutorials.
@@vikkivanveldhuizen2290 Vikki I’m so sorry to hear about you knee issue!!! It sounds like you improving some now!!
My mat was a gift at a retreat and actually has a pin cushion roll the width of it and a 'tool apron' that hangs from that. I would be lost without that pin cushion. I only use the right end pocket of the apron as I found that putting things in the other pockets directly in front of the machine was uncomfortable for me. I have an alternate mat that I made myself with the pin cushion roll without the tool apron as I often have more than one machine set up. Great tutorial!
I found those apron pockets to be in the way also. The attached pin cushion sounds neat though!!!
Oh there you go - showing us how to make another cute sewing mat! I made up the selvage version because it was so cute and practical. Now I'll for sure be making this one up too! Thank you so much for your generosity in sharing your design and instructions. Super cute, love those colors!
Carol, you are most welcome! Enjoy!
Adorable!! Love how your spools fit together so well. Thanks for a great tutorial! Would be a super cute wall hanging too.:)❤
Thank you! 😊
I love this. Thank you for showing how to make the spools of thread. I want to make this and a cover for my machines with cute spools of thread. Do you have a video on how to make a machine cover? Have a nice day everyone.
No, I do not have a video on how to make a machine cover! Wish I did! Enjoy!
What a great idea. Love the alternating spools. I will have to make one, but most likely not until garden season winds down.
I understand!!! I am running late again on mine and I have not even cleaned up my garden to prepare it for planting!!!
I love this! The colors are so bright and cheerful! Thank you for the tutorial - I’m going to make one.
It is an easy little block and it goes together quickly! Enjoy!
Would be cool for nice sized place mats. Cute and quick. 🤩
They are!
Saved in gallery . Thank you. So cute idea.
You are most welcome!!!

@@thesimplequilter7499 I sent you a photo of it via your email. just wanted you to see it....
My machines are in inset tables, so no mat for me. But what a lovely wallganging it would make!
Yes or just a cute table topper for something in your quilt room!
I thought the same thing. However, decided to measure and make size to fit bottom of insert because it is so cute!
@@lindyb78 Enjoy!
So cute..I think I will make one.
Enjoy!!!
I use a rectangle of rubbery shelf liner, but this is so much prettier. Thanks for the tutorial.
I'm going to use some shelf cover for back of mine.
These a fun to make and nice to have around in your quilt room!
Good idea!!!!
That is very cute
Thank you!
Love this
I'm so glad! I hope you get a chance to make one!!
I love this
I'm so glad!
That’s adorable, I’m going to make one. I have a mat under my machine, it’s a floor mat designed to relive leg strain if you are standing on concrete
Enjoy!!!
I love this, thank you.
You are most welcome!
I use Amat and it has an overhang for tools. I love it. I agree it cuts out the noise and vibration. I just have a small sewing table and it doesn’t move
Thanks for sharing!!!
Morning, I made one for my featherweight- should make one for my other machine.
Absolutely!!!
Perfect fabrics! Love it❤
Thank you! 😊
Could you show how you do your meandering quilting?
Hi Donna! I am really not very good at free motion quilting. I will see what type of video I can put together if you think will help you.
Oops! Wallhanging!
It sure can be!
