Izzy's a likable dude here, humble & charismatic, it's just the seemingly awkward moments he's had in the past being cocky or saying cheesy shit that got ppl hatin on him but we have to understand, were not in the crazy 'fish bowl' like they are. Fame is a LOT harder than ppl realize & u get judged for every thing u do right or wrong according to fickle public opinion. Happy for Izzy that he is proud of himself despite the 'fall from GOAT grace,' if u are happy with yourself, everyone else will agree with you...
Honestly, if Izzy plays the anti-hero card right, he WILL 100% gain more fans than Alex. It's a Vegeta and Goku respect of rivalry. Izzy can be Vegeta and have a SOLID fanbase, and possibly even be bigger than the main character (Alex) fanbase. Everyone knows Goku is the MC and will undeniably be the best, but Vegeta is who more people can relate to--train hard AF no matter what and accept that your best friend (rival) is the strongest... for now. It keeps the fighter motivated to be better. The urge to be better is what makes a man great, which is why Vegeta's stock has been rising exponentially. It's just way more relatable to the masses.

As a former Izzy hater, mad respect to the man. Takes a lot to come to terms with a guy who was your rival, even more to praise the guy. Hope we get to see him put some more bangers out👊🏻
Why did you hate him? I'm really curious to understand the sickness it takes to spew constant hateful messages about someone you've never met based on rumours?
@NoRockinMansLand I think he's just saying he disliked him.
@@SethRD____ well that might be, I assumed he was a "hater"
Not sleeping or underestimating Khalil but man Alex is significantly bigger with longer range, closing the distance is going to give Khalil a constant problem..
many have tried but all have failed
We will see how it goes..
Watching the weasles prediction with roundtree throws hook or over hands with his arm starting behind his back to wind up the power but leaves him open for counters, im thinking a blitz and combo from roundtree and pereira catches him while roundtrees lead hand over extends or projects to much
Love Izzy’s respect for Pereria and love for the fight. He seems so much more comfortable and relaxed. Much love to you both. Thanks Joe, you rock!!
This Is Way Deeper Than What A Lot Of People Think. This Interview Is Great
Izzy may be a tool at times but he doesn’t make excuses and he owns his losses

Alex is naturally 50 lbs heavier that isreal. And has so many tools at his disposal that izzy should have never won once. Big respect.
Exactly
No he's not, actually it was measured once and adesanya was like 3 to 4 pounds lighter when he was on prep, he walks around 218 to 220
@@Sg6CrossOver so why was he 194lbs when he went up to 205
@@user-go2xi7zq5q look up the news around UFC 305, if you think he's not over 194 on fight night you're crazy
it was a fluke, Gynosanya was swinging with his eyes closed, thats why he refused to rematch Alex
With Izzy being so humble, I sometimes wonder if his corny side is just a way to polarize people 😭
Umm he just recently became humble..... have you not seen his cockiness in the past. Did you not just see him spit on someone in public? lol
Probably cuz it feels fairly forced when he is around UFC media
Usually he is chill
Nah he's just fake. Dude has mental issues. He's even said that and that he won't seek therapy until he's done fighting
It’s amazing to me to see the way he talks about these ppl who are some of the biggest rivals he’s had in mma. The rivalry with Alex needs no explanation, the rivalry with dricus was very heated at one time and mostly to dricus’ benefit because it made ppl want to see if he could actually do it, and then the rivalry with Sean just based off Sean getting under his skin and then actually beating him when no one thought he could. Thos 3 have to be his biggest “enemies” in this game, but he talks about all of them with such respect and gives them each their props for beating him. A lot of guys make up excuses and don’t want to admit that the other guy was better, even if they were just better that night. Izzy really understands the game and all the small details that go into winning or losing a fight.
The switch up the ufc community does on fighters is crazy… Izzy will always be the goat
Joe Rogan brings those coaches up with every guest lmao
8:45 never thought he'd say that
Why?
A fair comeback to Joe saying a cardio camp is the answer, Tony Ferguson vs Paddy.
A lot more going on with Tony than cardio camp, he’s been cooked for years already. Aside from a fluke win there is no point in recent years he would have beaten Paddy
I usually don’t like Izzy interviews but loved this one. Props to Izzy
Izzy’s assessment of the Roundtree/Pereira fight was just about spot on, that’s about exactly what happened!
It would be cool if we could have UFC fighter bone density stats
Alex is #1

Roundtree doesn't have a big gas tank, a lot of muscle for a 205 6'1 fighter. The other thing is that the high altitude will make him gas even more, he has to go fast for the first 2 rounds, if not, it's going to be over for him.

Love the respect Izzy is giving to his opponents.
I trained at glovers gym when he was training to fight izzy in the ufc the first time and he was a force even at 185… now that he’s bigger than me and im 6’3” 230 lbs 😂
