As children in the 1960s we were all aware of the rarity of the 1933 penny. Rumour was one coin was missing. At that time bus fare was 2d, so the year of every penny was checked before paying the fare. We knew it would be extremely valuable. At that time many pennies had been in circulation for many decades, like Victorian "bun" pennies. Maybe as old as 1880. Most were extremely worn, just smooth disks. Some people would collect these, but I think even today value is minimal.

The Brilliant Uncirculated can go for £20 and the ones found in circulation are worth around £1, but can go up to about 3 or 4 pounds depending on condition. Jags Rocks prices are a little off, but he's on course when it comes to the theme of the video. Which is all the coins he shows are worth looking out for. They can be found and if look out for them, you could make money. There are a lot of RUclipsrs out there that are worth checking out.. LAFTA, Christopher Collects, UkCoinHunt and many more. Coins and coin hunts have never been so popular. It's a decent video.

The coins are not 'coated'. Cupro-nickel is an alloy of copper and nickel, so the substance of the coin has the same colour no matter how much wear or other reduction it suffers. I would check on 2p coins being stamped on 10p blanks if I were you. It is a known error and it may be one of those you have. As with any collectable, the 'value' depends first and foremost on the condition. Never clean a coin as this can remove 90% of collectable 'value' in a stroke. And, yes, it is easy to tell that a coin has been improperly cleaned. .

Werent the 1972 decimal coins not actually circulated, as so many were minted in 1971 as decimalisation came in Feb 1971 so they didn't mint any coins till 1973, however some were made as commemorative sets, so any coin dated 1972 must be worth keeping, I had a set in plastic case proof uncirculated set, but they have been lost sadly, they should be worth a fair bit, you didn't mention them...

The coins are not 'coated'. Cupro-nickel is an alloy of copper and nickel, so the substance of the coin has the same colour no matter how much wear or other reduction it suffers. I would check on 2p coins being stamped on 10p blanks if I were you. It is a known error and it may be one of those you have. As with any collectable, the 'value' depends first and foremost on the condition. Never clean a coin as this can remove 90% of collectable 'value' in a stroke. And, yes, it is easy to tell that a coin has been improperly cleaned.

You can't tell the actual price of any coin unless it is graded first even if it is a gold. Gold doesn't mean that it is worth something. What kind of coin is it? What year it was issued? Is it new or old? How your coin looks like because nobody saw it? Send me the picture at cambodge@yahoo.com.

Need to give you info on the 2011 original design Olympic aquatics 50p... themintage you stated is INCORRECT...there is no known mintage for this coin 600 is a guess.. also the coin was NEVER issued as a circulation coin and can only be found in sets..

I have got two of the one with tower and vines going round It, And Two of the Votes for Women ones as well, I have bags of 20p's, 1p's, 2p's. 5p's, 10p's they are that old, there Is 1/2p's and Threepenny pieces and sixpences, I'll go though and see how many of there's I have.

Werent the 1972 decimal coins not actually circulated, as so many were minted in 1971 as decimalisation came in Feb 1971 so they didn't mint any coins till 1973, however some were made as commemorative sets, so any coin dated 1972 must be worth keeping, I had a set in plastic case proof uncirculated set, but they have been lost sadly, they should be worth a fair bit, you didn't mention them...
I had several WWF coins and a full Olympic collection with many other coins I thought was cool, my brother spent them 🤦♂️
