Every time Cody Anderson has defied the odds with his strength 6.Vellner and Fraser taking a dive on the obstacle course 7. Dave Castro telling everyone they had to run back at the 2020 ranch run 8. #1 and #2 were spot on. Bridges finish still gives me chills, Mat coming from behind on the sprint is so incredible to me. I’m glad the cameraman is fast but don’t take away from the magic of Mat’s moment that he summoned something from within and found another level.
How can Tia&Mat holding their hands and crossing the finish line together in 2020 CrossFit games final not be on this list? And also the sprint between Mat & Samuel Kwant in sled push in 2020 games?
BKG's Murph in 2015 was unreal, especially in that heat where they had a couple athletes having to pull out due to heat stroke. Also Margaux Alvarez in the Marathon Row event
@@lordhallibel3604 Are you one of those poor persecuted crossfitters? Will no one admire your rhabdomyolysis and tell you they think it's really cool? Did your dad tell you that your kipping looks fruity? I'm sorry, man. They're all just fat lazy and jealous of your hustle mentality.
Ben Smith in 2015 completing his 2nd lift in the clean and jerk event as well as Ben Smith walking off heavy DT like he just finished stretching still gives me chills!!!!! Also the commentary on the Cinco with Froning hand-stand walkin his way to a 3rd straight was epic
There should have been more Froning moments! I miss that guy in the indivuals Also, one of the most memorable moments for me was when Sam Briggs outran Brent Fikowski “just because she could” 😂
2016 it was a incredible year for the games! Those 2 last moments were the greatest of all time for sure, but for me, marston and mat's run were far iconic, still gives me goos.
Rich Froning falling off the ropes to lose his rookie year is my most iconic. Ben Smith beating out Frazer in the final event to win the games(The commentary was on point with superman references).
@@matthewberkin5924 thanks for sharing friend. That’s awesome that you knew Jesse Owens. But with any and all athletics, PED’s and other performance enhancing drugs will always be there. It’s up to science and drug testing to punish those that use. 🤷🏻♂️ I just think it would be a hell of a lot more entertaining to watch than a quarter of the events that take place. Thanks for your input and congrats on making it to 90! 💚
There s really somethings epic in that sport... like a living mithology I hope we could get again the full audience for the events that give a so amazing atmosphere
I bet if it wasn't because of youtube's algorithm, the most upvoted comment would be something like "crossfit is the most stupid thing on earth"... And that would be accurate.
Hard to argue with that #1. Josh Bridges didn't just win that Murph, he obliterated the field. I know the 2020 games isn't really a moment, but what Mat and Tia did is still a little hard to comprehend. On the second day the other guys were already saying they couldn't let Mat win every event. They were so much better than everyone else in the world that year. It just wasn't even competitive. It was Secretariat at Belmont or Tiger at Pebble Beach in 2000 kind of stuff.
My favourite moment of all the games was 2015 when then Kara Webb (now Saunders) competing in Murph. She may not have won it, but that dedication to the event was outstanding. By the time that she was in the last run, her body went auto pilot and her conscious mind was not present. The heat, the exhaustion, the fatigue, everything that day was hectic. But what makes the community great, is that when she collapsed over the finish line, somone was there with water to help her and made sure she was all good.

Sam Briggs in the sledge event ...beating everyone. I love her
the 7... my heart's broken in this moment
Sam Briggs' high fives defined me as a Crossfitter - every time I go out of a run in a WOD I high five everyone because of her
I would say Rich Froning's Sunday charge in 2013 and 2014 was pretty epic as well.
@@callsofscv The midline march domination was so good.

yeah he had to slow down to get the shoot haha
If I'm not mistaken that's Marston Sawyers, one of the Buttery Bros and a good athlete as well.
Toomey looking juicest
hi
Did anyone else catch a young Tia-Clair Toomey and Shane Orr in the crowd as fans at 4:15 before she ever made it as a competitor?
ow!!! nice!
Nice spot
Shane wearing a Froning shirt too!
Wow good catch!
Took me a second but I saw them! That’s awesome!!

Fraser and toomey doing Atalanta side by side as they both had the win locked up was one of the best

Julie Foucher’s handstand walk in a boot? That was one of the most powerful moments in CrossFit history.
