Appreciate all you Mutha Truckers ❤
Appreciate you. You the man
As for J.B. Hunt crying about low profits, it comes down to DON'T HAUL CHEAP FREIGHT. All these huge trucking companies are trying to see who will do it cheaper...cheaper doesn't win. It's not how much freight you haul, its how much money you make hauling the freight.
Exactly. They think power only should pay $1 a mile. They want to pay $1000 on a 900-mile California load 1 way. That mileage in Cali means you have a layover in that state, and it also means you will need California fuel, so that rate definitely doesn't cover fuel costs for that load.
Mega carriers go in flood a new customer with trailers cut rates then others refuse to haul because can’t make money. So who’s fault is it that mega carriers have a deficit.
Calling 911 is like calling AAA in the middle of a Blizzard !
Yes, but for a woman being a pain in the ass? You know you can't shoot her. That was just a dipshit move!
No excuse for not calling 911. Atleast document the call before u take matters into your own hands. He just a sick individual.
It’s karma and they’re mind conditioning their drivers to accept a pay cut
Getting worse everywhere not just in America
If you’re talking about Canada it’s because of your “singh gurdeep patel” boys running for pennies. If you’re talking about Europe it’s because your government is tyrannical when it comes to trucking. If you’re talking about the entirety of Asia (not just eastern Asia but western as well) it’s because people from different countries run for cheap because in their country they don’t need much money to survive, so they will take all the cheap freight and think it’s great. If you’re talking about Africa it’s because corporations are robbing the people blind. If you’re talking about Australia, it’s yet another tyrannical government attacking the trucking industry.
Hey man, not sure how I ended up here (random RUclips algorithm) but I gotta say, keep up the good work man. I can tell this is quality content and I'm not even a trucker
Appreciate you! We just update about trucking to the trucking community everyday
Trucking companies set drivers up for failure
Bad right now even the so called top companies to work for are doing it
Nobody can compete with Walmart.
I work for JBHUNT intermodal, and yes, it's slow as hell! Money I used to make in 8 to 10 hrs is barely being made in 12 or sometimes, not at all because the loads are just not there! Amazon and Walmart have been our life vests for the most. But even those 2 giants has haunted to a snail pace for outgoing loads. It's bad...
So the rails are drying up too?! SMH
Thats why JB posts loads at 1.20 nothing/mile
That’s why I quit truck driving after 23 years. The economy is 💩💩💩💩💩💩💩💩💩💩💩💩💩💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯
Don’t trust a big company. Keep pushing, carriers!
Generally speaking the first quarter is always soft in trucking from my experience. Then add in all the what’s happening in the world plus some of their other issues, it’s kinda a perfect storm. I think we’ll have to look at the 2nd and 3d quarter results .
JB Hunt expanding way too much for a crao economy.
She won’t throw rocks anymore
Now she pushin up daisy 😮
He won’t be shooting anyone else either
You don’t shoot someone for throwing rock at a material item you call police and insurance will reimburse taking a life is forever smh he could have got out and wrestled her or something
Gotta look at the bright side!
@dantewilliams1540 pissed off prostitute bc he didn't pay up. Being that in most states it's illegal he didn't wanna call the police. Scared his wife would find out he being messy on the road.
Love your show. It's like morning announcements in the trucking world as I brew coffee from my sleeper.
Morning coffee ☕ rules ❤
Ty for the motha trucker updates
Truckers truck is his home. When does being a dwelling come into play?
She didn’t break into his truck to try to kill him. She was outside of it throwing rocks. Call the cops. A idiot with a gun will ALWAYS make a bad decision
@@CantrellMosley1 I'd also make the point of livelihood. If the gov or someone would give him a replacement truck then I'd have no problem. I don't see that happening.
@@CantrellMosley1yep there’s always one of you anti gun commies in the comments.

Deal with the Brokers your company will end up Broke... If, companies JUST STOP HAVING TOO.... MANY HANDS IN THE COOKIE JAR. THEY'LL PROBABLY BE OKAY
Crazy ... all of it Alex!😮
Jb hunt is one of the reasons trucking is so bad how they uncut so much just so they get the contract.
"uncut" 😂
-Beavis & Butthead
Under cut*?
I remember seeing a lot of jb hunt trucks on the side of the road 🔥.
I also remember quite a few of their drivers 🤕 and worse .
I take total pride in knowing I never drove for them or a lot of those companies like them .
Everyone is paying more from raw materials to groceries just doesn't trickled out to drivers. Because drivers are expendable
Screw JB Hunt.
Why is it you've never mentioned, And Warned truckers about the ice pick Bandit? He has struck again puncturing tires and cutting airlines.
Where does that happen?
Where at
I’m Hearing freight is being left on the yards because drivers are not getting paid but they think it’s always late now it’s just a bad time and trucking😎😎🚛
Thanks Alex 😊
Gotta respect a man of his word
Free that Driver!
For what? He shoulda at the least call 911 and report the incident. He'll she was throwing rocks at a company truck most likely bc he didn't pay for her services. Happens daily out here just not all of them get pissed off bc they know it's illegal.
JB hunt underbidding after the trucking industry was undregulated. Put the hurt on owner ops and small companys. At that time the owner said something to the effect of my trucks make one dollar a day I'm making money.so now they are feeling the hurt. Well I've heard what comes around goes around.
Nice update
Appreciate you
Most JB is contracted freight
Great content
Appreciate you
Love your content
Very interesting. Great video ❤
Yeah, it looks to me like if you’re an owner operator buckle up your seatbelt, be very careful of spending money you don’t need to, hang on for several more quarters, by fall it may pick up but usually in the fall it drops off through the winter so we may not really see much profit until a year from now
I work for final mile and I can tell you this. A lot of our stuff is with Ross dress for less. They got rid of all of our company drivers in San Antonio replaced them with owner-operators. This is just the start in the next 4 years, all Ross. Accounts will be owner-operators from what I'm hearing. Other people are hearing something different. Please let me know. We don't get much for management. They don't want to start a panic. From what I hear, Ross is keeping the JB hunt management team. But after the 4 years when the contract ends, those employees will have a chance to become Ross employees. Your thoughts and comments are welcome. This is just the information that I hear. May not be a 100% accurate, but worth looking into.
Ha ha I left JB Hunt last month after about 5 years because they put a driver facing camera in my truck. Now I don’t have to sit at a company round table meeting on why they lost money. Oh someone tor up my day cab I had 2 million safe miles wonder who replaced me 😆😆😆
Good for you , driver facing camera completely unacceptable invasion of privacy they out of their minds
I work for UNFI on the east coast and they’re selling out to JB Hunt. If I wanted to work for JBH I would’ve went there from the beginning.. but IMO JBH may be the new YELLOW. BUT what do I know! Uneducated & desperate drivers… cheap freight. they wana run you till you drop dead, quit, or kill someone. It was fun while it lasted in the food delivery sector. All these mega carriers are gate keeping new drivers so where else are they gona go? We all have to eat shit for the first year or two till we get our feet wet but damn. New grads are getting lowballed like crazy but don’t know no better cause it’s waay more money than most of their previous jobs..
time for my new chapter in trucking ✌️. Stay woke fam KNOW your worth!! There’s far few between decent paying gigs left b safe
Now if you truly know about JBHunt you know there has NEVER been any force load, even before electronic logs, we are never forced to do anything that would break the DOT laws. Safety is the number 1 priority at JBHunt.
The man has been through enough sleeping at a boot barn. Much less getting rocks at your truck.
This is my town, thank goodness no one was hurt fertilizer truck but the Jeep didn't stop he probably veered off to keep from hitting the Jeep
Yup
And they do have some badass Pizza I hope they get back soon that's the same road I live on
5 corners is only 45 minutes away from my house. I hadnt heard about it as im a driver on the road. Mom hadnt heard about it yet but listening to you while driving i called her and she looked it up. I might while home this weekend go for a drive and look at the carnage😊😊
Come to think of it i believe my brother knows the owners of pizza shop
🤣😂🤣
Love ya too brotha
How it going ALEX ,
I remember when JB hunt started , I for get how many trucks , but what he done he got trucks and he was a cut throat , he was hauling everything for a buck a mile and what a lot of shippers and his direct carriers did not read the full contract , He ran everything for a buck of mile and I believe after 3 years it was $5 bucks a mile they said no, he took it to federal court and he won
Wow
Sounds believable. Don't know how much of it is correct.
@@sandasturner9529 All of it is correct I would not be putting it on there if it was not correct , What do you think I am living in the basement pushing the keyboard why Mommy brings me food, probably you was not even thought of when I was born I watch a lot of these clowns how they got in big business and you are NOT going to tell me absolute nothing at all about trucking Nothing
@@joeferreira7382aye joe sutcho ass up man you hear me? Cause I love trucking ain't nobody gone tell me nothing bout my industry either coach.
Living in a CONSTITUTIONAL REPUBLIC you know what I'm about to say is covered by the UNITED STATES CONSTITUTION: The Supreme Law of the Land !!
JB _unt without the PAY-BY-MILE SYSTEM wouldn't fit into the above missing letter; like Swift; like Steven's Transport; like Landstar; like Werner; like Messilla Valley; like all the Mega Carrier's....
I've been receiving job offers, by text, from JB Hunt. And now today got a voicemail message from a recruiter.
Become a millionaire
2:35 "the truck was not hurt"
I'm with one of the major carriers and I can tell you this was the slowest 1st quarter I've ever seen
Don’t tell me jb hunt is going to be the next one to go
Call 911 and wait a hr or more for them to show up
Well when you undercut Walmart to transport their own goods for them of course you’re going to have a miss on your quarters.
Right smh so dumb
It's nothing to see it's the shippers then brokers if we don't come together this shit will continue 😢
Great video sir i have random question my company recently install lytx driver facing cameras i believe they controlling the event sensitivity of camera so they can have more critical events so they can fire drivers easily in this bad economy. Its a toll to fire instead layoff. What you think about that sir.
Start looking for a new job
All of these issues in trucking yet there is a new CDL school on every corner it seems. There's too many drivers. All of these mega carriers such as jb hunt, Swift, prime and the list goes on will hire anything that can breathe to keep itself alive. Way too many people that don't belong behind the wheel of a semi truck so of course insurance is go up with these people having wrecks. Add brokers to the mix and it's a recipe for failure.
Hogwash. They were going to take over the intermobile market and it back fired😂
Intermodal 😅
Don't think so.
Correct
What’s up, buddy? You’re in Florida as well am I I moved here from New York. Can you find out what truck drivers are making in Containers and what companies thank you buddy
Florida is being ruined by all the people migrating there from demotrash crap hols, they’re finally moving anyway so why not just go to Florida? Smh and they bring their politics to screw the place up just like in NY that they ended up leaving instead of fixing. Another truck driver in FL too, good luck

Left Jb hunt for Sysco last month due to lower pay..
Maybe it's a fear of calling 911 itself. Look up the local police desk for your area if you can and call that number.
She was messing his sleep, thus risking his life and others when he falls a sleep at the wheel
First of all you can’t just start a semi with air brakes that has been sitting for hours. 2nd the law states he had no obligation to retreat. That was said at the trial. 3rd they were not pebbles. They were concrete bricks. I saw them with my own eyes.
Fourth he was inside the truck his life was not in danger yet he had time to wait for police to come fifth he not supposed to have a firearm in a motor carrier vehicle federal law anyway so lock his ass up
@paulchandler9060 The concrete blocks she was chucking at his window would have made it through soon enough. And also, it IS legal, when you have the proper paperwork, to carry a concealable hand gun while operating a motor carrier vehicle. Show me the "federal law" that states otherwise and I will show you other laws that have overruled as such in recent years by the Supreme Court. Have a good day sir!
@@jennaferperry-thoren782 last I checked it's been the motor carrier rules and registration book for ever you know the green one
@@paulchandler9060 Perfectly legal to have a firearm on a commercial vehicle...keep in mind, it is up to State law as to how it is carried in the vehicle, concealed carry laws, separation of ammo from firearm, loaded/unloaded, locked in box, out of reach of driver while vehicle is in motion, etc. Also probably most motor carriers will tell you not to carry in their trucks, on their property, on customer property, etc.
Federal Law: The Peaceable Journey Law (Title 18, Section 926(a))
Truckers are legally entitled to a peaceful journey protected from criminal elements. The National Firearms Owners Protection Act of 1986 laid out the definition of a “peaceable journey.”
It permits gun owners to travel with a licensed gun through states where they don’t have a license to carry. They cannot be prosecuted for it. However, you may have to closely follow the carrier regulations followed by every state while navigating through them. Most states require you to store the unloaded gun in a locked box in the truck. It should be out of reach in the vehicle.
These insurance companies are out of control, they need to be capped limit
How was it 2nd degree
How many little ones they got in these traffic trucks?? Down a few bridges, flooding areas etc. CIAmart Inc
Ooida 🇺🇸
The Quicker it falls the sooner we can build it back.....without Federal Government.
That truck driver from CO was scared for his life, she was throwing chunks of concrete at his driver's window to try to break in! How many of you have been startled awake and been charged at with a piece of concrete?! My husband deserves BETTER!
Truckers get treated so bad you couldn’t even imagine especially THE OTR GUYS
I havnt been with JB Hunt long but freight is definatley light. They work culture has been awsome with lots of flexlibility and freedom to just go out and drive.
Truck driver that clouded into the building a few days ago it said that he was denied renewal of the CD and ran through DMV out of anger. They never mentioned that he was rear ended by another vehicle.😊
Sorry 2 different stories
I work for JB Hunt. I made $100k last year. But that’s purely through my own work ethic. I also have my Hazmat done and most drivers in my yard don’t. So I get paid more for those loads. Other drivers in my yard barely make $60k. This year so far I’m on track for that again. I do a notice a bigger slow down than usual, but I keep working my ass off. We’ve been stacking A LOT of containers in CA. We get containers from all over the country to get stacked. Which means those other yards in other states aren’t looking too good right now. I’ve been taking pictures about how slow it looks. I always make comments that I’ll bankrupt JB Hunt, but I didn’t think I’d actually accomplish that 😂
Lets gooo. Congratulations!!!! You deserve it. You hustle hard
Your the reason trucking sucks
@@MuthaTrucker Thanks Man! I appreciate it! I work around 12 hour days then go to the gym. 😂
@@griley218 Why? Because I work hard? Because I actually put forth effort?
But spending a lot of money on pb blaster to open the intermodal. Some are so rusty its almost impossible to open without oil.
Woulda never caused me to run into a building when I was driving
We need more eastern European trucking and the feds know what i mean
Double loading frozen and not frozen loads?
Low profits, well if that means they are paying all the bills then I would say pretty good!!! Next they will look for the truckers to give up some of their pay.

This same time last year I was at $38,000 for the year. This year I'm at $24,000 for the year. I feel the effects of this Q1 loss at JB Hunt Intermodal 👎🏻
Wow 😳$38,000 for a trucker that is low and $24,000 might as well get a job at McDonald's
@@dickjohnson696969 I mean I do only work a 4 day schedule probably should have mentioned that. And I'm a company driver of course a op would be greatly higher. 38k at this time last year had me on track for the year to a total of 105k which was pretty for a 4 day shifter on daycab
@@dickjohnson696969 that's so damn true though lol time to move along
Rock throwing career is over...
I feel under the 2nd Amendment we have guns but knowing when to use it, that's a different story. I don't want to stop anyone from carrying a gun in their truck but at the same time, you make a bad choice, you deserve the consequences. If he had called the cops or if she was brandishing a gun, I would side with him, but it doesn't sound that way.
He's had training, he made a decision feeling as though he had no other choice. Please educate yourself on FACTS of this case before assuming you know what, why or how any of this happened!
@@jennaferperry-thoren782the facts are he was a truck driver with a gun. That's all the nontrucking community needs to hear. No one cares that he didn't feel safe unless she actually broke in.
Even bosses take losses! 😢
In certain states, it is illegal to throw rocks. I know it is illegal in New Mexico, but do not know which other states.
It’s a very serious thing. In Florida for example throwing ANYTHING is considered shooting /throwing missile. No difference between a bullet or a rock, etc…just depends on the police and what they want to charge people with.
It's illegal everywhere to throw things at property in order to inflict damage or to throw things at people to inflict injury.
☺️
She have ,what she was looking for
The truck was not hurt😅😅
JB HUNT NO GOOD
No , jb hunt was never able to reel me in , As many , many others weren’t either .
Yeah we’re about JB Hunt’s earnings on their brokerage that’s for their making the money, the trucking site is just an excuse they’re raking it in by the millions in a brokerage.
Even worse for Knight Swift
Can we get some good news sometimes I’m depressed after almost every video.
I drive for a Serbian company in Chicago and I’m really happy with my company. All foreign companies are not bad companies. It’s hit n miss when dealing with some companies. I find it more often than not that the issues drivers have with foreign companies is because they did something foolish while conducting business that set the truck owners off. I’ve been working for foreign companies for years. Not all companies are created equal. Nor are they completely compliant with DOT. Just be yourself and most will work with you except for a few bad apples
MUTHA TRUCKER...
Don't care about JB HUNT they should have made money lots they got trailers everywhere every company railways if they didnt bid enough which caused that to be short its called greedy and thats your consequences ect .
Oh boo hoo the mega carrier only made $1.22/share instead of $1.37/share so they get pretend like it’s a loss on their balance sheet.
