My grandmother was a codebreaker at Bletchley, except she never ever spoke about it. She was just phenomenal at crossword puzzles, and happened to work for the army in that exact place at that exact time.
I re-installed this game yesterday and can't stop playing. So much better than the last 2. It's like i'm actually in a war. But with a beer and snacks.

The atmosphere it battlefield 1 is everything, I remember playing with my friends turning the volume up on my headset. Hearing whistling bombs and roaring plane engines above you is insane

Agreed. I skipped BF1 for TitanFall 2 at launch, but got into on PS5. I wish I played sooner. Only games in the series better IMO than BF4 and BF1 are BF2 and BF2142.

Same! Started re-watching all of Jack’s BF1 videos a week ago, not long after I installed the game again and I’m having a blast! I see lots of new players (low lvl) and there’s lots of servers running at full capacity all through the day on ps4-5. I even got to play operations on the DLC maps I forgot how much fun this game is
You can tell the amount of care they've put into the game. Recently learned Indy Neidell was part of the consultants for the codex entries. Then there's that clip with them recording the sounds of the soldiers. Awesome game
its a crime how this beatifull game only cost 2 bucks, while, they are other overpriced games or DLCs in the market that, they offer almost no content or come out incomplete at release

I was playing on Cape Helles and i was in a bomber. The destroyer didnt have an AA gunner so we were able to do runs over it like in that World at War mission Black Cats. The game is so beautiful to play

the past 3 and so yrs i spent watching jackfrags while losing my hearing..it was always ok cause i could still hear enough low-mid dB's to understand the words that were spoken at the very least. but now ive lost that ability to...good times watching these vids or all the warzone streams back in the day. i hope to continue watching but idk i have no fullness and range of voices and words and yadda yadda anyways honestly i think of all the bf games this is one of the truly original ones they made. it still looks really good and im happy tosee theres still some playerbase after all these years.

Operations with the blimp is the BEST game mode ever made IMO. Especially with surround sound and the subwoofer it was so loud so many explosions. Amazing.
Seriously have such good memories of this game. Infantry was so good, vehicles made you feel like a god, sniping soooo satisfying, everything. They def need to recapture this feel

I owned this on PS4 and it was one of the first games I bought when I switched to PC gaming in 2018. I miss this game, haven’t played it in a good while. If the playerbase on Steam is healthy enough, I might give it a shot. But since I switched to PC gaming when I was like 28 yrs old, keeping up with old school Battlefield PC gamers is extremely hard lol we are spoiled with so many crossplay games nowadays.
