I went to Frankie's about 10 years ago when my kids were early teens. They hardly spoke for the whole meal - just concentrated on eating. The food was glorious! BTW white pudding is a waste of time!

It's been a few years... memory's not that good. They'll just have to visit again.
I traveled to all three nations in all honesty the Aussies have the best fish and chips New Zealand's is a close second probably blasphemous the US does better than England..
I also have had the pleasure of eating in both shops and it's a close call but I think Frankies wins by a hair mainly down to the super freshness.
@@DanielRhey98 Australian fish & chips are definitely the best, and. TBH all the other countries in the UK do fish & chips better than England. Except in the north of England, places like Whitby etc.

As an Aussie, the Hot Chip Sanga is a cultural icon and I will not have you sully the good name and incredible taste that is the chip sanga aka chip butty, Josh & Olly lol ... although, it did seem like the bread had no butter on it, which, if it didn't, explains why it didn't taste so good.

As someone from Kentucky I've always wanted to try a classic fish and chips. My papaw is known for his fish frying skills, and his hushpuppies. I'm curious as to how it's different to what I grew up eating. The types of fish we'd have are catfish, bluegill, and crappie. I don't believe I've ever had any other kind fried.
You need to come to Australia to try truly great fish and chips.

That fish looked amazing. I was particularly jealous of the scallops because I’m allergic and they looked delicious. The shrimp too. I am American and can’t find a good fish and chip in So Cal.

I had fish and chips at a shop on a pier in Ullapool in Scotland when I visited. Caught fresh and served almost immediately. It was incredible.
