"It's busy cos Ken Dodd's been on " ?? LMAO !
Tying up 7 officers to deal with people who can't handle their alcohol seems like a much better use of resources than employing half a dozen and their dog to explore a lake looking for teenagers who are disturbng nobody because they have a bit of cannabis.
The police are obliged to follow the law. They don't write the law
Guys speaking fax
"She's waiting for trained negotiators - but there's a problem. Ken Dodd's in Town".
I guess he would have said:
-Jump jump jump jump BACK UP!

Cop says “Scarborough, you can see the sunset, setting over the sea…”
Not in Scarborough, you can’t, mate. Sunrise, yes, it comes straight up over the North Sea, but your Western horizon has got Yorkshire and Lancashire between it and any sea.
maybe not in scarborough but deffo in whitby as it faces north
😅
Watching the cops spray each other was pretty funny...
13:00 Ken Dodd has finished early. That must’ve been a record for him 😂😂
I believe "act your age." might be less persuasive than a lovely taste of Taser.🤣
Beautiful countryside and coast.
how can you see the sunset over the water in scarborough??? its on the east coast.
You can look over the sea and watch it set (over the land ) from the peninsula 🙂
thanks for posting
Good policework, nice society with a good relation between public and officers. It was like this in Sweden until early 1990s 😢
IT'S NOW SWEDISTAN !
This is from the bill era, was recorded in 2009.
Soon you all live under the sharia law there, rofl.
@@salazarreach1636 Why is that funny? It's not the general public that allowed all of those immigrants in!
This is old... takes up to an hour now for a 999 response and thats if they respond. A lot of the time its just spend 40 mins on hold to get a crime number. Only getting worse...
Sergeant Lloyd is a right charmer.....
Loved Scotland. 🇦🇺
living in Birmingham, watching this is like the film Hot Fuzz
Wow i found the British version on Cops here in the united states. Gonna open a beer and watch this
I'm smoking Ganja greetings from the Inland Empire
No firearms ... it's great
@@shellc6743 LOL i live in London and police shot and killed someone 5 minutes away from me last week. But yeah "no guns" i guess
@@shellc6743 They have better guns than most SWAT teams
love that sgt lloyd...never yells or shouts................awesome
apparently in scarborough the sun rises and sets in the same place
I’ve lived in Scarborough for 4 years now and I don’t even know if that’s true or not😂
Worse then herding Cats drunk people are.
Good morning to all and Aloha from Maui! 😎
Good morning and another beautiful island and scenery ❤️
@@theresarasche3173 Aloha! 😁
Shut up from freezing Detroit
Aloha Maui 😁
The bloke in the yellow shirt will think he's had a great night.
We have a Tobermory in Ontario. It's a well known scuba diving place.
And in Toronto , we have a legal pot shop on every corner. To see them using taxpayers money searching for and arresting a few hippie kids for a dime bag seems surreal to me.
We also have a Scarborough...
Are you really suggesting that there are no drunken half-wits among 1000 sailors! I would suggest at least 750 from experience.
Best police in the world. Wonderful people hoping to make where they lived a safer place.
Good to see reg. Holdesworthy is still working.
Very interesting .
I swear to God, if somebody British was talking to me, I would tell them to shut up and then I would tell them to just keep talking and just say anything I don’t even care just keep talking because they’re accents are just 🥰🥰🥰
Horse rustlers? Send in the vigilante posse.
They say that alcohol causes all this trouble.. Wrong, they were like this when they were sober, immature..
You all do a great job I am proud of I n Scotland were I I was born in Dumfries
Beautiful K9 , police Dog ♥
2:23 What's the story in Balamory?
English springer spaniel,is premier league,Scottish terrier is Sunday league…😂
Didn't Ainsley do Can't Cook, Won't Cook ?? The best British cooking show ever to be broadcasted !!!
7:46 I preferred Soco 😅
Ex army bloke is a right old helmet.
Born in Edinburgh watching from Bradford 😻
Jesus, they were just having a joint by the rivers edge.
In Germany before the Wall fell, there was much trouble with drunk UK soldiers. The MP was constantly picking them up.
That PC Kirk really cant handle being under pressure, He walked towards a male pushing him whilst the male had been sprayed and was backing away, He sprayed 4 other officers with his spray, He almost punched a bouncer mistaking him for a suspect then to top it all off get gets his cuffs in his hand and makes a fist as if hes about to use them as a weapon... This guy is dangerous!!! The whole reason that group kicked off is because he was pushing there dad.
Yeah he was completely useless.
I thought exactly the same
Sometimes the biggest yobbo is the one in the uniform.
I'm late, but well said, m8. He definitely made the situation escalate far worse than it really needed to be whilst the other policemen tried to de-escalate. Lashed out on more emotion rather than the duty.
It makes me giggle a bit though, the thought of the other officers getting back to the station later just sat there goin "bloody hell Kirk lad. Aim next time yea?" 😂😂
I was wondering they allow these shows to film them but when a general public films them they do not like it?
At this point in time I either worked in Boleyn's nightclub or across the road at zest in Scarborough, the ironic thing is I'm now licensed security and have done the doors around here the police just sit in their vehicles 95% of the time it's us the door staff that are the actual first responders not the police the guy in the yellow t-shirt was refused from a club/bar called the Waterhouse (you can Google this) it's basically a live lounge bar type venue and there is a dress code as is the norm for costal areas if he had trainers on it's very likely that's why he would have been refused either that or the door staff found h and his son too drunk the ensuing fight has most likely got him on pubwatch..it's typically how it goes in Scarborough.
Always the door staff then you get police come and arrest us good on you boy
up the boro

I just watched the places and the people

I love how the British always check the language. That’s awesome. I wish all police forces would check language -
What caught my eye was stobarts teletubby
I'm still trying to comprehend why the government decided, in the 21st century, that any person can "roam" wherever they please, even on private property.
What idiot passed that law.
They were on the Whisky 🥃 at the time it seems.
Agreed, I don't see that law ending well. I don't see how any home/property owner is going to be happy with strangers just wondering all over their property whenever they please. That's just begging for people to go on to your property and steal stuff. Not to mention they damage they could/will do. I seriously doubt the lawmakers who okied this would be fine with strangers walking or having parties on their property.
I think you will find that it is an ancient right for people to roam in the UK. I think it is a great idea and most people respect the rights.
I agree. I’d be fine with it if it was only for public property, but private property? Definitely not! Whoever came up with this law has no common sense
"Let's av im ont deck!"
the copper how was x army in the north east coast was on a power trip but still just shows how fools can spoil it
this was the funniest street scene iv seen "where's ours?" "ya gas is hanging out " embarrassing .terrible
"Bizzare!"
Proposal for a public service award for Police Sergeant Trish Hope for her fine and successful service in rescuing a self-endangering individual and inclusion on the personnel service record
The bag of herbs is spice, that's why he couldn't see! The copper that was in the army is a bad cop , trust me!!
That’s BALAMORY 😅😂❤
Policing cannabis is the biggest waste of police resources it’s fn joke. Even majority of the police say there time could be spent stopping real crime instead of someone chilled harming absolutely no body
A quick view of Oban at 3.56 👍
27:38 If only that was the attitude towards go stop oil lmao. It's simple as that. "Get yourself up fella, you're in the road" *picks up*
`I was literally standing here`
Old Bill is Old Bill .
This is very old,Ken Dodd died in 2018 at 90 years old. I doubt he was doing many gigs before he died
And the futurist has gone as well
That cop needs to take a good look at himself he is not army anymore.
You can see he is full of himself! He's a total bell end.
Does anyone know what year this is?
That copper was bang out of order! He was literary pushing people around & went to punch them!!! He made that entire situation so much. How the hell that copper got away with being abusive to the public is insane. He can't cope with 1 person let alone 2+
ACAB
Let's see you do better when in that situation!
Good woman .
I think Police should always work in pairs , not on their own.
For sure...safety first
They can’t arrest you if there is one of them, just detain you.
@@Mctrippzy That's just not true.
@@gsw8734 yes it is in the U.K. Don’t care what you say it’s correct.
@@Mctrippzy Prove it, nothing in the law has ever stated that anywhere in the UK.
they need to learn hand to hand combat
If someone attacked the police like that here in Philadelphia PA they would be detouring to the hospital or the morgue with the offender.
lol they would most likely be using a gun in the first place...this way nobody has to die.
That's why they're called "puffs" in Britain
Bloke in bridge must have just been to see Ken dodd.
😂😂😂
Despite my previous comment, I would also argue that anyone found drunk is not an idiot or a fool. They have no control over their actions, but do not judge a book by it's drunken state. They might just be brilliant when sober and focused.
Literally, he got called a fool because he was singing about being hung ry. I don’t see that as violent or agressive behaviour 😂
They have complete control of their actions. Are you an alcoholic? If so I pray for you to get clean. That kind of attitude isn't the right one to have. It could cost someone their or someone else life
Firstly, he chose to get to that stage, many people know they are kn*bs when they are drunk and secondly it brings out the true person, not as some say, someone who doesn't exist. This should never be an excuse.
You mean that he was brilliant and focused when he decided to get drunk and now shouldn't be held accountable for his actions? BS
best moment in 14:46
the officer was really nice but he needs to stop spraying his officers in the face =D
🤣
No wonder some police are hated, some of them are on nothing but power trips. 1611 is probably the worst police officer I have seen
Olivers Mount Scarborough.
Is there an international exchange with English cops working in America and American police working in the UK? I would love to see this!!
That will be something to watch. Those rude English young people will get the shock of their lives, and the American people will be shocked, and ask the English cop: Are you not suppose to manhandle me?
That pc Kirk just made everything worse he lost all control of himself making the public worse
They guy in the yellow needed a way different approach. Spraying with no warning is insane too. Mfers sprayed more cops in the eyes than perps lol
Much Fuzzy from Fuzzy
The guys camping on the lake aren't the brightest, putting the tents on loose gravel that they'll have to lay down on. Also, if the tide comes in it's not exactly a good idea to be so close to the water
You've never been on Loch Lomond have you ?
A Loch is not tidal ... geeesh
@@shellc6743 I was being sarcastic. I've being fishing and camping since I was 7 and I was a scout leader.

Horse rustlers AKA gypo's!!!
There's a potential problem - Ken dodd's in Town PMSL
Let's go and hassle some stoner campers. Great use of police time!
Ye I know. 😾
11:19 DO A FLIP
Get Ken DoD to speak to that will make him jump
Georgeous country
The cops are being way too freaking nice when it comes to the ones who are being aggressive towards them
cant stop the boats though!!!!
What would you suggest?
Try to be balanced with your response.
They really should legalize cannabis has as already been done in many states in the US and in Canada. From the looks of it, alcohol causes more havoc in the UK than grass
Has it been proven that cannabis users don't progress to even harder drugs? If not, then legalising it will likely make the drug problem worse, not better. Let's see the evidence first rather than following other countries ideas. The UK followed Scotland's licensing laws in the 90's when it was clearly evident that Scotland had major societal issues with alcohol usage. Guess what happened? Be careful about what you wish for!!
They probably will legalize it, as it dumbs and makes the population easy to control, fooling them into the belief that we are nothing but slaves.
@@davidjma7226 cannabis use doesn't cause people to use harder drugs. It's more likely for people who do harder drugs to have started with smoking it but correlation does not equal causation.
@@johnbryan459 it doesn't dumb the population 😂 many people you talk to each day probably use or have used it. It should be legalised because it has many medical qualities and is a lot less harmful to abuse than alcohol use
@@johnbryan459 you ever tried it, or are you just making uninformed comments?
It would not be marijuana problem defenetly drink
Or had he walked out of the dead kon show !!!
I don't think I've seen this before actually, is it new ?
It’s ancient Common Law.
PC Kirk should not be a policeman he is not cut out for it.
They never learn, do they?
Marijuana … gimme a break! Legalise it, and get on with it…
Scottish Politicians decide that anyone can camp 'any where', until you decide to camp in their back yard..
Sargent Lloyd.... What a flogg..
You can tell who will become the rogue cop!! Proper numpty
Gotta love british english!
they might be patrolling the coastline but they failed big time around dover
Well said fella
Right to roam in Scotland isn't new.
way beyond time to make pot legal and stop wasting cops time
