Everyone blaming the wrong people as always. Blame EA... Dice has little to do with what happened with Battlefield 2042... The game was suspposed to be a Battle Royale but they ended up having to scrap it because EA told them to make a normal BF game from what they already had.
It was all EA and shareholders.
It’s kind of incredible how we went over 20 years without a serious BF competitor and the first one in the fight already looks better than BF’s latest entry. It’s a winning formula that fans have been pleading for and I’m glad someone has finally stepped in to give the fans what we actually want.
Yeah what it seems the gunplay is like CoD and gameplay from BF. Best from both worlds. Love it. First, I thought it felt way too similar to BF. But hey, if you make it better im all for it.

Considering this is merely a chineese knockoff of the latest battlefield, I wouldn't say they have to worry that much. Not to mention this is owned by Tencent. As more and more people become aware of that I think their player base will decline.

Doesn’t change the fact that it’s awesome and on release it will be a better game than 2042 at release (personal opinion). I do agree tho that micro transactions may be a problem, Chinese games are pretty well known for extreme levels of micro transactions.

One thing I found really nice is if you go into the 'Details' section of a gun it will give you a break down of each category such as handling, control ect, exactly what it affects and even things like spread visualizations and raw stats. Is a really nice, in depth stat system.

I really wish multiplayer free-to-play games like this would adopt the Helldivers 2 live-service model. Lower price for entry than a full AAA game and permanent battle passes that are priced more fairly due to the aforementioned buy price. This would also reduce the amount of cheaters since they can’t create a new account as easily.
I mean i literally got every single Helldivers Warbond for free, through gameplay. That's setting a pretty high bar to surpass lol. helldivers and their live-service model is pretty much unique to Helldivers itself, i doubt many if any other games will ever do it like that
I'm not sure about that. I hate seeing battle passes and similar microtransactions in games which you can't even play for free to begin with.
@@MarkoVuckovic32 I called it a battle pass here, but I guess the more accurate term would be a "content pack" of sorts, similar to the seasonal map packs of older BF and CoD titles. Y'know, the "classic" idea of DLC. Anyway, this was just something I thought of when considering the cheating issue when it comes to free-to-play. Maybe the devs just have some kind of anti-cheat secret sauce.

Helldivers 2 could never compete for a full AAA price tag since the game simply has too little content. It would have been devoured if they asked for full AAA.

Once Battlefield releases a new title, everyone will play it. I highly doubt they are worried about DF.
Well, for one, the BF team will be innovating. What this is, is just a polished version of 2042. A blatant rip-off, in so many ways, basically. So DF is going to either have to innovate or just rely on riding the tailwind of BF, once they launch their next title. I appreciate that it is F2P and I see why it is created. But a credence to the ability of the BF team, would simply be that DF is emulating everything that they do. But as was once said,

Its funny to see Delta Force make a comeback. I played all of them when I was younger. I joined a DF clan called Southcoast Warriors run by a family. It was a good time. I'll never forget going on a killing spree and my mum picking up the phone to make a call and disconnecting me.
It's so strange that it's coming back in this form and might actually be very popular :P, i had a friend with a computer obsessed family when i was a kid, they converted their dining room into a 4 desktop LAN and we'd play the original Delta Force or the 2nd game co-op, not sure which one, i'd later get Black Hawk Down which is the one i played the most.
Obviously non of the DNA is left in this really, we'll see how that campaign turns out but i expect it to be pretty simple, it's just wild that this is the IP they'd choose to resurrect in this way, i ain't against it :P.

Delta Force is all I've been playing lately. This game is incredible, I had been sleeping on the Extraction mode. It's incredible.
I love playing heals. It's always fun to see yourself right near the top of the board score wise with barely any kills.

This game is literally just an upgraded 2042, same atmosphere, setting, theme, gameplay, a literal copy with improvements, however it’s completely free. Hopefully this teaches dice to wake up and put more effort in their games, because as if now literally anyone can steal their game and audience .

Plus it has an extraction side to the game too. It's so much more than 2042

I'm honestly loving this game, both the Warfare multiplayer mode and the extraction mode. As you said, the balance of gunplay between CoD and BF style really feels great. They also seem to be doing great things on the promotion and community side. I wish this game the best of success 👍
Handle pretty much is your movement speed with the firearm. The lower the Handling speed the slower you are with it.
Control is how well you can mitigate recoil manually.
Recoil is how much the firearm diverts horizontally and or vertically.
Gun Kick is how hard it throws you back or up which is different from recoil.
I'm thouroughly intrigued by this game's attention to detail.
isn't Handling also how fast you ready your weapon after sprinting or swapping weapon?

I’m amazed that since cod mw2019 all the fps games are exactly the same. Tac sprint, the more realistic gun movement, the reloads etc.. they literally changed the gaming industry and now all the games feel the same

Hello community! I have been playing since Aug. 6th. I've got 67 hrs play time, I've been having a BLAST, but I've been hearing that they are putting in bots and I've been noticing more and more bot like encounters in my playtime, and it takes the fun out of it because I can tell I'm just shooting an Ai sometimes. Other than that, my only complaints are the at4 rocket launcher needs balanced and the helicopter controls are HORRENDOUS!!! I find it hard to believe that it's even part of the same game its absolutely terrible. but overall, I love it and I'm SO HAPPY battlefield has some actual competition now, it will be good for the gamming ecosystem.
the AI / bots are in the tarkov version, (the extraction shooter one) It's for low levels, once you're high enough its pmcs only. Try that gamemode out, it's really fun, and you won't even mind the bot lobbies when you're new to the game, it helps you learn

This is not the first time EA has had to compete with a Delta Force game. When “Joint Operations” (made by Novalogic, developers of the Delta Force games) was released, some called it the Battlefield Killer. Battlefield 1942 was just getting old and Joint Operations was a fresh modern warfare FPS game and brought in a whole new experience, especially with a 75 vs 75 vehicle filled multiplayer. Soon that game got old too and EA came back with an awesome game, BF2.
bf2 was a killer, holy. Love it till this day.

Multiplayer is it's own thing but singleplayer might be a remake, we don't know much about it just yet. Keep in mind that the company that made the original doesn't exist anymore so anything is possible.

The Delta Force franchise has been around for a long time, and often butted heads with the BF franchise for combined arms gameplay elements. It's good to see that they haven't just spring-boarded off the old school successes, and are seemingly showing EA what they lost when they ruined DICE. Jack you make this look like child's play man....one of the GOAT FPS gamers!

@@thebigsam I don't think this is pay to win. If you can play naturally and level up in a decent amount of time then its not really an issue. Now if you have to spend a year to level up and the person who pays for it can level up immediately then you can argue that it is pay to win. But also note that in this model paying to level up quickly doesn't allow the development of skill. A person who takes their time to level up and learn all the in and outs of the game will develop more skill than the person who just buys their progression. But in the end it's all depends on how this will get implemented.
@@CreativGaming if you've played Delta, you would immidiately put 2 and 2 together. What skill? Max level guns in the game are literal laser beams compared to their default state. Without exp token, the actual progression is a grind. Can you guess why?
The medics just seems so well done and so fun. Its even more fun to watch this than actually playing medics in bf5 or 2042

The loadout code system is amazing in itself. Sharing codes with buddies to try eachothers weapon builds is the best.

Having played the Alpha a fair amount i have to say that medics are SUPER important for the attacking team, a good medic can save the team SOOOO many tickets

I actually have a lot of fun playing medic in this, i feel like you can actually make a huge difference to the flow of a game with this class.
What I really loved! About the original delta force black hawk down was the ai controlled Blackhawks where you could shoot out the door .. simple but so cool 😎 👌🏻
Love the game, seems to have that sandbox battlefield experience we have been 'craving for' since... BF4. Not that BF1 and 5 weren't good. They had their pros and cons and I played them a lot as well. But modern combat was always my thing. I am glad we are seeing more games published with this setup, especially because competition benefits the consumers (gamers in general). DICE will have to be careful now.
