and vista sp2 didn't even have bugs it was just 7 but 10x better

@@LiveUIClient5048 Contrary to most people opinion I've found WIndows Vista SP2 to be wonderfully stable system way beyond Win XP and early early WIn 7.
Well, my parents upgraded to vista on old Laptop from XP. But then going back to XP, just because "Lags"
The reason upgraded to vista was because for better and more secure internet activities
Vista and XP has a centered security levels. Just XP has no UAC which makes it less secure.
But that's from 2007-2014. After 2014 XP is getting insecure because of the EOL
To be fair, windows xp barely has any malware made for it anymore, but at the drawback of barely any software being made for it

They did that so you'd either backup files or pay an extra amount of money for vista upgrade, then have to worry if the upgrade supports Vista and then 7. However I think there was a patch for the 7 installer so you could upgrade.

Upgrate windows xp to vista then vista to 7
Here's a note for the people, the upgrade option for Windows Vista will be completely disabled if you are running a Windows XP 32-bit version instead of the 64-bit version of Windows XP, meaning that there will be only a custom install option that will completely wipe all your files and apps as well as your settings.

Hey Nobel Tech! In the Welcome Center in Windows Vista, I showed a Dell logo. It showed the VMware loading screen, and using a Dell OEM. So this got me confused. Can you tell me why was that happening?
Maybe you downloaded dell OEM iso?
You used the DELL Oem iso. Use a generic Windows Vista iso that MS provided and not an OEM provided

@@NS_595 Because you used the DELL OEM. You are better off using the Generic MS Vista ISO not the DELL iso or you will see the oem logo is on DELL

It's the Windows Vista logo on the retail box of Windows Vista Ultimate. Back then every Windows Edition had it's own color theme. Home was green, Professional was blue and Ultimate, the most expensive one, was black

There is no direct path for Upgrading Windows XP to Windows 10. But you can do that by doing these
First Upgrade to Windows Vista.
Next Upgrade to Windows 7
Next Upgrade to Windows 8.1
And then do Upgrade to Windows 10
You have to do 8.1 after 7 or programs won't be saved
XP to Vista = trigger (badly)
