He was one of the family favorite actors. I only recently found out that he was only about a month younger than my mother. Unfortunately, she passed 4 months ago. May both RIP.
I remember him from the Bob Newhart show back in the 70s, his tv wife was Suzanne Pleashette, I used to watch it every Saturday night at 9:30 PM right before the Carol Burnett show. Saturday nights was a good night to watch television back in the 70s.
He was also the voice actor of the Mouse Bernard in the 1977 Walt Disney Animated Movie "The Rescuers" and the 1990 Walt Disney Animated Movie "the Rescuers Down Under".
What about the other show Bob Newhart did called "George and Leo"? It short lived but in one episode he was reunited with cast members from his other two shows.
I love the opening of the Bob Newhart Show when He Picks up the Telephone and says "Hello?" And The music starts!
Rest In Peace, Bob Newhart! You were the greatest comedy legend ever and I will never forget you!

Just stood there and made us laugh😢😢😢
Just goes to show that decent, clean, cuss-word free, non-mean comedy can STILL be funny!!
