Windows Vista was the first Windows OS I used but I don't remember much from it... The only OS I remember memories from was Windows 7! Such an awesome version of Windows! 🥲

Fun fact: Windows 7 is abandonware, so you can find .iso files and product keys everywhere and put it on a VM.

Windows 7 was good memories thus Vista succeeded me in my first computer back in the day, Now I had a good tech person of my mommy's to help fix my tower I had in 07 in 2012 to upgrade from Vista, three years later my PC was exploited by malware and it lasted 8 years, Sadly I had to only replace the tower part of it which was a $400 waste to have it added and hooked into my monitor. Now I got to replace my current OS Windows 10 to a gaming desktop pre-added with Windows 11 in 2024.

Upgrading to Windows (Even not Windows 7) will save your data, but if u install custom yoour data will be removed, so it's better to dual boot ur system if u don't wanna downgrade

The thing most people will do to their Vista machines because they think that it's unstable so they upgraded to 7.
@Maru Angelo Maglalang Santos Not repeatedly, but they probably have SP2 installed and still think Vista is a bad OS because they have outdated hardware and they wanted to upgrade to 7 because they think the hardware requirements for 7 is lower than Vista.
@Maru Angelo Maglalang Santos Even though SP2 fixed everything, most people didn't care to upgrade it and they stuck with RTM or SP1 until Windows 7 arrived. But smart people upgraded to SP2 and they enjoyed it including me.
@Maru Angelo Maglalang Santos When I installed Windows Vista with SP2, it didn't come with IE9, just IE7 so I have to download IE9 seperately.
@Maru Angelo Maglalang Santos I actually have a Windows Vista Ultimate SP2 on VMware and I love it, but it didn't install IE9 so I have to do it by hand which is downloading and installing.

Windows 7 was made because windows vista was bad. Windows vista released SP2 but it never got popular because windows vista's reputation was damaged beyond repair and no one wanted to use it even though vista becomes better than XP or 7.
