I think you are not able to chat with your teammates when you connected aux cable. Just broadcasting your voice to OBS and then livestream. You might use an audio splitter connected to ipad then audio and mic separately will be recorded and able to chat with teammates.

Anyone has the complete setup for ingame audio party setup for Iphone 6s to Elgato HD60S+ I already got the lighting to HDMI for my mobile. I use Audio jack with 2 pins one wire from mobile to behind pc connecting to blue port but the audio to Audience on FB for game is low and sometimes disconnects then it comes back after game starts for mobile legends. (I need proper set up for professional streaming).
Internal audio automatically goest thru HDMI or we have to insert aux cable ? Also i phone x dont have 3.5 mm so can we use all these process with wireless headphone to talk and hear game sounds ?
