JFK It's one thing to come on to youtube, and down and talk trash about Filipina vloggers, but it's something totally different to actually do something for your own people. This is the contrast between MYK's Philippine Journey and the Filipina Pea. One trashes Filipina vloggers, calls people names, uses copyrighted material, has gotten his channel terminated by youtube, while the other vlogger treats people with the dignity and respect they deserve, the evidence is overwhelmingly clear which vlogger is doing right by her people!

It is a great idea but I hope it also comes with a good bout of some education. What I find happens a lot with these small Filipino businesses is, the owners end up spending not just the profit but the working expenses as well. Seems the idea is if you bring in 500 peso for the day then you can spend 500 peso on something else instead of setting aside operating expenses. The other biggest issue I find is the expectation of giving free to family and friends, which also ends up eating into your operating expenses. I don't feel there is a lack of viable businesses in the Philippines but more a lack of understanding of how money actually works. Just having money in hand does not mean spending that money in hand.
Maybe, with competition, they will perform. Donald J Trump successfully used competition in his TV series, "The Apprentice."

Not just in the Philippines. I see here in the USA some people have a head for business and some do not. Some cannot grasp the difference between gross revenue versus net profit after expenses.

I am following a rural Phillippina that make YT vids. She doesn’t speak perfect English but it improves for every vid and her vids are really relaxing for me working as a software professional in a big city. More girls should value their life more and how interesting it is for guys in the western world!

I don't know about the legal implications of where and when they can pop this style business up for location, but I think I would try setting up near an Okia Okia store. From what you talked about in earlier videos, Filipinos LOVE cold drinks and Okia Okia stores, so why not put them close together?

First I used an international small loan company to build a sari sari
I thought I’d skip the middleman and invest directly. It didn’t always work out. I’d say their motives were questionable and it didn’t work out.
People are the same in the USA. You either have the hustle or you don’t.
Hope your project generally works. It would be nice if a few hundred people ended up earning money in a sustained fashion. Someone else posted about proper education in handling a business, reinvesting and such. Best wishes.

Charging for a portable C.R.? Hmmm... Just don't set up next to any bushes, or an isolated wall. You might not do so well. Perhaps you should charge for use of the tabo and bar of soap, since TP is not as prevalent in the PH. Might I also suggest the "Royal Flush" as an alternative name for this enterprise?

Hi Pea, it's great idea to keep setting up new businesses so long as not to many do same thing in same area. When you think about In UK, you would need a licence and pay for permission for each plot you set up on and be inspected by food and health and safety people often or be shut down with heavy fine. Wishing these guys and girls every success and lovely gesture to pay for their final exams. 👍😀

Congratulations to all contestants for a job well done. Filipinos do love Milk Tea, so I expected her to win, but all are winners to have a profit on the first day. And it seems that it wasn't a full day of selling, just a few hours. So I"m excited to see how well they do in the coming weeks. People don't know how hard it is to earn even $10 a day here in the Philippines. We had day laborers who earn P300 each day and the foreman earned P500 for a long day of hard work.

Although I saw lot of your videos, and some other videos from Philippines, I can't totally understand it from Philippines perspective. Yna has profit of 792 Pesos, which is about 13 euros. I don't doubt that for Philippines standard this is good, but I still can't understand how. I know everything is cheaper on Philippines, and Filipino people are creative on small budget living. Still it is hard to understand.
How about the law on Philippines. You said you have permission to be there. Do you need to pay for selling beverages or is permission enough? Do you need to pay some tax on profit?
I know about Filipino love of basketball. Here Filipinos have their basketball leagues. Even their own team jerseys. On local Filipino Facebook groups, you don't need to scroll much to find video of basketball. Also I know Filipina who is selling something similar to ice cream (frozen juice or something) on basketball matches. She say she earn fine money. So I don't doubt you choose fine location.

Yes, you have to get a business permit, but it’s only around $10 per month.
And all Filipino citizens have to pay taxes on their earnings 👍
Absolutely great as you gave them all an Opportunity and started them off well as it is a Fabulous business idea and the portability of the stands means they can take it to all kinds of busy places where people are thirsty and hot. Tod give them the aded bonus at the end of this first day also helps them in the long term while being able to meet their daily life expenses. You gave them a fishing pole and hopefully they run with it; follow-up would be interesting to see who grows or expands as owning your own business you try to fill the need of a specific niche and run with that specialty. Good Luck to all 3 and if i see them around the Dumaguete area i will definitely stop and patronize. I live in Valencia but Girlfriend lives by Robinsons Mall.

those coffees in the usa run about 450-600 pesos.. not 39.(coffee is expensive in most places, only cheap coffee, if you found it in your trip here,, McDonalds.. still about 120 pesos or so )..... the soda stop,, would be... 150-200 pesos...
the royaltea..... probably 250-300 pesos... all kind of guessing, but, yea,, knowing what a vendor on the street might charge..
i'd be buying the royal tea, and maybe the soda stop.. ( i dont drink coffee "anything".. lol )..

My friend worked for this guy in Seattle back in the 90's. One of his businesses was a coffee trailor. He sold coffee and pre packaged pastries. That's it. He did over 2 million US in business per year from one trailer. Of course coffee is a huge business in the US, but the potential is there too I'm sure.
I hope it works out for them. I remember another vloger marknowhereman gave business to fillippinos and they all failed........
