You gave some great tips for this quilt. Thanks! After using the Lori Holt seam guide and the seam tape which do you prefer? I have a quarter inch foot with guide that came with my Juki. I really love sewing with it.

A lot paper and a big box

Made a quilt from this FQ bundle without issue. Sewed beautifully, felt nice, washed with no colors running or bleeding (used color catchers with all my quilts). I wish there were more bundle options.

I got home from out of town Saturday and my box was waiting for me on the front porch also!! I was so excited!!

I hope you like that rotating cutting mat. I received one last Christmas. It rotates so smoothly that I have an extremely hard time keeping it stable and secure while trying to cut. It just wants to move on its own.

You just explained perfectly why I didn't keep this rotating mat. I would still press down and cut and still did not stay in position for me. I just purchased the 8" Olfa rotating mat. I'm hoping that will work for me and if it does, I'll be purchasing the large one next. Cute block 🤩 I started this subscription late, so I am missing block #1. 🥲

My mom gave me that pink rotating cutting mat for my birthday last year. I love it so much! It turns easily and is so smooth. I had a similar thought as you with the solid backgrounds on that pattern. I might end up using a woven, like a chambray, for the blue. I like the Lori Holt denim dot you picked. It's going to look great!

I’ve used the fabric line. I washed my quilt in cold with a color catcher, no bleeding and the quilt is still holding up !

You’re gonna have to order the small one now rotating that then that way you’ll have one of each. Also, I like to put the date that I start using a new rotary blade across the center then that way you know how long you’ve been using it and if you really should be replacing it.

So happy to hear you’re liking the Stripology ruler! I learned how to use GE design rulers prior to taking a quilting cruise with Gudrun and her husband. It was amazing! You really need to start trying her patterns , if you haven’t.
