Things that are impossible to say when drunk:
1. Antidisestablishmentarianism
2. No thanks, I've had enough to drink.
3. You're right officer, I'll just quietly take myself off home.
fair play to officer who jumped in the icey water ! top job , much respect, no matter what people say there, he is a real man
Wouldn't surprise me if he got the sack with this country's health and safety policies.

The cop jumping in the water after that drunk was above and beyond the call of duty.
everyone talks about the bad cops but nobody mentions those diamond cops
But would he do it if the camera's were not filming it thats the thing
Very good policing, no nonsense approach. Credit to the officer who went into that cold water to rescue that guy.
a part from arresting people for swearing not bad
Indeed. The guy didn't give a monkey's that someone was helping him, but that's what good police do. These are good police officers, no doubt.
Yeah I get it, but I reckon that's a policy decision from the senior execs. The cops wouldn't be bothered but they're obliged to do something.@@ZombiestFever

Something my dear old dad used to say “beer in brains out” so true.
Man! I have a lot of respect for UK officers, putting up with those drunks on that shift. It's like being a street Nanny for children who can't handle their alcohol and their divisive behavior.
Uk police officers are extremely tolerant they do tough job putting up verbal and physical abuse unarmed in the majority of cases except for what there issued with. A stab vest.C.S.or pepper spray ,cuffs, an asp telescopic batton and personnel radio. Only officers who are trained are allowed to use Taser .That's a standard issue.
There many specialist jobs within the UK police service. Each part of the United Kingdom has its own county or city force plus marine units.
There is also the B.T.P. British Transport Police. They cover the UK rail network and in London cover the entire underground or tube system.
Ministry of Defence Police they are civilian service but are completely under the control of the Ministry of Defence. As the title suggests all things military including basses and assets. The men and women who form this service are armed with pistols and automatic weapons but also the same kit setup as their civilian counterparts.
There is also another police service that guard nuclear facilities around the UK as you can imagine there armed as well .
The only police service that carry firearms all the time are Police Service of Northern Ireland (British province).P.S.N.I. Although there is peace in Northern Ireland the threat of terrorism really hasn't diminished thats why they still carry firearms.
a part from arresting people for swearing they not bad
we used to describe that aspect of the job as being the world's referee. Well, for those who are unable to order their own lives, either in general or in drink.
I would have thought the poms could handle their drink. They've proved me wrong.
Once upon a time, squaring up to an officer was a big mistake.
I feel like these officers are baby sitting these drunk adults lol
Speaking as an person from Texas, these police officers are excellent. They're polite, helpful and don't seem to let ego get in the way of their job. I'm really impressed.
Did you see our free speech there isnt any in the uk they call it hate speech they make up new laws when they want its a dictatorship
Being better than Texas isn’t much credit. By the way they’re police constables rather than “officers”. That would be like describing grunts as ‘army officers”, which of course they’re not.
@@katarinamaersksekkingstad4480 another person from the UK, in these very comments referred to them as officers.
@@kinglear2832 I’m certainly not from the UK, nor would I ever want to live there. People regularly misname things. People from Northern Ireland often refer to themselves as British despite, their factually being no such thing. People regularly claim to have the flu when what they have is “a bit of a cold”.Run of the mill police in the UK are employed as constables of police, they are supervised by police sergeants. Only those of the rank of inspector and above can properly be referred to as police officers.
.
@@katarinamaersksekkingstad4480 if you're not from the UK why are you lecturing someone about what we call our coppers, the Fuzz, the Boys in Blue, the Sweeney, the Longarm, bobbies, rozzers? We usually refer to them as 'police officers' so you're talking sh*t. 🤦🏻♀🥴

As a U.K. citizen I’m disgusted.. props to the officer for jumping in after that man.. these people need to be brought to court, fined, sentenced to a weeks community service and named and shamed for acting this way. The public would then think twice about how much they drink and conduct themselves
Not men under 26 😅 call it mushy brain majority haven't got the head sense to know any better especially in Grimsby where YOB is frequent ; takes etiquette to compose yourself elegantly intoxicated
From what I see these officers are nice to citizens. Are they the same with people of color? I swear they treat people with patience and respect. I feel like we are in a war zone in the U.S.
Kick rocks
@@omennemo8844 Police in the UK have very good etiquette and handle the public with respect, although they face challenges just like in the US, police have a good rapport with the UK public. That said my very own experience with police in the US have been very good. Perhaps it's to do with being a foreigner or being on a holiday.... Not sure. But I have seen many examples of police in the US and it does seem that many are on a power trip and have an ego to match it. I think police need to work on and in the community to gain trust and respect, but it needs to start with the police and as a result things could get better. I have seen fantastic accounts of police in the US and they are amazing, maybe it's with screening for good police where things maybe going wrong.

Very impressed with the police and their patience in dealing with intoxicated people. As a nurse I understand as I have also dealt with intoxicated people in hospital.
Watching videos like this just get me more motivated to stay on my sobriety journey.
This is why I feel sorry for police. They get a lot of hate, but for most, if you cooperate you won't get hurt. My mum worked as a cleaner at a police station and none of the officers looked down on her and she said they were very kind and had a laugh with each other
I mean 80% of people don’t hate the police, 2% have genuine reasons to dislike them, 10% are just morons and the rest are criminals

Its pathetic and sad to arrest the boy for urinating and another one for swearing. The whole unit checks CCTV,locating drunk people.
But they can't deal with knifecrime.
What do you mean they can't deal with it. They aren't eradicating the urination and disorder here completely either. The same goes for violent crimes where they use knifes for example. They can't eradicate that, because a knife is something everybody has in their kitchen. People get arrested all the time for violent crimes, and that's what the police can do.
