I had a 2003 Top Gun with 525's and added Whipple's to it. Thats when I started going through drives. You can not up grade one with out up grading the drives. Most fun boat to do some wake jumping in. When you start getting big air and hammering the throttles on re-entry is when you start breaking drives or just running hard in the ocean. Lakes are nothing for that boat. Enjoy!

You must not know any other brands because that distinctive sound is just through hall exhaust and many offshore brands have the same thing, but I understand this is a car channel and a lot of your subscribers are probably not real familiar with offshore boats. This is not a race boat. This would be considered a poker run pleasure boat. But regardless it is still bad a**And there's a whole lot more responsibility on the water that you need to have even more so than dealing with hot rods. In my opinion, so boat safe and take it slow. While you're learning, it's definitely not the best boat to learn with but Hey if you got the money. I probably would skip a few steps as well

Hope to run into you guys at LOTO and check out the Cig sometime. Your number one event to prioritize should be the Shootout at the end of August. That’s the Mecca for performance powerboating. Check out the Support Our Troops Poker Run as well. That’s coming up at the end of June and draws in a lot of the performance boats from all over the country as well.

I miss my Formula 382 Fastech. I bought her on Lake of the Ozark and enjoyed the boat with the family here on Beaver Lake in NW Arkansas, which is soooo quiet compared to Lake of O. That said, I sold my rig when I built a lake home as I only had 20 foot slips in the boat dock that I bought, and didn't want to moor a boat at a marina. Enjoy that boat, it's the best bad investment you'll ever make!

Some boats steer from the left, or port side so a better way to remember is that "left" and "port" both have 4 letters. However, most fresh-water, weekend boaters rarely use the terms "port" and "starboard" so you'll likely just confuse whomever is on your boat on any given weekend. lol

You don't like Finnegan's Garage Mike from Roadkill and his youtube channel has twin turbo boat content now and then and now owns a new boat he drag races in comps with a NA 632. Game Over had a Sonny 732CI Twin turbo motor he never got working wright, but was fun to watch him do test passes though.
looks like you pulled into franky and louie's at the end. I didn't have big boat money, but had a trailer there for years. Could be wrong, a lot of the lake looks alike. Cool boat, good for you work pays off.
While that's definitely true, there is a buuutt to this. Smaller is mucho easier to handle, in a bunch of different situations. Gross tonnage is a factor that can be overwhelming. Trailering, just manuavering around a dock, sandbar, shoreline, whatever. Small boats pop up on plane, that's fun. More maneuverable. Course, all that being said, bigger is better on the water. :)

He started with them right after Cigarrete boat change ownership to Skip Braver (2002) This company had only two great owner Don Anarrow the founder and Skip Braver. Right now the quality of the boat under the new ownership it’s not the same!

Interesting you posted this. While I was down there this past Memorial Day I was watching a recent Cleeter video. It just so happened they were working on his mini jet boat. And then I was struck with a brilliant idea! Mini Jet boats on the Lake of the Ozarks! Maybe invite ole Cleeter up for a visit this summer and try it out. Might be a cool build!

However, in the offseason and non-holiday weekends it isn't that bad. And some of those coves lead back to rivers. Which could be super fun! Honestly i don't know the geography well enough to know of a place off hand. But might be worth some exploration.

My uncle has the same boat when he put the strainers on boat he is a 40 year captain has owned many race boats make a long story short he forgot 2 to turn strainers on, cooked the strainers, cooked the finish on the headers twice he since had a company rewire the strainers so they will turn on when enginea start dont forget to turn on the strainers

Not insulting you by no means I’ve just seen over the years of people buying boats like these and don’t have a clue how to handle their vessel and seen them ruin others by not knowing the boat. I just refitted my 42ft Fountain with paint, interior, gauges, sound system, 3 supercharged engine’s along with outdrives! Best boat I’ve ever owned and has never left me stranded. If you want to have some real good times join the FL Powerboat Club. We have poker runs year around. Congrats on the new boat and stay safe!

I flip through your videos. I haven't seen another boating video. There's a lot too boating that you really don't know until you do it. I wonder if you found out some of that stuff and didn't like it as much as you thought or if maybe your viewers just didn't like it.
