Ever since I was very little, my mom and I always watched Newhart together. Then, when I was 12 Nick at Nite started playing the Bob Newhart Show and I watched them as well. And now, I'm proud to say I have both series on DVD. Bob Newhart has always been a huge part of my childhood back in the 1980s. And luckily, I got to see him perform live at the Northern Quest Casino. It was so surreal to see a TV icon like him in person. And his act was comedy gold. He will be sorely missed. But on the bright side, at least he's reunited with his friends and co-stars that has departed this earth as well. Rest in Peace BOB.
The ending of the series "Newhart" was genius! When Bob woke up next to Suzanne Pleshette and tried to explain the dream to her, "I owned an inn in Vermont, and our maid was an heiress. We had a handyman who couldn't fix anything, and there were these three woodsmen...." It was even funnier if you recognized the twist was a satire of the TV series "Dallas" where Bobby Ewing was killed off, then returned an entire season later when his wife Pam found him in the shower when she woke up, so the entire previous season was supposedly just Pam's dream! "Newhart" is my favorite ending to a TV series. Rest in Peace, Bob. Thanks for the laughs.

I grew up knowing his comic monologues inside out. I loved them as my father did and I love them still. That's the great thing about 'funny'. It has no sell by date. It never goes out of fashion. Thank you Bob for the memories and the laughs. RIP.
I was lucky enough to see Bob Newhart live in the early 2000's. Such a great talent, I am deeply saddened by his passing. Rest in peace Mr. Newhart.
Rest In Peace Bob Newhart, he was my favorite actor, and my grandma's favorite
More importantly, Jesus saves sinners! God bless you!!
Rest in Peace, Bob Newhart. Though I was too young to remember his TV shows, he always made me laugh in "Elf" and "The Big Bang Theory."

Always loved Bob...
No words.
So sad. RIP Bob. Your Walter Raligh sketch is legendary. England loves you....!
I hate saying goodbye to all my childhood idols. 😢
This man's wonderful understated humor and presence in the world meant so much to me. R.I.P. Bob
Outwardly, he couldn't have seemed more ordinary and everyday, but his humor and wit had a charisma all their own, enough to drive what I think is the greatest sitcom of all time - The Bob Newhart Show. Still watching
R.I.P. Bob Newhart 😢❤
😢 R.I.P. Bob, you will be missed.
There will never be another like him. His wholesome brand of comedy without foul language or reference to sex was so honest and refreshing. Thank you for making us laugh for so many years. RIP
Rest in Peace! Bob. I use to love The Bob Newhart Sitcoms Both of them. The older one and the newer one were both my Favs!!!! ❤❤❤❤🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽

RIP Mr. Newhart you will be missed😢😢😢
I've watched Bob Newhart for the last 60 years (I'm 71 now) ...he's one of the greatest comedians ever!!
Thank you Sir for the laughter you’ll be missed, I’m so happy you’ve reunited with your wife again.
One of the all time greats. You will be missed.
I was in my early 20's and I loved Newhart. I saw every episode, I liked Bob's dry sarcastic wit. Rip Bob, Up there with Peter Scolari and Tom Poston again, and your wife. Thank you for the laughter
Bill Daley gets to pester Bob again too
@@Itelkner How tactless of me I forgot to mention Mary Fran as well who died young in 1997.
@@RFKFANTS67 The great Mary Fran!
Oh I’m heart broken. I just loved Bob Newhart. ❤ RIP 😢
I actually just wrote a letter to Bob Newhart earlier this month congratulating him on the 95 years he spent in the field of stand up comedy, and I certainly hope it got to him in time and that he got to read it. RIP bob Newhart, The Bob Newhart Show and Newhart were some of my favourite sitcoms growing up, and he is going to truly be missed.
That was very nice of you.
Grew up on a farm in Pa in the 1970s, watched him every Sat night at 930 and dreamed of going to work in an office, living in an apt in the city and being married to Suzanne Pleshette. Got everything but Suzanne. RIP Bob Newhart, my quiet funny hero ❤😊
Another giant has left us. Loved his sense of humour. Bought his vinyl L.P.'s back in the day, and wore them out. RIP, Sir, your legion of fans salute you.
Mr. Newhart is brilliant. "Is" not "was." Bob Newart couldn't keep a smile off my face. We love you, Bob!
I grew up watching the Newhart series and it was one of my favourite series. He was one of a kind and will be sorely missed. May you Rest In Peace, Bob.
R.I.P. Mr. Newhart. You were the best, touching fans with your wit, class, and humility. You will be missed... but never forgotten.
Rest in peace, he was part of my childhood while watching elf every Christmas with my family
RIP Bob Newhart. You will always be my favorite stand-up comedian 💐
The mold was thrown away when they made Bob. I loved his humor that was on time and natural. It was real intertainment with great characters back in those years. Thanks for all the laughter Bob 💕 💖🕊
the Button down mind, the original Bob Newhart show was one of the best written comedy shows ever. He was an original and never talked down to or dumbed himself down for his audience. I'm sad he's passed, I'll miss him.
