Quick tip. If you start at center of quilt and work in a quadrant, then go back to center, do next quadrant, then repeat for the other two quadrants. So don’t have to struggle with the quilt as much and you never have a lot of bulk under the machine.

Kelly this probably won't help you since you have a long arm but it might help others like me that quilt on their domestic machine. Amazon sells a single can of 505 (7.2 oz) for $13.20 that is $ 1.83 per oz !!! Now look at the price of 3 cans $50.06 but they are 12.4 oz cans!! that means it is $1.37 an oz That would be the same as getting that $13.20 7.2oz for $9.86
When the feed dogs are dropped your hands are driving the speed of the movement and the length of the stitch. Ive heard of people dropping the length to 0 but your dogs shouldn't be moving unless your machine doesn't really have a free-motion function. So drop to zero cant hurt, but mine was at 2.5 for this whole video but the feed dogs were down. Hope that helps! -Kelly

I almost always by a roll. So much more cost effective if you are doing a lot of quilting.
Kelly this probably won't help you since you have a long arm but it might help others like me that quilt on their domestic machine. Amazon sells a single can of 505 (7.2 oz) for $13.20 that is $ 1.83 per oz !!! Now look at the price of 3 cans $50.06 but they are 12.4 oz cans!! that means it is $1.37 an oz That would be the same as getting that $13.20 7.2oz for $9.86
Great deal! I always bought them 3-6- or even 12 at a time. If you use them, the savings really add up!
I want to know how to make bastket quilt
The one one the design board behind me?

What stitch length did you use?
When the feed dogs are dropped your hands are driving the speed of the movement and the length of the stitch. Ive heard of people dropping the length to 0 but your dogs shouldn't be moving unless your machine doesn't really have a free-motion function. So drop to zero cant hurt, but mine was at 2.5 for this whole video but the feed dogs were down. Hope that helps!

Love your table your using. What size is it? Thanks for tutorial.
Its roughly 45x80. I love it too! Sew much room. But be cautioned - tons of room to stack things too! LOL.

Dont know much about sewing at all. This kinda scares me. Where should i really start?
Or you can just use glue here and there!❤

😍
What stitch length do you use?
Feed dogs are dropped so it shouldn't matter, but you can also drop to zero.
