    I was doing your exercises a couple of years ago and it really helped with functional core development. I’ve since stopped BJJ but revisited this routine today and it’s a great motivator to get back on the mats 💪 thank you!

      We need a strong core to do everything. And we all need BJJ to be a complete martial artist!

  • @thatkindofguy234
    @thatkindofguy234 4 года назад +4

    how many rounds of this would you do? Just 1?

    • @H2OMMAGYM
      @H2OMMAGYM  4 года назад +3

      I really liked pushing this training to 3 rounds to get the best ab burn and to get in more reps of the bjj techniques. But this all depends how you feel after the first round and also how much time you have.

      @@H2OMMAGYM alright thanks, I thought because I'm a blue belt and train every day (before lockdown) I would smash this, it destroyed me within 1 round hahaha

    When i do the leg raises with my palms on the floor like that, i feel my neck doing the work instead of my core

    • @H2OMMAGYM
      @H2OMMAGYM  3 года назад +1

      That is normal in this BJJ style ab training. The neck is often not being used in normal day life. But in BJJ it's super important to use your neck and keep your head it off the ground for defence and submission attempts. As long as your not feeling injured keep at it, your doing great. Eventually your neck will get used to it and you'll start feeling your abs more!
