How more you watch khabibs old fights and seen his interviews how more you notice how great he realy was as a fighter. Fighting iq is above elite. He plays the way the fight wil go in his head and he does it. This show’s the gameplan he had to give dustin the neck to empty the gastank and finish him in such a smooth way. You cant be relaxt in a shocke like that and not even trying to get out off if it wasnt planned.

U can tell who started watching mma during covid. Khabib is the most dominant fighter I’ve ever seen in any combat sport. U can count the rounds he lost on one hand. I think islams fight with volk is 5 rounds of domination if it’s khabib. U had to watch him live to truly understand his aura.
Crazy thing is all those guys Khabib beat are still legit contenders and possible champs, but then again, Khabib's young brody Islam is there to defend that honour. If Khabib was still around he would still dominate them and I hate seeing Khabib vs Dustin 2 and all those silly rematches.

For me it is a toss up between Jones and Khabib. Jones has more title defences and 2 belts and he beat Daniel Cormier on cocaine. But he has been pinged for PEDs and had a few close decision wins against Gustafson and Reyes off the top of my head. Khabib made a lot of good fighters look mediocre at best. If we could combine Jones' talent and Khabib's work ethic , Batman would be out of a job

The only fight I was truly upset I never saw from khabib was gsp. Khabib steamrolls Tony 9/10 times if that fight happens. I think he does the same to gsp but for his legacy that would’ve silenced majority of his doubters
