Hello guys! the weather will be better now, and that means more activities for you to do, and enjoy. Please stay put in the Visayas region in the month of January, because you need to experience the TWO major FESTIVALS in the PH. Its the SINULOG in Cebu City, and the DINAGYANG in Iloilo City. Both are held in January. You do not want to miss these, it will be life changing for the both of you, I promise. There will be lots of festivals all around the PH from January to May ( Summer ) I'm so glad you'll be in the PH within these months, just keep up with the festivals, and you'll have the time of your lives. Take Care!

So good to hear that you love the Philippines that you're even staying longer. Thank you for your rave reviews. Suggestions for your continued stay here:
    1. Experience how Christmas is celebrated here.
    2. Many major fiestas happening in January - Ati-Atihan in Kalibo, Sinulog in Cebu, Dinagyang in Iloilo.
    3. Visit Corregidor, a 1-hr ferry ride from Manila. Better even to stay overnight.
    4. Visit Batanes in Northern Philippines. Quite pricey flights but well worth it.
    5. Adventure trip to Mount Pinatubo.

    1. You are not afraid to try things yourselves!

    3. You may not easily get disappointed when things turn a bit unfavorable. It is important in life especially when exploring. Disappointment hinders growth and development. There is always a sunrise after a sunset.

Genuinely immersed to what the Philippines has offered you from day 1 and for the remaining three months of exploring, I'm pretty sure you feel the same.
I'm watching you guys in real time - Philippine time now cuz we're here to spend our Christmas and enjoy our homeland vacation.
Keep enjoying and take care my lovely couple Brit friends. ❤️🤗

I wonder if you have tried to do a four wheel drive in the small desert in the North of the Philippines, or tried surfing at the beaches of La Union Province in the North as well? Every year, usually Early March of the year, at the Clark Freeport zone, Pampanga Province, there is an International Hot Air Balloon Festival, you may wish to go. By. The way, I am not sure if you have gone to the city of Dumaguete. That is a place that many Filipinos call the Expat city, due to the fact that so many expats have decided to live there for the rest of their lives.

    • @TravelstoFreedom

We have not done the four wheel drive yet but have heard about it and would love to visit and do it one day! The Hot Air Balloon Festival sounds really amazing I would love to see that.
Yes we will definitely be visiting Dumaguete at the start of next year :)

Thank you for all the positive feedback guys! Tbh, i was actually surprised at the first 2 coz as you said, those are the common "complaints" i hear from other foreign vloggers hehe. But glad you actually experienced the opposite!
But guys, there's one more thing you haven't experienced yet here in PH... the many jubilant fiestas or festivals we have! The biggest of which is Sinulog Festival in Cebu held every January. It's one giant party in the streets. Other major festivals in January are Ati-Atihan in Aklan and Dinagyang Festival in Iloilo City. My favorite which i've been too here in Luzon is the Pahiyas Festival in Quezon Province held every May where they decorate the houses with "kipings" (colored rice paste shaped into leaves) and all kinds of produce. Everywhere you look is just bursting with color. Other unique ones are Panagbenga Flower Festival in Baguio and Higantes Festival in Angono, Rizal. Maybe try to check online for others that might be on in the areas you will be visiting as there are festivals here year round. It truly is MORE FUN IN THE PHILIPPINES! 🇵🇭
