Also the fact that $12,000 USD is enough for someone from Dagestan to live off of for years. If your from Dagestan and winning 2 UFC fights a year at the minimum pay that's $24,000 USD and in Dagestan that makes you rich. In USA, Canada, Australia, or most parts of Europe that is nothing, can't even survive 6 months on that and people in those countries are well educated with lots more better opportunities to make way more money elsewhere...it just doesn't make much sense financially to be a MMA fighter if you're from a coutry with a good education system and a strong economy but guys from Dagestan don't have those luxuries so chasing an MMA career actually does make sense for them.
Like where I'm from, there are MMA fans but no one wants to be an MMA fighter. It would make no sense when I can choose an easier career where I'll be paid more.

Wow, that last point of not being afraid is spot on. I am 43 now and have never been in a fight. Avoid confrontation with everyone. Its who i am. Its who my parents are.
Avoid confrontation bc it could escalate and you can get arrested, have a criminal record and ruin the rest of your life. Just walk away.
That is how i think in the moment even when someoem tries to physically intimidate me in my own home, car and property like an ex cop did to me when i hired him to do a job.
I re-live that day over and over in my head. But if i did something, he would have taken it to another level. I know he had a gun on him too. You just never know the outcome. That could have been my last day if i did something. So many people live their lives as if they have nothing to lose. They dont care about gettinf arrested, going to prison and dying on a moments notice.
I dont think any disrespect is worth all of that.

      @1Deep43VA 5 месяцев назад +2

Out of all the fights I’ve got in, none of them lead to jail. And even the ones that were in jail (non related) we never got caught or in trouble.
I understand fear though. I live inside my head. I have anxiety about most things when it comes to other human interaction… and when things go left, the only way I’ve learned to deal with this it, is to hit the other person (only men obviously) Disrespect is the one thing I cant go along with. Just goes to show you how different we all are

    • @1Deep43VA

      @@MilkyWayGalaxyy No.
Situations that could’ve been handled a different way, but because of my fear and anxiety, it often lead me to punching that person who cause said situation. An example being, a guy mocking me in front of a group of people. The anxiety of not wanting to be the center of attention, to have everyone looking at me, would cause me to punch the person mocking me instead of thinking of a different approach.
I’m not saying I went around punching people. I’m just trying to say, when certain situations happened, that’s how I reacted. And I’m not saying I won every fight either.
I guess, I was thinking in terms of situations like you mentioned with the cop. Those are the times I would react like that and often times it had to do with anxiety and fear and a lack of coping mechanisms.

    • @MilkyWayGalaxyy
      @MilkyWayGalaxyy 5 месяцев назад

@1Deep43VA yeah, idk man. I am the complete opposite. People have disrespected me on my own property and in my own car like the ex cop I did business with, tried to physically intimidate me with his bad cop routine.
I ignore it. Don't even say anything about it. In hidn sight, I should call people out on their BS, disrespect etc bc then they still feel entitled to a tip after. But even looking back on it, he was a cop...he definitely had a gun whether it be on his person or in his car.
People are so hypocritical. They disrespect you but would never tolerate someone else disrespecting them in the same way.
I think the fundamental point I am trying to make is that almost everyone you come across is a POS, out for themselves, will use you, disrespect you in some way and never give you anything.
Women use men for free stuff. Men disrespect other men by trying to act hard all the time. I act hard too and need to stop it. It's okay to smile around other men.

Mental and morals aren't much appreciated these days, people keep getting distracted by porn, food, the neediness to get recognized, and not happy seeing someone else success. Focus on the goal and keep yourself from distracted (as Muslim you remember Allah and pray 5 times a day) prevent any negative thought to destroy your life.

Just started school for carpentry with this kid half my age from Afghanistan. Looks like these Dagestan guys. Cauliflower ears. Turns out we'd bath started at the same Muay Thai club. People thought he was experienced, but he'd bever kicked anything. Wtestlung, bjj, boxing.
He bought me lunch (as my Muslim mates like doing), and I drive to pick him up to take him to training.
In the car he cuts me off asking about some technique snd he said its all in the mind. All of it. Youre aiming to destroy, dominate, be the best, be calm, have fun (pain is his fun).
He trains at the gym, then school, then I sparred with him before training (first time I ever sparred), and he clipped me, I clipped him behind the ear, and I'm a 40 year old dude giggling, getting punched in the nose by a 21 year old, and this kud just makes it really fun.
In training he did pushups when everyone else drank and puffed. Smiled. "Dis is good".
    He trained after...
Does he want to fight professionally? Doesn't know. He gets good at everything to be the best, and to enjoy the pain along the way. A duck in water is this kid in suffering. Its a normal element, like air. What others would consider to be hellish physical states.
It is a superior mindsett. He convinced me 40 is nothing. Hes a liability 😂, but the good sort, where youre forced to achieve, defend, think, fight.
I will miss him when he moves on to bigger things but till then I'm driving him to every training 😅
People talk so much about having hardness but forget how easy it is to get through it by having fun, and having that generosity of spirit. True hardness!

Great words by DC, he ended up going on a tangent there, but I'm glad that he did.
It's good to remind that behind the "sport" of MMA there's the martial arts and how much of an important part of the life of someone they can be.
And some of us don't like when people turn those things into part of a circus.
People are paying more to go watch a farse cosplay as a boxer and fight retired older men. It enrages me so much.

In Dagestan they wrestling in family lineage for hundred of years. Vilage vs village and is in their DNA double-leg when they get on this world . Even goats and sheep in those mountains knows single, double leg... 😮
    Their dominion is overwhelming.
Champion of 5 villages is ready for the Olympics. High in the mountains the air is so thin but they were born in there and is so much easy for them to go down by the sea and fight then somebody who's going to up high. I know that, I was in the similar position.

Yeah 50 years they have been dominating wrestling and the entire world cant beat em just because Russians are the only ones with juice. 😂😂 Not because their discipline is next to none, not because they dont drink, gamble, chase women, party none of that. DC just told u their routine and ur crying ass thinks all of that is because of “Russian juice”. Lol
