Smaller and thinner digits with much smaller gaps between the segments would match more closely LED displays of the past. The new LED readouts look clunky in comparison.
Completely impractical if you’re carrying stuff but so cool. Looks such good value for the price. Brings back memories of when I was a kid in the 70s. I always wanted an LED display watch but never got one. Thanks for the review.
Love the choices of watches to focus on. I bought some random table clock the 80s other day that was Sanyo/Armitron - didn’t realise armitron was even a company that made watches still!! Lots more of this please!!

I agree with you about the digits. Other than that, mine just arrived, and I'm so happy with it. When people look at it, they'll see an actual watch that does it's job, rather than a smart watch.
I respect and appreciate that Armitron come out with his new LED interpretation. I really like the watch. My biggest complaint is I wish it was made to 38 mm case width with 18mm strap width to fit at least a modern size without making it a monster watch. I wear the watch but not as much as I would with a slightly larger watch size.
Got the Griffy with the red LED and bought a black Barton silicone band for it (the Barton silicone bands only go down to 16mm, but it fits fine). He's spot-on-everything's cool on this watch except the bracelet.
TBH had never heard of Armitron before i caught your video review - so thanks. At this price point definitely a fun retro piece to get. One problem, i can't decide between Gold and Silver 🙂
This armitron it s a best buy for price/quality/measures! computron and yema are expensive, hamilton price is insane!! The value of hamilton is pretty good for materials and so on (full stainless steel and sapphire glass, oled display), but not good for who want only a nice retro led watch :D

I think we need to go back to regular watches in all respect. I am not getting along with my Smartwatch so well they sound cool but expect weak battery life don't rely on it. I recommend a regular watch in your collection it makes you look more professional. It also has been around longer than Smartwatches I am even encouraging the Market to discontinue your Smartwatch I might add this one to my collection as well.
I'm confused when I went on the Armitron site it was $60, but when I looked at the Amazon site it was the Griffy under a different name (Armitron Sport Retro Men's Multi-Function Digital Bracelet Watch, 40/8475), but it's same exact watch. Do you know why they have it under a different name on Amazon. I got it for 35 on Amazon. I wanted the Hamilton but when I saw the price I went searching and found this one which looks a lot like the Hamilton. It was a no brainer.

With a high quality strap put on this it could even challenge the Hamilton Pulsar, I've ordered mine and am waiting for it to be delivered.
