The McChicken in other countries actually taste good! It doesn't look like a fried cardboard lol, it usually has a crispy fried chicken fillet. 👌 And that spam mac would probably go best with a sweet sauce like teriyaki to counteract the saltiness.
McChicken exists but I don't think anyone orders it. The chicken burger you're describing is a seasonal one, at least from where I am. It's either the McSpicy or the current one, K-chicken burger.

In the 1990s, someone at McD's Indonesia took the Indonesian mum adage of "if you haven't had rice, then you haven't eaten anything" literally and released the McRice - a burger with (seasoned) breaded rice patty. So bread, on top of rice, on top of another bread. I don't think it lasted for more than a year, but it wasn't unpopular. It tells you all you need to know about the Indonesians' love for rice.

Thats a common menu here (chicken bigmac), in JKT. Honestly, mcd has lots of flavor experiment these few years. They provide rendang, nasi goreng, and tons of local delicacy flavored burgers and yet its very intriguing. I wish u guys had a chance to try/taste & dissect whats in it. 😁

I’ve had a depressing and death related day today, but this episode not only lifted my mood, but also my will to go on. Seeing Ollie power through that Swig Mac from start to finish made me believe that if he can march through that entire atrocity of a drink, I too can march through the same atrocity of a world we’re currently living in. Yeah it was done in the US on and off.. Same with a double fish-fillet. But there are lots of "off menu" items many places have that are only made in certain areas too
Chicken big Mac has existed in Sweden on and off for a few years, like it was my go to in 2017. The trick is to have it fresh so that the breading on the chicken is still crispy and then the breading doesn’t enter into conflict with each other. The magic is the Big Mac sauce and crispy chicken combo
More Olly, please! He's a mad genius! The Pig Mac was inspired. The names of the rest of the burgers--Mac Mac, Big Mackerel, Spig Mac, and Quack Mac---were brilliant even if the flavor combinations were questionable.

Last year we had interesting ones at McDonald's Japan, the """hawaiian""" burgers, and one was the "spicy hawaiian bbq" which had a beef patty, a spicy smokey sauce, a hashbrown, a BBQ sauce and cheese or not. It was actually fckn delicious lol. Recently we also had a gratin croquette (fried patty of cheesy white sauce macaroni) with demi glace sauce and cheese and lettuce. Some fall off the track a bit but a lot of the novelty burgers at Mcdo Japan are great lol

McDonalds in my country actually released a limited edition kimchi burger a while ago. They collaborate with famous chefs and make limited edition burgers. We had the lemon chicken homestyle, then the Singaporean fried chicken kimchi homestyle, and now we have the beef burgundy homestyle with red wine sauce. The two first was made with chicken that looked more like it came from KFC than McDonald’s.

Chicken big Mac has existed in Sweden on and off for a few years, like it was my go to in 2017. The trick is to have it fresh so that the breading on the chicken is still crispy and then the breading doesn’t enter into conflict with each other. The magic is the Big Mac sauce and crispy chicken combo

Last year we had interesting ones at McDonald's Japan, the """hawaiian""" burgers, and one was the "spicy hawaiian bbq" which had a beef patty, a spicy smokey sauce, a hashbrown, a BBQ sauce and cheese or not. It was actually fckn delicious lol.
Recently we also had a gratin croquette (fried patty of cheesy white sauce macaroni) with demi glace sauce and cheese and lettuce.
Some fall off the track a bit but a lot of the novelty burgers at Mcdo Japan are great lol

McDonalds in my country actually released a limited edition kimchi burger a while ago. They collaborate with famous chefs and make limited edition burgers. We had the lemon chicken homestyle, then the Singaporean fried chicken kimchi homestyle, and now we have the beef burgundy homestyle with red wine sauce. The two first was made with chicken that looked more like it came from KFC than McDonald’s.
