This is really the ONLY one that makes sense for an LED fun watch. I can’t see spending any more for one when this is available and doing the exact same thing, being fun and looking rad! Thanks Pete, and yeah this is totally the fun for money channel. And Martha Stewart says “that’s a good thing!”
This most affordable retro LED watch Trumps all the others. I definitely would not waste my money on the much more expensive ones from Yema, Hamilton, and Bulova. The Armitron makes such watches worth playing with. Thanks for sharing and getting a better look at it.
Love the Griffy, incredible value for money and such a fun watch! The silver with red display will remain the one I'll get, but the new models are really fun.
Thank you! I subscribed. Just bought the silver with blue for $30.55 delivered new. I enjoyed your style. You remind me of Soupy Sales but with teaching.
I am British and have only just found out about Armitron watches after seeing other reviews about this particular watch. Armitron is an American brand that we don't see here in the UK at all as I believe that the company only sell in the USA for the American Market. I have since purchased the Armitron Rubik and also the Armitron Ridgemont from Amazon US Global Store. Both incredible watches especially the Ridgemont with them both being stainless steel at a very reasonable price compared to similar Casio variants. I am still on the fence yet about getting one of the Griffy watches due to various negative reviews I have seen mainly about faulty buttons falling out and also the 16mm lug width strap so it would be hard to find one if you wanted to change the strap at any time. The watch does look good though tbh and I may end up getting one for my collection. Thanks for your review I enjoyed watching it. Greetings from here in the UK.
Cool watch, had not seen the green one. I have resisted picking one up, not sure why, great fun-for-money quotient. Speaking of things that glow green, does that lightsaber work?
I just purchased this same one with the green led. Im looking to put a different strap on it though, a black rubber with stainless steel inlays and buckel. A piece of information i was needing you provided! The flare width of 20 mm is what i needed because im going to need to shave 2mm of each end of the band where the pin goes in to fit the lugs and match the flare. Thanks for the review!. I had just seen a Gurlach that was extremely similar, made in Poland, but costs about $300 . No thanks. For the similar fun factor I'll take the Armi.

Great value for money. Can't believe it's all metal and 5atm. I just bought this exact watch. I think the green is the best for use in daylight.
I like this one. Very bright display. 👍

Very cool! I wish the time stayed on all the time. Great review as always, Pete!
I'm definitely gonna get one.
All about the fun for money watches! Enjoy them as much as my higher end watches!
Good quality ..As a child of a certain age ..I still prefer the old type of LEDs
Love the shape of the case, thanks for vid
Such a fun watch and crazy good retro deal.

Phenomenal Armitron
Cheers Pete, nice video. 👍🙂
Love it, I will have to look for one with red LED. 16mm lugs are a bit unhelpful but the same is true of a lot of g shocks
Red is cool! Also I can't imagine taking this one off the bracelet...
Just ordered this watch. 34 usd from amazon. What a steal
I saw that! What a deal!
Cool watches. Unfortunately shipping to Canada is SUPER expensive.

Indeed! And it is green! I'll do some corny lightsaber intro!

Why buy the YEMA etc when you can have just as much retro fun for less. Very cool piece.
Is very similar to Hamilton PSR.
As 70s as a tie-dye!.
I noticed that the analog second hand it every index. Why can't expensive watches manage this??
I wonder about this all the time!
0ne site says crystal is Mineral, another says acrylic!
