People saying Alex running from Ankalaev are crazy. I am Ankalaev only had 1 win in almost 2 years and zero. Who case if he’s top 5 he’s never gotten a win against a top five fight. Alex has beating the last 3 champs in a row before this fight beating 3 of the top 5 guys. Ankalaevs other problem is he is making demands like he’s the champ saying when and where Alex has to fight him. He’s the contender and title challenger not the champ he does call the shots.

Alex Pereira has certain tremendous attributes that help him to succeed:
-Height 6"5-6"6, reach 83+ (definitely not 79) and long legs, wide chest and shoulders that generate power.
-apparently above average cardio and good chin.
-long striking experience and efficiency when throwing shots.
    -hard work and dedication.
these attributes are quite unique to all be combined in one fighter.
Most of his opponents can't match these attributes, so they absolutely need to take him down to improve their odds of winning.
One of the few MMA fighters that can match his physical attributes is probably Francis Ngannou, but unfortunately Francis lacks the cardio and Experience.
