Alice Cooper is really such a class act. Ever since his recovery he has been the voice of common sense in the rock world.
He admits that another drink would kill him.

I saw him that tour - one of the best concerts I’ve ever seen. Perfect blend of rock and theater.
Alice and his band are in a class by themselves. Every member of that band is an electrifying talent. Nita and Alice are incredible together.
Best part was Cooper knowing what the crowd wants and giving people that show.

It's hard to believe that the first time I became aware of Alice Cooper was back around 1970 and I was 12 yrs old. I am now 61 and he is still rocking and doing a damn fine job of it.
Alice looks like Beetle Juice with that outfits he's wearing. That makes him look even more awesomer than he alreday is!

After watching Alice Cooper and his great band I walked with a lighter step for the rest of the summer. I saw them at our local hotel and they as a whole band couldn't have been nicer. Alice is truly a very unique person. He has been blessed with incredible longevity. That is inspiring to me.
i love Alice's varied career. he did new wave rock, metal, industrial metal. i love the 70's albums the best i think, but "special forces" is a beast. i HIGHLY recommend it
Not many people like his 1980-83 stuff. I love Flush the Fashion, Special Forces and Dada :)
@@jans2887 Their best work in my opinion was done in the '70's. Over the years a lot of their stuff sounds the same.
@@321scully I think 1969 - 1983 was pure gold. Some weaker albums here and there to be sure, but generally very interesting and each album a bit different than the previous one. From Constrictor onward it's been very patchy and sort of unadventurous. I guess some artists thrive on alcohol and drugs...
@@jans2887 Odd statement - considering the different ways he's gone since that time (especially the industrial) I'd have to say he's been quite adventurous, not to mention he has still done concept albums (Along Came a Spider), not to mention his writing has stayed inventive and original.
@@comatoo since that final rehab in 1983 Alice hasn't been the same musically. That sense of weirdness and fun was forever gone. However, there are still some very good albums like Brutal Planet, Dragontown, I also enjoy Hey Stoopid a lot (although it's kind of "watered down Alice") and Dirty Diamonds.
Caught the end his set at graspop, didn't really think to watch the show because it's not really my genre and i know like 2 songs. But it looked really great and fun, gonna catch a full show next time if i ever get the chance again
Do it , his show is awesome, maybe you can watch a full concert on RUclips and see if you like it , the full Paranormal evening show from 2017 is on here or from Hellfest 2022
I highly recommend seeing a full Alice set once in your life. My first time was about 2010-11, loved his show and seen him twice since. Last time was in April just gone
I've only seen cooper once but was lucky enough to catch a show with Clones and Halo of Flies on the set list.

Saw AC live in 2006, 2007 and 2018. Was supposed to see him and the band again in 2020 at the Hollywood Bowl.
I love Alice's band.

His ref to the mid-70's show tour..."Welcome to my Nightmare"....I actually caught, in West Germany, about '73-74. The whole stage was a giant cobweb, giant spider, etc.- and I remember thinking....WHO? What the fuck did I just see?!" Also on the bill were about 15 other acts, including Thin Lizzy and UFO.
Sorry - if it was 73/74 it wasn't the Nightmare show. Also with all the production involved with the Nightmare show (dancers, props, etc) there could not have been 15 other acts. From the web description it very well could have been the Nightmare show a couple years later, but the 15 other acts memory was another time probably.

I have been an Alice fan for about 47 years, I know it scares me just saying it but my first TAPE was Killer, and from watching his interviews I have decided he is one of the most interesting people that I would like to have a beer & a conversation with. I have all the respect in the world for what Religion has done for him and his recovery but I just can't believe an Evangelical like say Vice Pres Mike Pence enjoying what Alice does. No disrespect to anyone mentioned in this post but the life he lives and his Rock n Roll persona just seem to be a complete contradiction?? Not being judgmental just.....I think the word I would use is curious?

He had a Haunted Maze a few years back at Universal's Halloween Horror Nights. I wish it would've been more Alice themed than it was. It was kind of like a maze that they decided they would make Alice Cooper and just put his name on it. I wanted the maze to really be referencing Alice Cooper.
