I love how much she's done and how far she's come. From The Iron Maidens to Alice Cooper. A beautiful talented woman who can play guitar better than I even will.
Once a fan talked in a discussion: " I really would like to look like Nikki Sixx but play Bass like Steve Harris. But unfortunetaly I look like Steve Harris and play Bass like Nikki Six." That's life ;)
I attend a guitar club in college and it has alot of girls. They all play acoustic which is fine but when I brought my Flying V and little Fender amp they all wanted to play it. I then showed them videos of Nita and Orianthi playing. Put it this way, 4 electric guitars and amps were bought that week. Nita kicks ass !
Had the privilege of meeting Nita a couple years ago. She is incredibly humble and down to earth, made everyone feel welcome and talked to you like you were close friend.
I love the way she talks about guitar. I felt the same way when. It brings back the excitement like you can't wait to wake up in the morning to see what else you can come up with. Love you Nikki and you to Nita
Yesterday I heard Nita Strauss for the first time in my life. It was so magic to see and hear her playing guitar. I told my friend, who introduced me to listening to Nita, that this guitarist is such a brilliant genius. She has an extraordinary beautiful tune, and I like to put her on the same level as Steve Vai and Jason Becker. Now after spending 20 hours on RUclips, watching different videos with Nita Strauss, I have found that Steve Vai and Jason Becker are two of her guitar heroes, and Nita is playing guitar just as brilliant as her guitar heroes. So dear Nita, I'm looking forward to hear moore from you. A new guitar hereo of major importance is born, and her name is Nita Strauss.
It amazes me how naturally gifted players are so humble and talk themselves down like, "I'm not that good". Yeah, right. Nita is amazing. Nikki is amazing. Love this outlet, Nikki! Thank you!
NITA u r the definition of ROCK! I absolutely love This Women. You are not only an amazing guitarist but amazing on stage. When I saw u with Alice, I couldn't take my eyes off u. U were all over that stage! Myself being a guitarist for a long time am in awe of you. Much respect and Love!!!
I got to say this type of show is long overdue. I listen to Sixx sense at work and stuff, and I always thought Nikki could or would do something cool outside the regular format, and , prayers answered, what a cool show, I just happened on it today, don't know how long it's been going on, coolest show on earth right now for me. I play guitar, boy, I love talking about the actual music stuff, the real nuts and bolts that make some great songs, by the people who created them, that's awesome. I've always loved rock, metal, I mean I get into into it all, jazz, funk, country, but it was the early rock as a youngster that made me want to do music, I'm an analog guy like y'all, Zep, Aerosmith,Alice, The Sweet, Grand Funk, Cream Ozzy , Motley, Tull, BTO, KISS, Van Halen , Frampton, Deep Purple, ACDC.......etc. blah blah I could go on and on, Stones, Beatles, S, I santana.... There's so much to cover and I hope this show goes on forever, right on Nikki thank you, yeah , talk about real theory, real "tapping" , heavy riffs, bass stuff, I love bass, I'm a guitarist, but lately I want to play bass, most important instrument, solo lines the whole way through that help define the song in strong ways, yep, love to hear about bass stuff to
Mr. Sixx, I'm so glad you've survived all you've been through! You've found your future...it's doing this! You've got the natural ability! Way to go, man!
John J. Sanchez 😂😂 this fucking guy. This guy that absolutely nobody has ever heard of ever who’s name sounds like a third choice Mexican soccer player
I used tyo play the drums, got cancer so stuck in an apartment..went an sall ya both,at the Bangor Maine show........was a dream come true......!Mr.Nikki,I was 8 or 9 when I fell in luv with Motley Crue an you dude,,,,so now Im learning how to on the bass!Luvin it like I did the drums.....Alice is of course,a god to me....lolan to see all of my favs on stage was a dream thank you....Ms. Nita.....didnt you also play in a cover band for Maiden?.......lov ya both!Keep it real....peace
Not many of us get to the "Idols Become our Peers" level of playing ? Congratulations on all your hard work. Revel in your time and enjoy all the rewards and accolades that you have earned from your hard work !!!!
yes he lives there, making an album. nikki talks about mick with john 5, this show ends before micks new cd comes out. motley was my fave group of all time, sad there not friends at all.
Man...Totally respect Nikki. Thanks for the Memories. The best one would be sitting front row Center for Theatre of pain tour in in Indianapolis Indiana at Market square Arena 1985. Yeah buddy
Awesome I was just watching her with Cooper and was thinking she should be on this show.... Thanks Nikki for the best show on the internet and TV for that matter! F'N A
Awesome stuff man. I really like this format, Nikki. Honestly never heard of Nita Strauss until this video. She's pretty damn good, and easy on the eyes too, and seems super nice. What a dynamite combo.
Yeah, I have never seen Alice Cooper. Not really a huge fan, but I should see a show of his at one point, before he retires. I never did get to see Rush, and they retired, so I'm SOL on that one. I just don't get a chance to do things like that very often anymore.
This just GOOD STUFF! I subbed during this. Nita has her own style, and she's dialing it in better every day! Love her pitch harmonics, but she really has a unique " hammer" style she does when pulling rhythm duty I've admired enough to steal some for my own. Keep on keeping on. This series on tube is a must see!
I love Nita Strauss a great guitarist and Nikki is such a great person I've always loved him as a musician and person . I dig the show. I always look forward to it ROCK ON!!! \m/
Saw her in concert with Alice 2 weeks ago. It was like watching the female metal version of Angus Young, her stage presence is insane & playing is excellent. She’s going to be around for a long time to come
Heard her w/ sixx this am and she is like,to me,a cross between slash, for riffs, and evh, for those pinch harmonics! ! All I know is tonite after my dentist, I will hit MY harmonics charts, etc
Love this girl OMG she sold me when she played with alice cooper and played phenomenonally not to mention her solo and the most amazing whammy dive that she did to finish it off fuck
Check out her playing the national anthem at the LA Kiss football games. That where I first saw her amd she blew me away and then halfway through the season she signed with Alice Cooper
I think Nita was an EXCELLENT choice of guitarist for the Alice Cooper band. Obviously Glen Buxton (RIP) was my favorite Alice guitarist, but Nita has probably bested Kane Roberts (who I thought was excellent when with Alice). She is impressive and very skillful, and someone who can play in the style of the original when needed, but adds her flair too - THREE thumbs up to Nita! PS I also think it's cool that her last name is "Strauss" - being a musician ;-)
Let’s be honest here Niki was NOT The best bass player in the world when he started playing w the Crew. But his friends really loved him and he also brought other positive things to the band. He practiced hard and got better and better and now he’s Nikki Sixx
she said it perfectly. that feeling of being addicted to getting better. now i can tell my wife my addiction isnt gear acquisition syndrome, its addiction to being a better player...
Aaah ... I must , mention three names that set SO MANY trends in rock music...... Glen Buxton , Michael Bruce and Dick Wagner the first guitarist for Alice Cooper . Dennis Dunaway the bass player HEAVILY influenced the band and Neil Smith was an exceptionally talented drummer who really made the Billion Dollar Babies album THUNDER ! These guys not only played some of the greatest and well known riffs in hard rock music ( The Alice Cooper Band and Dick later ) . They were responsible for the eerie detuned sound that MADE Alice Cooper what it was . Too bad so many kids start with Alice's 80's albums and never realize just how ground breaking , controversial and hard core those first albums really were . This was the mediocre Brady Bunch seventies and the Alice Cooper Band set it on fire and stabbed it in the heart ! PK
I love how much she's done and how far she's come. From The Iron Maidens to Alice Cooper. A beautiful talented woman who can play guitar better than I even will.
Never say I'm a crue fan but Nikki is a great interviewer,I love his genuine enthusiasm for music
Once a fan talked in a discussion: " I really would like to look like Nikki Sixx but play Bass like Steve Harris. But unfortunetaly I look like Steve Harris and play Bass like Nikki Six." That's life ;)
Metal music is so awesome...we all have a story that begins with "I remember the first time I heard...I was blown away!."

Nice! I can see why. This girl is super bomb!
@@CrossTheLine1000 you wish.
Saw her open up for the Crue with Alice cooper awhile back, her stage presence is crazy awesome
Had the privilege of meeting Nita a couple years ago. She is incredibly humble and down to earth, made everyone feel welcome and talked to you like you were close friend.
She's fantastic! At just 30, she is going to get even better as a player. Really nice personality. Fun episode.

I love the way she talks about guitar. I felt the same way when. It brings back the excitement like you can't wait to wake up in the morning to see what else you can come up with. Love you Nikki and you to Nita
Rock&Roll needs Nikki Sixx and SixSense!! Nikki has become the pioneer for the future of hard rock and metal music. Imo.

As a music teacher I can’t tell you how many times I’ve heard that! Hilarious!
Nikki - these videos are brilliant. But they need to be longer please - and we need more 🤘
She’s gonna go down as one of the all-time great guitar players. What a talent!
Saw her with Alice... truly awesome! Great show! Alice is still great and he always manages to find amazing musicians to play with them...

I agree, I wish he would bring the show back.
Love me some Nita Nikki, thanks for having her on.
Awesome series!!! and Nita is an amazing, talented shredder!
Need a Mick Mars one!
mick already said no, he would be awesome!
Mick lives in Nashville and not willing to make the journey. Isn't that dude unwell though?
yes he lives there, making an album. nikki talks about mick with john 5, this show ends before micks new cd comes out. motley was my fave group of all time, sad there not friends at all.
Nikki said none of the Motley crue Members are close to each other they don't talk are hang around each other off stage.
Mick told Nikki to fuck off, and rightfully so.
I really liked her I never even heard of her so glad I watched this.
Nita is just as beautiful on the inside as on the outside! SO inspirational THX.
Great player. Has such a passion for the instrument.
Perfect interview! Nita and Nikki both just so laid back, and getting a LOT of information out! Loved it! Nita shreds with the best... literally.😍 🤘😁🤘
Nikki I love the new show! Ive been nerding out on it. Thanks. Keep it coming!!
@4:39 "Oh, man! I wanted some Guns 'n Roses", she says, with the bass player of Motley Crüe sitting right there.
That HAD to sting a bit.
I love how he talks to her like any other guitar player and not just some "hot chick".
She was born when Girls Girls Girls came out......crazy.
*No, she was born in 86... **_Girls_** was 1987*
In 86 I was 24 LOL
