Love her laugh and smile, and seems like a very genuine and honest person as well! Not fake as so many others can be in those situations. Definitely not a poser.
Alice Cooper made a genius move keeping his band young with this level talent. I saw them last year at Cynthia Woods Pavilion, Houston. Strauss was on fire.
She's very entertaining to watch on every aspect. Talent, Beauty, Brains. She brings it every night professionally, and Theatrically. A perfect fit for the Alice Cooper Band.
I agree 110%. I've seen Alice Cooper live with Nita on guitar 4 times over the past 5 years including last night, and she does an awesome job. I've always been in the lower level and could see the band well. Perfect fit is so true.
Nita being discovered by Kip Winger!!! That’s totally awesome!!!! He’s such a down to earth guy too. I love the fact that she over played her audition first. Shows how humble we all can become.
Absolutely Barry. All these soy boy dupes think this is a girl and she will be their girlfriend one day. There is nothing feminine about her in look or attitude. Its a dude.
Yup, she's a he, wide, huge shoulders, flat ass and hips, huge skull big hands, big square jaw, not to mention her huge, prominent Adam's apple. The NWO Satanic transgender agenda. #wakeupdummies.
She is right- no one can outperform her, this woman is the most amazing musician I have ever seen. And so sweet to boot!! I met her after a concert one night and will treasure those memories forever!!
Saw her today play with Alice in the Australian bushfire benefit concert in front of 70000, she was frigging unbelievable, her energy and talent was awesome, the whole performance rocked.
Saw Alice Cooper live last Thursday in Appleton, Wisconsin. The musicianship and entertainment value of that show was incredible. Everyone nailed everything. I heard in an interview in which Alice Cooper said that acquiring Nita opened up more of his tremendous back catalog. Orianthi, who was/is fantastic, was more of a blues-rock player like the other two guitarists in the band. Nita, on the other hand, brings the metal shred component to the mix, which diversifies the sound and opens up more possibilities. She’s been with AC for eight years now. Nita was a PERFECT fit for his band, and Alice knows it. When you watch their live show, you can’t take your eyes off her. She really is like a whirling blonde hurricane on stage. The show is intensely visual and dramatic, and a running, jumping, gorgeous shredder is just what the genre demands.
People need to understand that it's about the COMPLETE PACKAGE! There are many things here. First of all, how many girls do you know in rock that are under 30 that are into something like Iron maiden? Mostly of metal is a guy thing in America with guys that are like 40+. That in itself is a novelty. A younger hot girl that is actually into rock and plays it. She plays really good, she has the image, the attitude and she's good looking which is a bonus. So obviously it didn't hurt that she's hot but I don't think that's the only reason she got the gig, she still has to prove herself. Alice Cooper is like 68! He needs some eye candy next to him for the theatrics of it. So there is that aspect of it as well. As I said from I can tell (and I honestly didn't know who she was 20 minutes ago) she has the following: showmanship, skill, good looks, novelty & youth - in another words she is the complete package.
Undoubtedly she is very stunning, talented, intelligent, and delightful with a great personality. I'm her greatest die hard. And she is my major inspiration. I love her style and personality. Guitar is my life. She exerted a big influence on me. Keep up the great work. Thank you Nita. God bless you always. Much love from Bangladesh.💕💕💕💕💕💕 Never give up, guys. You can be a guitarist like Nita Strauss at any age. Practice Practice Practice and All is coming. Believe that.
whether accidental or from preparation this was great because it didn't have only the same questions/stories us true fans have heard over and over again.
Not quite sure I get the few haters here ...what don't you like about her ?.Nita is a great guitarist, very personable , obviously she's very attractive and is answering the questions honestly and she seems very sweet and genuine, to me anyway ..Thanx Nita ..love ya !!!
I'm a huge Alice Cooper fan, but I ran across this video of this gal and she blew me away! I had no idea who she was! She can play! Unbelievable! I noticed she's a Seahawks fan, saw he sticker under her guitar! My team! I'm now also a fan of her! Nice job!
I got to meet Nita a few times. Once on tour with Alice and on her first solo tour. She's talented, sweet and very cool. Always does a free guitar clinic usually at Guitar Center.
I am admittedly a huge Dave Matthews, Dead, jam band fan. My GF "dragged" me to see Alice Cooper this past Wednesday. I was freakin blown away by Nita's performance and I'm afraid to say it, but damn I'm a fan now!!!
Very down to earth and a really nice person.always humble and gives time when she has it with fans and does guitar clinics..got to meet her and Ryan and actually have one of Ryan's stage worn vest and he's also a a very cool and down to earth guy.
The first time I saw Nita was on Dec 20, 14 at Paladino's playing the third guitar for the Iron Maidens. A few weeks later I saw her again playing with Alice Cooper at the Hard Rock Cafe in Orlando. In that occasion after the show I was waiting for the elevator to exit the venue, when the elevator door opened there was Nita, but she looked so scared.. she stood behind the 'elevator lady' who strongly told us (the people waiting for the elevator) to wait for the next one. I didn't realize it was her, until my wife told me "Hey that's Nita" . When I saw her I just wanted to say "Hi Nita, I saw you on Christmas at Paladinos, you rock" , but maybe that would have made me creepier, and scare her a bit more... lol
Saw Nita with Alice last night @ the Capitol Theater.... it was great, Nita was rockin, I have seen Alice many times and loved the fact they played public animal number 9 and guilty. I worked with Orianthi and Ritchie Sambora, and saw Orianthi with Alice twice, both ladies can riff circles around me.... all great stuff and nice job on this interview. Hoping Alice will do our show Front and Center on PBS one of these seasons it's my dream to work with Alice :)
Saw Alice Cooper for the second time this year just last weekend. 60% of me is there to see Alice. 40% of me is there to see Nita. If I wasn’t watching Alice, I was watching Nita. I could hear and feel the rest of the band; but Alice, Nita, (and at one point, Alice’s wife, Sheryl), steal the show with their presence. Nita is an amazing guitarist and quite the dynamic performer.
Nita I think you rock. I saw you in Des Moines in October , my 3rd time seeing Alice. Got to meet him and wish I could have met you too. You threw a pick right at my husband. You definitely know how to play guitar, I consider you to be the best female guitar player.

Alice Copper will always be the best! Not once have I been able to see him in concert. I'm 57 on the 4th of October this year. But him and his family l love alot.

She's got a sound and her technique's amazing, and she's a really great performer, and it was really cool to see her just be able to flow with older players like myself and Steve and Paul and the younger players like Yvette and the guys from Polyphia. "I just thought it was kinda cool. I just thought, 'That's a mark of someone who's going really far.' Even though she's been a pro for a long time, you know, she's out on tour all the time with Alice Cooper. As a solo artist, I think her time is coming. She's about to explode on the scene."
I actually have a cool gig story like Nita's Slipknot story. I played a local gig, my first outside show. I was just hanging out during intermission, and a guy I didn't know came up to me. It turns out he was a concert promoter, and he told me he had seen my set. He said he had a show a week or two later, and he had to have me on his show. I spent nine years playing that same venue he promoted.
LOL, I was with her when she was practicing non-stop for her tryout. We were on a houseboat and every free moment she had she was playing. She's just a super nice person and very talented.
So much inspiration! I would love to hear you play "Hello Hooray" with Alice🤘 Awesome that Kip helped ya a lil bit, he's an underated vocalist/ musician🤘

I like the fact she is level headed because she knows there are so many technically good guitarists out there just as good and much better than her. Alice Cooper made a genius move keeping his band young with this level talent. I saw them last year at Cynthia Woods Pavilion, Houston. Strauss was on fire.
I was at that same show. She, Alice and the band kicked ass. Much better than when I saw AC in 1980. They were drunk and sloppy back then.
@@Mtns14000 Yes, AC stole the show. Edgar Winter was good. I thought Deep Purple just died out there - no energy, not crisp.
