      It wasn't fair at all, though. Round 2 Alex started hitting much harder and they didn't agree to escalate. So that put the boxer in very shitty situation: to respond in kind and hit as hard but risk injuring Alex or to be a pussy and just let them make a fool of you for money.

      After watching this sparing I have to say that if Alex's sparing partner had started using his power instead of holding back to protect Alex for his fight, he would have taken him out. That dude hit Alex's chin on the regular while defending his own well. Alex should be embarrassed.

    • @DivineAtheistWannabe
      @DivineAtheistWannabe 6 месяцев назад +5

      @@montyrayza7220 Alex is always prone to getting punched in the face, especially by boxers, due to his style and hand placements. However in a kickboxing scenario it changes the game a bit. And his gameplan is kind of to bait more shots to the front (like jabs that are the easiest to land) anyway so he can land a quick left hook from the side. All he needs is to touch you with minimal wind up and you're going to sleep.
      So you may think you're scoring some easy jabs on him, but you're going to go night night if you're not careful.
      In an mma scenario, I'm going to guess that Alex is looking to destroy Jiri's calf again like he did the first time, since Jiri is so heavy on the lead leg and did indeed get destroyed by the first round. Hence why he may be sparring a southpaw here, because he's probably banking on Jiri having to switch to his off-stance pretty early? Just guessing.

    I love Alex’s style. He doesn’t bob and move his head too much like most boxers, making him very difficult to get counter attacked. He keeps his posture very centerlined which is the reason why his punches are scary.

    Se está puliendo en su boxeo, se vio claramente en ufc 307, su movimiento de cabeza, así como combinaciones con golpes al cuerpo, fueron claramente superiores a su rival. Algo nuevo en el y una evolución que es agradable de ver, seguirá mejorando y llegará a ser el verdadero Goat de la UFC. No soy fan, pero merece todo el respeto por su gran esfuerzo y avance dentro del deporte.
