Thanks BCC, I’m lucky enough to have them all. So good to have a rough guide to the current prices. Not that any of mine will be sold 😀 Merry Christmas all at BCC
Hi Christopher. Having watched your youtube channel I looked through my £2 savings tin and found the Northern Ireland commemorative coin. i'm well pleased with myself, and to be honest I never thought our pocket change had additional value. Thx
Probably the one I accidentally spent when they first came out. I got the smaller coins and 50pence in change all together. Like I said I loved the design and kept them then accidentally spent them.😢😅
Excellent video .I have the Underground Train ( my favourite) and WW1 Navy Centenary £2 coins and Olympic Shooting, Mrs Tittlemouse and Sir Isaac Newton 50p coins. I really covet The Great Fire of London and Mary Rose £2 coins . I remember having a Kew Gardens back in the day and just spent it !!😲 and I know someone who had a Jemima Puddle Duck and did the same not knowing about it's value until I was talking about it !! On an episode of The Yorkshire Aution House, not long ago, they sold a set of coins that included the Kew Gardens 50p and it wasn't noticed ( even though I was shouting at the TV! ) .It sold for a lot less than it should have and I think the buyer knew what he was doing !🙂
I have had all those coins except 3 or 4. Unfortunately, I had twice the Kew Gardens but never knew its value I just wondered what it was when I saw it the first time. I now just give any coins I find to others.
Feels good knowing I have about 70% of these… including 2 kews 😜 Tip for those looking for some of these… VENDING machines!! Always put in £2 or more and collect the change… I found a Kew doing this! Best can of coke ever purchased 👌😂
This was very useful thanks just wondering if you know how much the £5 prince Charles birthday coin is I can't remember when it was minted as I was little but I remember it was sometime in the mid 1990's. Also I have a Queen Victoria coin it's tiny it's my favourite coin it say Anne of the indies on it I've tried finding out more about it but unfortunate can't find any. Also just stared collecting some Harry potter coins there beautiful so far I have Harry, Bellatrix and Dobbie hopefully getting Draco next.
Interesting as always nice to keep up to date with what all theses coins are worth, have them all pleased to say, but would never dream of selling them, cheers CC and BC.😊
I have a Northern Ireland CW Games £2 however it’s been dyed (?) incorrectly, front is off centre and the coin is in pretty good shape, How do I sell please ?
Gosh I’ve a few Kew gardens 50p and have been collected coins from within my change for years I counted them the other week at face value I’ve nearly a grands worth I’ve just started collected some collections of coins but I’m not as keen on them. Anyway you have a new subscriber and thank you. 😊😊😊
I have all except the Kew of these. I have a few nice year sets such as a deluxe proof 89’ year set with the bill & claim £2’s and a deluxe proof 92’ year set with the EEC Presidency 50p. Great stuff Christopher & BCC 👍🏻
I played poker and my last 50p was the football offside coin, I thought I had a good hand so used it as I "knew" I was going to get it back........I was wrong.
I have them all including 15 kew gardens and counting, in my first RUclips video of the year at the end of my gardening video, i show a couple of cases of coins and you can see lots of kew gardens in the clip alongside some other coins that put the Kew to shame...

How on earth did you omit the Olympic Swimmer 50p of 2012 with the face obscured ? Mine was won at London Auctions five years ago for £600 in mint condition but one realised about £2500 only very recently at auction. This one also in unc grade.
Not something I had done but emptying our coin bottle this week I spotted an unusually bright 10p with an odd cross design which turns out to be Gauts Cross an Isle of Man coin
This evening I bought a David Bowie BUnc £5 coin for £12. Probably the most I've paid to date. As for those in circulation, it would have to be...none. I've found plenty of commemorative £2 and 50p coins, but none above real value (yet)! I particularly liked the Magna Carta and King James designs on tonight's showcase video. I'm warming to the Kew, but I still think it's over-valued from an asthetic perspective - it's a pretty design and while I appreciate it's low mintage, there are nicer ones - especially from Isle of Man.
I have seen more than a handful of Kew Gardens 50ps since starting work at a bank - I thought they got a few more quid but upwards of three figures?? Kicking myself!
I have all but 3 of the commonwealth games & Kew gardens but I go through thousands of coins each week so hoping to finish finding the ones I'm missing but I won't be selling any just passing them on to my daughter & granddaughter ❤️
@@BritanniaCoinCompany it's your videos that got me collecting again 😃👍 saved a couple of thousand of coins for them now so hopefully they will be able to cash in & keep some to pass on.
I have a Charles and Diana commemorative crown. The only problem with it is that it has unmilled edges and I don't know if this is of any interest or just unspendable junk. I have tried to find out, not very hard, I must admit, but no luck.
Nice ive been lucky enough to find them all in change and bank hunts with the exeption of the commonwealth set which i got for £40 at a car boot although ive found others exept N I Thanks for the price guide 👍👍🙂
The Royal Mint made an official re-issue of the Kew Gardens 50p coin in 2019 to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the first issue of Kew Gardens. It is a very special limited edition 50p coin with only 3,500 minted worldwide, unfortunately none have been entered into general circulation. I personally saw one online selling for £299.95
@@vicreadies The re-issue of the 50p Kew Gardens 2019 is said to be as rare as the first Kew Gardens 2009. So the two coins can go either way on price, one can probably fetch just as much as the other, it depends what the collector's looking for. I have a re-issue KG 2019 sealed certified brilliant uncirculated, that's one of the 3,500 that were minted weighing 8g, diameter: 27.3mm. Not sure how many of the first KG coins were minted, any idea?

Today in my husbands change I found the WALES COMMONWEALTH GAMES £2 coin. I am so thrilled to see it listed in the top 25 coins. It was just by chance, I must say, or my husband would have spent it 😅
I have a Jeremy Fisher 2017 Tom Kitten 2017 Olympic swimmer without lines on face 2011 Another Olympic swimmer 2016 Bailiwick of Jersey 1997 Peter Rabbit 2016. Got them from change in shops.

Dunno if policy has changed, but I'd go into my bank and ask for bags of coins as a private customer , I'd get a bag or two of £2's or 50'ps , and they didn't bat an eyelid. More bags may possibly cause cash flow problems, I'd imagine.
Seem to have the 2012 shield coin from the advert am I tripping? Been trying for days to get hold of someone to tell me if it's right and sell it for Xmas!
