Electro Technoix it is unplayable for competitive players, that’s for sure. For the rest of us bunch if we want to fully enjoy it without unfairness of our own hardware limitations, it’s still unplayable. But if you’re able to overlook those problems and are still able to enjoy the game all power to you! Having amazing hardware is fantastic and beautiful, but It’s also an different form of amazing thing and feeling to be able to enjoy things when resources are limited.

anything below 90 is unplayable to me since i got a 144hz monitor, 60 is dizzying and well, 30fps in ps4 is kind of a hassle but you just accept it when it's an exclusive and you can't do anything, but on pc, we can have standards

@Online Alias it's running CSGO at around 450 fps at 1440p, dependant on CPU of course. It is over 400 fps average at 4k in CSGO.
Now all this footage means hes recording while playing. Imagine getting those 8+ fps back by playing without recording.

I remember hearing that song during the beta and got immediate chills. I’ve played band and orchestra music or used to. Just when the full orchestra came in with the warm sound from the brass gets me.
When he started talking about how even the 2080ti had trouble with maxed settings on BF5 made me realize that we are never gonna see a game at its fullest potential bc the games graphics are apparently ahead of our graphics cards XD
Well that's because it's what we're asking of game production companies. We want the visual quality over performance and it has its costs xD
I wouldn't worry about that, BFV was just terribly optimized.
That's why people need to be grateful for what they have and get a job and a life.
I dont have a pc but I'm planning on getting one to use for work but gaming would be a plus side

simple. viewmodel animations and thirdperson animations don't match. Yes it's wierd, but you don't want them to be the same either. Because you want the weapon to be in your camera view at all times, while in third person, the gun is sometimes held at pelvis level. anyways nice observation!

i really can't play warzone on these low settings that everyone is playing at. i hate it when the game is blurry af and can't see shit in the distance. granted my vision is impaired, is not the best and i know that , but the fact that my vision is weak combined with the low settings, it literally makes the game unplayable. i'd rather have 90 fps and the game look good, than 160 fps and game looking like dogshit. i onily have 1080p 144hz monitor anyway ...

If he’s getting above 144fps, it’s 1080p. I have a 3080 and I get 130-150 approx FPS at 1440p with everything maxed but ray tracing off. In warzone specifically.

What you need is a build page to display what the rig you run with is. Just a notepad page would work, list parts, sign at bottom with approval.

Around the 3:11 mark your showing off how great the card looks and talking technical stats, I noticed your running with your character , you switch weapons but the shadow on the ground keeps running with the shadow up. This make me wonder how good my graphic card is in my pc. Nice job on the review. It's time to start saving up for the Rtx 3080 and thats if you can find one.

so it all comes down to my 30€ cpu cooler... it keeps the cpu at 70max tho
I have to pay off my debt from my previous upgrades soooo i wont be upgrading for another 2 years. By that time prolly new gpus and cpus will be out. But seeing the leap in performance and pricing makes me happy for when i do upgrade in the future
3080 is amazing for price to performance value. Way more than 2080ti, but I’m super excited for when the super and ti versions come out

this is actually good, as you PLAY THE GAMES, most of the "techy channels" just bencmark the hardware, vs. actually playing and/or being good at the games, so the take is different, but very useful.
Agreed
The tech channels all have benchmarks for the games as well. They get those numbers by playing the games. They don't show the gameplay because people are coming to the tech channel to see the numbers, not the gameplay. The same way people come here to see gameplay, not benchmark charts.
Channels like Hardware Unboxed don't even always use the built-in benchmark, they sometimes do a run of a certain level or part of the game, which can be more accurate. The proper reviews of the cards aren't meant to show lots of gameplay, they're meant to be runs that the reviewer can replicate in order to get the most accurate representation of performance.

Just got a custom build ordered with a i7 10700K and a Nvidia RTX 3080 (I know I'm lucky to get one at the moment)
I'm so so fucking excited. I upgrading from a AMD R290 from 2013, so yeah the performance boost will be insane

Great man! Saw other reviews and looking at their benchmarks this card is best suited in 4K 2160p. Most games have higher FPS in 2160p than 1440p, so it's a great upgrade with the price difference from 2080 Ti, and i'm here starting to think i should've waited these RTX ampere cards 'cause i bought RTX 2080 Ti last year and it's so expensive damn
